Now this is just incredible. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top ten celebs whose weight loss left them unrecognizable. For this list, we’ll be looking at various celebrities who lost a significant amount of weight and looked completely different as a result. We’ll be ranking our choices based on how much weight was lost and how different the celebrity looked afterwards.

#10: Roseanne Barr

At the height of her fame, Roseanne Barr was considered more than a little overweight. A political activist by the name of Barbara Ehrenreich said that Roseanne represented “the hopeless underclass of the female sex: polyster-clad, overweight occupants of the slow track”... which is delightfully unglamorous. However, her weight dramatically began to change in the mid 2010s when she went on a diet. She told Today that her weight loss stemmed from a “radical and revolutionary” method: “It’s where you eat less and move more.” Her newfound diet and exercise are clearly working out for her, because she looks like a completely different person.

#9: Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley gained fame in the early 1980s after appearing in “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” and “Cheers.” She was at a healthy weight throughout the show’s run, despite admitted obsessive eating. However, Alley states that her body changed when she went through menopause and she could no longer stave off weight gain, and her weight dramatically increased in the 2000s. Working with Jenny Craig, Kirstie's weight went down to 145 pounds before ballooning back up to 228. She then lost 100 pounds around the time she appeared on “Dancing with the Stars,” and many were proud of her dedication and results.

#8: Graham Elliot

Graham Elliot’s weight loss was so dramatic that if you compare before and after pictures you legitimately won’t believe that it’s the same man. A judge on both “Top Chef” and “MasterChef”, Elliot is a renowned chef who, at the age of 27, became the youngest Four Star Chef in the United States. Before his dramatic weight loss, Elliot weighed nearly 400 pounds and had difficulties getting out of his car. In July 2013 he underwent a gastrectomy, began eating better, and took up exercising. He posted on Twitter the following December claiming to be 268, a loss of nearly 130 pounds.

#7: Missy Elliott

One of rap's reigning queens, Missy Elliott was at her largest near the end of the 2000s, and in June 2011, she admitted that she had been diagnosed with Graves’ disease. Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the muscles and heart and may result in unintentional weight loss. Elliott has been on a rigorous health program since being diagnosed with the disease back in 2008 and has reportedly lost up to thirty pounds due to exercise alone. All of this means that the Missy Elliott of today looks completely different than the Missy Elliot of the late 2000s.

#6: Abby Lee Miller

A professional dance instructor and choreographer, Abby Lee Miller is known for appearing in seven seasons of the Lifetime reality show “Dance Moms.” However, she was indicted for fraud in October 2015, as she created a secret bank account to hide her income. She was sentenced to a year in prison in May 2017, and her stint in the slammer resulted in some significant weight loss, which also follows gastric bypass surgery the month before. In January 2018 she posted a nearly unrecognizable photo from prison, and a source claims that she has lost nearly one hundred pounds. Limited access to food, and an onsite gym will do that to a person.

#5: Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson has become synonymous with weight loss in then 2010s. At the beginning of the decade, Hudson teamed up with Weight Watchers – a company that assists overweight individuals in losing weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle – and became their spokesperson. During their partnership, Hudson lost over 50 pounds, and when she appeared on “Oprah” in February 2011, she declared that she had lost up to 80 pounds in the last year. The tabloids and various media outlets soon scrutinized her every appearance, and she became known for her weight just as much as her acting and singing.

#4: ‘Mama’ June Shannon

Say what you want about Mama June, but there’s no denying that she looks much healthier now than she did in her “Honey Boo Boo” days. Mama June and her family were once a laughing stock, with many criticizing their personalities, shady backgrounds, and physical appearances. In 2017, the matriarch revealed she spent $75,000 on various procedures, including gastric sleeve surgery and breast augmentation, resulting in a loss of a staggering 300 pounds. Since that time, she has kept the weight off by exercising, limiting her portions, and eating healthier. And today she looks like a whole new person.

#3: Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill has certainly matured since we first met him. Once upon a time, Hill was little else but the chubby goofball from movies like “Superbad” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” But Hill has grown up, chosen more adult roles, and lost a significant amount of weight. In order to be taken more seriously, Hill consulted with a professional trainer and subsequently went on a strict diet and exercise regiment thanks to a nutritionist. By 2011 he was a whole new person, and the media couldn’t believe it. Gone was the plump kid, and he was replaced by a stylish and fit man.

#2: Drew Carey

What If Tom Brady Never Replaced Drew Bledsoe?

Drew Carey is a poster child for weight loss. Throughout his sitcom “The Drew Carey Show” and the comedy show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” Carey was constantly the butt of good-natured fat jokes from his buddies. But, in August 2001, Carey suffered from chest pains and required an emergency coronary angioplasty, a procedure done to widen blocked arteries, which isn't nearly as funny, or good-natured. In 2010, Carey began dieting and exercising and lost a substantial amount of weight. We suppose he can’t be the butt of fat jokes anymore, because today he looks healthy and great. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Timbaland Star Jones Melissa McCarthy

#1: Josh Peck

Now this is an incredible difference. Josh Peck was well-known for playing the somewhat chubby Josh Nichols in the popular Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh.” He quickly became a fan favorite, as audiences couldn’t get enough of his adorable appearance and cute baby chub. However, fans noticed that Josh looked much thinner around the start of season four, and Peck admitted that he had hired a personal trainer and started eating healthier. Nowadays Peck is a fine-looking YouTuber who has lost all his baby weight and is now married to his long-time girlfriend.
