Top 10 Funniest Drinking with Seth Moments
#10: Seth & Kelly Clarkson Go Day Drinking
Kelly’s effervescent personality is contagious enough, throw in some cocktails, and you’ve got a party. Seth begins by downing his drink, but it only gets funnier. They invent cocktails based on the singer’s career, take a cognitive test, and yell various phrases from the roof. One of the most hilarious moments is Seth’s attempt to sing Kelly’s hit “Since U Been Gone.” It’s certainly a lively performance, but he shouldn’t quit his day (drinking) job anytime soon. Later, the pair discussed that day on Kelly’s show and revealed some extra amusing details that weren’t caught on camera. From beginning to end, this segment’s laugh-out-loud hilarious.
#9: Seth Gets Drunk on St. Patrick’s Day
Who says Seth can only drink with celebrities? Getting into the St. Paddy’s spirit, he headed down to a nearby Irish pub to celebrate with the locals. He makes a drink called “Leprechaun in the Vineyard” that we’re not convinced will be added to the menu anytime soon. This is followed by a pub quiz that’s clearly rigged against him, making his subsequent attempts to talk to the camera all the more entertaining. Other highlights include his genius breathalyzer, hysterical t-shirts, a bartender with a knife, and the Potato of Truth. Warning: drinking with Seth might result in revealing personal secrets on national television.
#8: Seth & Retta Go Day Drinking
Retta’s hilarious enough sober; add alcohol into the mix, and you’ll struggle to catch your breath from laughter. They kick things off by toasting the new year before heading to the bar to make drinks based on popular TV shows — and things get pretty explosive. Next, they rewrite some theme songs, and Seth tries out his best pick-up lines on his drinking buddy. Turns out no amount of alcohol will ever make these lines good. Still, there’s nothing funnier than watching two drunk comedians come up with solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems. Even if the answer is just to slow dance it out.
#7: Seth & Ina Garten Go Day Drinking
This pairing works like peanut butter and bacon, it might not be an obvious choice, but it works perfectly. Unlike Seth’s attempts to recreate Garten’s drink recipes that become more colorful as they progress. After trying Seth’s Whiskey Sours and watching him stumble over his words and giggle like a child, we’re sure she was glad to move on to food. Yet, their food tests are just as funny, while the bare feet game is just hysterically bizarre. The icing on the cake is when Seth brings out an actual cake he made for the TV chef’s birthday. The moral: don’t drink and ice. Although it’s pretty entertaining to watch.
#6: Seth & Josh Meyers Go Day Drinking in Brooklyn
This was Seth’s Day Drinking debut, and who better to join him on this first outing than his younger brother, Josh. The duo head to Brooklyn, where they stroll down memory lane with ’80s nostalgia and funny family stories. They then enjoy some “champagne omelets” while conversing topics only suited for mimosa drinking. While bar hopping, they’re joined by their dad, and their adventures only get more wild from there. However, the Meyers men all agree that their mom's the best drinker in the family, and she wasn’t too thrilled to have missed out on the invite. Luckily, Seth was only too happy to remedy that.
#5: Seth & His Mom Go Day Drinking
The Meyers men weren’t kidding when they said Hillary Meyers was the best drinker of them all. After several rounds of champagne, Seth’s mom barely even got a buzz, dismissing the sparkling beverage as “child’s play.” We love hearing the family anecdotes and Seth’s chemistry with his mom’s adorable. But don’t worry, there’s plenty to laugh at, such as their relatable French conversation and the don’t flinch challenge. This is the sweetest Day Drinking bit by far, and we only wish it had lasted longer. Hillary could have easily kept going, but we’re not so sure Seth could've kept up.
#4: Seth & Lorde Go Day Drinking
After a year and a half of closed bars, Seth’s joined by Kiwi singer Lorde for the welcomed return of Day Drinking — a practice many of us had perfected during that time. She teaches Seth how to toast, slang from her home country, and challenges him to learn her real name. In return, he tasks her with guessing New England slang and creates drinks based on her songs or the Royals, hard to say. And, of course, we’re treated to another classic drunk Seth musical performance. Lorde later revealed that they went so hard that day that she ended up on an IV.
#3: Seth & Will Forte Go Day Drinking
On this occasion, Seth reunited with his “SNL” castmate and friend for a wacky round of Day Drinking. The MacGruber-inspired drinking game provides a strong start, with the pair creating crazy concoctions under tight time constraints. They reminisce about their time on “SNL” and play various other entertaining drinking games. However, Forte’s take on the famous “The Scream” painting has us crying with laughter. By the time he makes Seth break, we can barely breathe from laughing so hard. Forte’s weird and wonderful comedy style, paired with his and Seth’s genuine friendship, makes this one of the most memorable and funniest Day Drinking segments so far.
#2: Seth & the Jonas Brothers Go Day Drinking
Not wanting to be outnumbered, Seth invited his brother Josh and honorary bro, Jack McBrayer, for reinforcement. Their first round of drinks is inspired by birth order — reminding everyone that the youngest is the favorite and no one cares about the middle child. Next, they play some brother-themed drinking games, including; guess the celebrity siblings, match hairstyles to their owner, and even shuffleboard. Arguably the funniest part is the five-minute songwriting challenge. Although, something tells us that “Bed by Nine” won’t feature on The Jonas Brothers’ next album. We don’t think the Mc-Meyer brothers should expect a call to join the group on tour anytime soon either.
#1: Seth & Rihanna Go Day Drinking
Seth’s love for Rihanna’s no secret, so this was a dream come true for him. He kicks things off with some punny cocktails in honor of her music. Some of which involved chocolate bunnies and Twinkies, among other unlikely ingredients. With their buzz well and truly on, the duo moves on to drinking games, exchanging life advice, and Seth takes the opportunity to test out some pick-up lines too. After receiving a makeover from the Fenty beauty queen, Seth boldly decides it’s time for some music and clumsily mumbles his way through her song. Well, we guess a little liquid courage goes a long way.
