#10: “Deadly Class” (2019-)

From the minds of Joe and Anthony Russo, the brothers who brought you “Avengers: Infinity War” comes an adaptation of the Image Comics series of the same name. “Deadly Class” is like X-Men, if the X-Men were training the next generation of assassins instead of superheroes. Students at King's Dominion Atelier of the Deadly Arts, under the guidance of Master Lin, learn to become the deadliest killers on the planet, so expect a lot of violence and action. Rick Remender comic is a visual feast, and the trailer leads us to believe the adaptation will be no different.

#9: “Nightflyers” (2018-)

Based on the novella by George R.R. Martin, Nightflyers is the story of a team of scientist who set off to the edge of the solar system to find life in the cosmos, but find that something is lurking on their ship. It’s science fiction, horror, and psychological thriller all rolled into one, and considering it’s from the mind of the man who brought us “Game of Thrones” there’s a lot to be excited about.

#8: “Disenchantment” (2018-)

When it comes to new animated Netflix shows, there’s a lot to look forward to, including “The Dragon Prince” - the new series from “Avatar: The Last Airbender” head writer Aaron Ehasz. But what really caught our attention is the trailer for “Disenchantment,” the new show from “Futurama” and “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening. You won’t have to wait long to explore the kingdom of Dreamland with Princess Bean, Elfo the elf, and Luci the demon, as the show drops on Netflix August 17th, 2018.

#7: “Young Justice: Outsiders” (2019)

It’s been 5 long years since “Young Justice” was canceled after Season 2 ended with a bombshell of a cliffhanger. Since then, fans have been clamoring for additional episodes to tie up loose ends. In October 2016, DC Animation announced that “Young Justice” would be returning, and now we’ve got our first look at Season 3, titled “Outsiders.” With breathtaking action, many familiar faces and a host of new characters, the trailer shows off what made the series special in the first place.

#6: “Shazam!” (2019)

Captain Marvel is one of the oldest superheroes around, making his debut way back in 1940. Zachary Levi will be bringing the character to the big screen in April 2019, and we’ve got this awesome trailer to tide us over. Asher Angel as Billy Batson couldn’t be more perfect, and Levi brings a childlike enthusiasm to Billy’s super-powered alter-ego. With an interesting supporting cast and great special effects, “Shazam!” already looks like a ton of fun, and we can’t wait to see more.

#5: “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” (2018)

Despite the controversy surrounding the casting of Johnny Depp as Grindelwald, there’s a lot to look forward to with this upcoming sequel to 2016’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” Chief among them: Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore, who’s as charismatic as you’d expect in what little footage we see of him. The trailer is filled with awesome special effects, creatures, and all the things we’ve come to expect from the mind of J.K. Rowling. We can’t wait to be back in the wizarding world.

#4: “Aquaman” (2018)

Let’s be honest: while Jason Momoa was great as Arthur Curry AKA Aquaman in 2017’s “Justice League” he wasn’t really given much to do. Now, with his own stand-alone movie, it looks like the prince - and perhaps soon-to-be King of Atlantis will finally be given the spotlight and some time to shine. From what we can tell from the trailer, James Wan’s vision of Atlantis is breathtaking, and their faithful adaptation of Black Manta’s iconic costume has us hopeful that this outing will be among the DCEU’s successes.

#3: “Glass” (2019)

The third film in the Eastrail 177 Trilogy, which includes “Unbreakable” and “Split,” M. Night. Shyamalan’s “Glass” is shaping up to be a superhero movie unlike any other. With Bruce Willis reprising his role as David Dunn, Samuel L Jackson returning as Elijah “Mr. Glass” Price, James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb AKA The Horde, as well as new characters such as Sarah Paulson as psychiatrist Dr. Ellie Staple, “Glass” is certainly one of 2019’s most anticipated films.

#2: “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” (2008-)

We did not see this one coming. During the 10th-anniversary celebration of the beloved series, Lucasfilm announced that the show will return with 12 new episodes on Disney’s upcoming streaming service. In a trailer that is sure to have fans of the series in disbelief, we are re-acquainted with series regulars and the distinct visual style the show is known for. The show concluded on Netflix with "The Lost Missions" in 2014, but many episodes remained unproduced. It seems fans will finally get the conclusion they’ve been waiting for.

Before we get to our top pick, here are some honorable mentions.

“The Walking Dead” (2010-)

“Iron Fist” (2017-)

“Doctor Who” (1963-89; 2005-)

#1: “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” (2019)

2014’s “Godzilla” had a lot promise but left a lot to be desired. For one thing, there wasn’t nearly enough of the titular monster. Well, 2019’s “King of the Monsters” looks to fix that problem in a big way. Set to “Claire de Lune,” this trailer is simply awe-inspiring as it gives us a peek at the scope of the story as well as some of the awesome Kaiju that will be joining Godzilla in this outing. With Millie Bobby Brown in a starring role and ton of giant monster action, this trailer has us waiting with baited breath to see more.
