Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the Top 10 CoComelon Songs. For this list, we’ll be looking at the cutest, most popular, and most well-intentioned “CoComelon” tunes that parents actually don’t mind getting stuck in their heads. Did your all-time favorite “CoComelon” jam make the cut? Sound off in the comments!

#10: “Balloon Boat Race”

That jaunty, circus-style music can only mean one thing: it’s time for the race! The “Balloon Boat Race” song showcases why it’s important for young kids to be determined, and to persevere when things aren’t going their way. J.J.’s little boat is having a difficult time completing the race with his siblings, YoYo and TomTom, and he’s getting disappointed. However, all it takes is a little help from his animal friend to severely increase the wind power in the SS J.J. It isn’t long before his little ship goes SO fast! JJ manages to win a race, we get an encouraging tune, and all is well in the world of “CoComelon.”

#9: “Looby Loo”

Hey, even Mommy and Daddy CoComelon were young once. This is partially why the “Looby Loo” song is so much fun. A visit into the family attic reveals a little turntable and some of Mom and Dad’s old disco records. As soon as the “CoComelon” kids see their parents’ interesting dance moves, they seem delighted. Pretty soon, they get the hang of things themselves, and are dancing along like little champions. Even some of the “CoComelon” animal friends are part of the act throughout. It’s a fun and silly song where all of the crew get to “Looby Loo” together!

#8: “The Teacher Song”

School can be a challenging time, even for younger kids. That’s why it’s so important to foster a friendly relationship with teachers. Miss Appleberry clearly knows this, and uses “The Teacher Song” to introduce herself to her students! Pretty soon, all of the class is singing along, and celebrating all of the good things that Miss Appleberry does on a daily basis. It’s great to see the kids getting along so well, being exposed to new things at school, and having a great time along the way. It’s pretty cute stuff all around.

#7: “Beach Song”

It’s a family day at the beach! Mom, Dad, YoYo, TomTom and JJ head off for some fun in the sun, and they make sure to sing along the way. “The Beach Song” is like all “CoComelon” songs: bright, cheerful and innocent. The kids notably bury Dad in the sand, play in the water, and have a great time together. The song itself reflects this, celebrating togetherness and those all-important bonding moments when the entire family goes out for an excursion! This is a song that both kids and adults watching “CoComelon’ can enjoy anytime, even if it isn’t a beach day.

#6: “The Soccer Song”

It’s not about winning or losing, but rather how you play the game. Still, winning does feel pretty good, right? The videos that accompany “The Soccer Song” are cute, for sure, but also teach an important lesson about sportsmanship. Competition is healthy, but the “CoComelon” kids play it fair, straight down the line! Plus, who knew that Mom was such a talented soccer player? She certainly has some moves! It doesn’t matter whether you call it football or soccer, this great tune teaches some valuable lessons, while never forgetting to treat us to a good time.

#5: “First Day of School”

We’re headed back to school for another “CoComelon” song, and it’s that all important time in a young kid’s life: that very first day! “First Day of School” doesn’t shy away from showcasing a little of those first day jitters, but it doesn’t dwell on this fact. Instead, the song celebrates positivity, and sharing a bit of ourselves with a new class, even if we’re afraid. Before long, J.J. is getting along swimmingly with his classmates, realizing that the first day of school doesn’t have to be so scary, after all!

#4: “What Makes Me Happy”

Hey, being a kid can be tough. Sometimes, they get scared, or sad, and need someone to talk to. This is where “What Makes Me Happy” comes in. The song is an ode to how close the “CoComelon” family is, and how J.J., TomTom and YoYo can always go to Mom and Dad whenever they need them. Are there scary noises in the dark? That’s not a problem. It may seem obvious to adults, but “What Makes Me Happy” showcases just how important parental figures are in making sure kids feel safe and loved. In doing so, it leaves us feeling warm and fuzzy, too.

#3: “J.J. Song”

Does everyone in the “CoComelon” universe get their own theme song? Well, maybe not, but we’re thinking perhaps they should? That’s a discussion for another day, but what “J.J. Song” does is introduce kids watching to the franchise’s main “protagonist” (if there is such a thing). And it does so with a bop, if we do say so ourselves. J.J. is essentially whose eyes many kids peer through as they’re watching the show, so it’s important to demonstrate how his world is full of wonder. That way, children at home can feel comfortable learning about all “CoComelon” has to offer alongside him, his family, and friends!

#2: “My Mommy” & “My Daddy”

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and not every household will be composed the same way. But there’s no denying the message behind these songs is pretty effective all around: moms and dads (and those who fill those parental roles) are the BEST. “My Mommy” and “My Daddy” can be used to celebrate ALL of the amazing people around the world who love and care for little ones. The sweet tune radiates love, and is about that all-important bond between parental figures and those in their care. If that’s not a great life lesson for kids to learn, then what is?

Being a parent or caregiver is full of daily struggles. One of those can be bedtime [xref]. Another big one is…dinner, of course! As we all know, kids can be picky eaters. That’s why the “Yes Yes Vegetables Song” is such a useful tool for folks who need to help their little ones broaden their culinary horizons. It shows J.J. learning about new foods, being open to new experiences, and happily eating their vegetables! The “on the farm” version even gets Nina involved, too. It may not always be easy to get through meal time, but we bet this fun educational tune can help. Plus, it’s just so catchy!
