Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we are counting down our picks for the Top 10 Greatest Victories of Sasuke Uchiha. #10: Sasuke vs. Yoroi

Every Sasuke Fight Ranked Naruto

We’re going all the way back to the Chunin exams for this one, specifically the one match that revealed just how capable Sasuke was when it came to copying techniques and putting his own little twist on them. In this instance, he put a rather lacklustre ninja from the Sound Village out to pasture by incorporating Rock Lee’s taijutsu with his own edgy flare. As such, he was able to beat the stuffing out of Yoroi by kicking him into the stratosphere before sending hurtling back to Earth with the Lion’s Barrage.

#9: Sasuke vs. Chino

Top 10 Times Sasuke Went Beast Mode In Naruto

Adapted from the Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise novel, this little exchange not only offered a duel of ocular abilities, but also delved into Sasuke’s psyche during his self-imposed exile following Kaguya’s defeat. It’s a neat little bridge that shows how he is finally free of the chains of vengeance, the catalyst being his fight with Chino and her blood manipulating Ketsuryūgan. Despite outdoing her in the illusion department, the real core of this fight is in how he lectures her the same way that Naruto once did to him during their youth, drawing distinct parallels that show that, yes, finally, he’s grown past the bad boy phase.

#8: Sasuke vs. Orochimaru

Top 10 Naruto and Sasuke Team-Up Fights

For a criminal mastermind, this snake really should have seen this little rebellion coming. With his life-force draining away courtesy of the Third Hokage’s seal, Orochimaru draws ever closer to turning Sasuke into his new vessel…only for his stubborn apprentice to decide on an early graduation and tries to kill him instead. While his giant serpent form nearly succeeded in winning the day, Orochimaru severely underestimated just how powerful Sasuke’s Sharingn had become, to the point where it completely revered the ritual and absorbed Orochimaru’s essence into his own.

#7: Sasuke & Itachi vs. Kabuto

Top 10 Worst Things Sasuke Uchiha Has Done

It would take quite the fearsome opponent to warrant two Uchiha brothers going all out with every Sharingan ability in the book, and yet Kabuto and his Sage Mode qualified. Thanks to his newfound dragon form, Orochimaru’s former assistant proved to be such a threat that both Sasuke and Itachi not only had to go all out with their illusions, but at one point unleash a double Susanoo, and even that didn’t bring the mad bastard down. While the reveal if the Izanami was a pretty interesting way to conclude the battle, the real treasure of this fight is seeing the once hateful and embittered siblings do battle side by side!

#6: Taka vs. Eight Tails

Taking on a crazy cat like Killer Bee was already a dangerous mission in of itself, on account of the Jinchuruki being just as sick with his killing prowess as he was with his bars. Even so, the combined might of the newly named Team Taka appeared to be holding their own…at least until the Eight Tailed Beast came out to play and started wrecking shit left right and centre courtesy of its multiple octopus limbs and Tailed Beast Bomb. In all honesty if it weren’t for Sasuke unlocking the Amaterasu, Taka’s wings would have been clipped on their first flight!

#5: Sasuke vs. Deidara

Art is an explosion, and apparently so is this Akatsuki member, who decided to stop at nothing in order to detonate the likes of Itachi’s younger brother with his never-ending supply of lethal sculptures. Unfortunately for the one-eyed starving artist, his creations didn’t have a patch on the likes of Sasuke’s Curse-Mark form and the newly acquired perks he had gained from absorbing Orochimaru, forcing him to unleash the unstoppable power of his ultimate trump card – the Suicide Bomb Jutsu! Which was promptly blocked via Sasuke hiding inside of a giant snake…

#4: Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura & Kakashi vs. Kaguya

Can’t have a Team 7 reunion without the grumpy Uchiha to complete the trinity and lend his magic eyes to the final battle. With the apparent true villain finally summoned and seeking to reduce all of the shinobi world into an endless slumber, it falls to the misfit trio to end her just as quickly as her reveal. For his part, Sasuke not only proves he can actually work well with others, but its here we get a real of taste of what duel wielding the Sharingan and the Rinnegan looks like!

#3: Sasuke vs. Danzo

This time, it's personal. Following the truth of Itachi’s past, Sasuke unleashes a one man war against those who forced his brother’s hand and caused the Uchiha massacre, leading him to the Leaf Village’s most shady character…one who was revealed to have a major Sharingan obsession and had been infusing multiple ones into his body, to the point where he was capable of using the reality-altering technique known as Izanagi. Of course, a fake is no match for the real thing, with Sasuke’s willpower and superior mastery causing Danzo to use up all his eyes before suffering a deathly case of early retirement.

#2: Sasuke vs. Naruto

These two rivals have fought against one another numerous times, and while their last showdown at the Valley of the End may be the superior spectacle, their first encounter was the one that led to Sasuke’s departure from the Leaf Village after he left his former team-mate out to dry. Not that the knucklehead ninja made it easy for him, as they two pushed themselves to such an insane degree that they were eventually forced to use both their Curse Mark and Nine-Tailed forms in earnest, leading to the now iconic scene in which the Chidori and Rasengan square off!

#1: Sasuke vs. Itachi

And just like that, Sasuke fulfilled his lifelong goal of killing his older brother and avenging his clan…or so he thought. While the revelation following this battle puts a whole new spin on things, the battle itself remains one of the most intricate and emotional across the whole franchise. Both brothers pushing their genjutsu prowess to the very limits, the reveal of the Susanoo, Sasuke unleashing the full strength of the Curse Mark and his lightning style jutsu, all culminating in a sombre ending that would go on to define Sasuke’s character forever more.
