Top 10 Disney Characters We Want as Emergency Contacts

Top 10 Disney Characters Wed Have as Emergency Contacts
Welcome to MsMojo, and today were counting down our picks for the Disney characters from animated movies wed trust to get us out of a jam.
#10: Pacha
The Emperor's New Groove (2000)
What makes a good emergency contact? Among other things, we need someone we can count on. Pacha is a perfect candidate, willing to undertake dangerous missions so his community is taken care of even when that means dealing with Kuzcos ego. Not only that, the village leader is incredibly patient, responsible, has a strong moral compass, and is a loving father. Concretely, this means he can navigate stressful situations while also advocating for us. Thats exactly the kind of person we want contacted if were hurt or in some kind of danger.
#9: Marlin
Finding Nemo franchise (2003-)
There are a few aquatic Disney characters who would throw us a lifeboat if needed. The Little Mermaids Sebastian, for instance, has a strong sense of duty and pride, and certainly wouldnt leave us drowning . But if we had to pick one creature, wed put our lives in Marlins hands. Hes willing to go to the ends of the ocean to save his son Nemo, no matter the personal cost. That kind of love and dedication is special. Plus, he embraces Dory as one of his own, helping in her mission to find her parents. He understands the value of safety (plus some risk when necessary) and family blood and chosen alike. Hed surely swim through the harshest waves to rescue us.
#8: Aladdin
Aladdin (1992)
Aladdin knows how to survive. He grows and goes through plenty throughout the 1992 movie. But from the moment we meet him, his resourcefulness and bravery are impossible to ignore. He doesnt have a lot at first, materially speaking, but he wont let that stop him from making a life for himself. Sure, his methods arent always exactly legal, what with his thievery and all. Hey, hes a creative problem-solver! Sometimes though, we need someone fearless like that by our side, taking charge through any means necessary when were vulnerable. Whether were stranded somewhere deserted or trapped in a palace, we trust hed answer the call and be one jump ahead.
#7: Ember Lumen
Elemental (2023)
Does Embers temper get her in trouble? Sure, but wed never say no to her help. Dont forget, her fiery personality is also her greatest strength. Not only does she have lots of love to give, shes not the type to let her loved ones suffer while she stands idly by. Why wouldnt she be one of our go-to contacts?! Plus, she always perseveres, and knows the value of hard work. Throughout Elemental, she learns to honor her determination and embrace her full self without sacrificing her spark. She becomes unstoppable, saving the family business and pursuing her glassmaking dream. Shes on fire, and shed definitely use that energy to lend us a hand.
#6: Tiana
The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Smart, hardworking, good under pressure: these are ways wed describe Tiana. In other words, we want her there in a crisis. While we may be stressed or panicking about whatever unfortunate circumstance we find ourselves in, shed step in with a level head. After all, its difficult to think straight or sort through important information when youre in an emergency. Someone reliable taking charge can make all the difference. Tiana is no stranger to hardship, dealing with everything from the death of her father to the struggles that come with wanting to open her own restaurant to being turned into a literal frog. She comes out of every situation stronger, and shed ensure everything goes right.
#5: Judy Hopps
Zootopia (2016)
It never hurts to have law enforcement on your side especially someone as smart as Judy. Sharp as a tack, she uncovers a conspiracy and saves countless lives, championing diversity in the process. Indeed, she doesnt let peoples preconceived notions stop her from proving shes one heck of a bunny police officer. At the end of the day, she also doesnt let prejudice influence her work and learns from her mistakes when she slips. Who better to champion us in a pinch? Shell make sure were safe and that things are being handled by the book. And if someone tries rewriting the rules? Well, she wont let that slide.
#4: Helen Parr [aka Elastigirl]
The Incredibles franchise (2004-)
If it were up to us, wed have most of the characters in this franchise on speed dial. In case of a fashion emergency, wed call Edna Mode ASAP. Ultimately though, its Helen Parr, Elastigirl herself, whom wed trust for many reasons. Lets start with the obvious: her elasticity is a huge asset. A parachute has nothing on Mrs. Incredible! It goes beyond her powers though. Shes multitalented. Whether you need a pilot or a fighter, shes got you. Plus, her intelligence is unparalleled, shes a multitasking problem-solver who regularly springs into action and saves the day, and she can comfort us, like moms do. Thats a pretty unbeatable combination when something goes awry.
#3: Nani Pelekai
Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Nani is a young woman charged with taking care of her little sister alone. Thats a major responsibility; shes even in danger of losing custody. But she never gives up, proving she can be relied upon in a high-pressure environment or crisis. Stitch entering the picture does not make things simple, either. Hes not exactly an easy sell initially, and providing for a child is overwhelming enough without an alien pet! Yet she makes room for him in her heart, and her resilience anchors the family, keeping them together. She may bend, but she wont break. We have no doubt shed share some of that perseverance and guide us through disaster. No one gets left behind or forgotten, remember?
#2: Mulan
Mulan (1998)
You dont need to be at war to benefit from Mulans skills. Shes a warrior in every sense of the word, able to fight hard for whats right. Most people wouldn't have the courage to hide their true identity, join the army, and save their country. But its all in a days work for this heroine. That kind of fortitude is hard to come by, and having a person who possesses it sitting next to us is invaluable in the event of disaster. After all, life does feel like a battlefield in the scariest of times. From needing to kick an enemys proverbial butt to making sure were heard by those with more power, Mulan would come through.
#1: Fairy Godmother
Cinderella (1950)
If you think about it, the Fairy Godmother is basically Cinderellas emergency contact and she shows up without needing to be asked. Shes obviously a seasoned pro when it comes to lifting people up when theyre down. The princess would never have gotten her happily ever after without the help. Plus, lets face it, her magic would come in handy, and shed probably sing us a bibbidi-bop to cheer us up at the same time. Wed be saved and entertained! Somehow, we have a feeling the help wouldnt run out once the clock strikes midnight this time. If the Fairy Godmother is ever indisposed though, we could just hit up Genie and use those wishes.
