Top 10 John Wick Killstreaks
#10: Assassinations at the Arc de Triomphe
“John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023)
By the time Baba yaga arrived at this famous monument, pretty much every assassin in France wanted a piece of him. But the high number of enemies just meant that Wick had more opportunities to increase his kill count. He initially took out a bunch of foes from a car before his foes nearly took him out of commission. After getting a quick breather and getting hit by another vehicle, Wick got back into form and slayed more assassins. Throughout the sequence, the assassin eliminated at least 18 people on his own. Wick’s actions admittedly didn’t leave him a ton of time for sightseeing. But it did let everyone in France know that he wouldn’t go down easily.
#9: Breaking Into Iosef’s Base
“John Wick” (2014)
After Iosef breaks into the wrong house and fatally wounds a dog he shouldn’t have touched, Baba Yaga returns the favor. John Wick starts by asking for the villain’s whereabouts very nicely. Upon finding Iosef’s Base, the legendary assassin methodically picks off everyone standing in between him and revenge. While a few fall to sniper fire, Wick gets creative with others. His use of explosions in particular drives the estimated bodycount to around 18 people. The unlucky 19th person to fall is the big bad Iosef himself. By the end of this base-breaking scene, Wick had finally got the revenge he returned to the business for.
#8: A Hellish Stair Climb
“John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023)
It seemed like the last thing standing between the protagonist and a duel for his final fate was a long set of stairs. Unfortunately, a number of assassins were aware of that very fact. This meant that Wick had no choice but to eliminate everyone who came his way in order to survive. Even getting thrown down the stairs didn’t discourage him from climbing up. During this sequence, Wick gets a lot of cardio and confirmed kills. He slays around 24 people by himself. While both Caine and Mr. Nobody lent crucial assists, we’ll save their numbers for another time. For now, we’ll focus on the fact that Wick took out two dozen people and many more stairs in one go.
#7: Overcoming Enemies In Osaka
“John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023)
When High Table assassins are sent to the Osaka Continental to kill Baba Yaga, he and his allies stand together to eliminate every threat. Every single person on his team more than pulls their weight. But that doesn’t mean that Wick doesn’t do some heavy lifting himself. As he makes his way through the hotel, he uses a variety of guns and knives to take lives. Wick also takes a brief break from the deadly carnage to do damage with nunchucks. When the assassin finally checks out, he carries a receipt of around 27 kills. Since this isn’t the only time Wick’s run into lots of enemies at a hotel, we’d highly recommend thinking twice before reserving a room with him.
#6: Running Through the Red Circle
“John Wick” (2014)
Arguably one of the best action sequences of the last decade, John Wick finds himself at a nightclub where his target hangs out. What happens next is one magnificently choreographed gunfight. Before Iosef met his end, Wick chased the villain through a club. Every hired goon that tried to stop the pursuit learned about the assassin’s notable reputation the hard way. The music and stylized lighting made for one seriously cinematic experience. And to show he isn’t playing around, Wick doesn’t spare any bullets on security. Although the assassin doesn’t get Iosef in this scene, he does eliminate 28 foes in just one night.
#5: Mixing It Up in Morocco
“John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” (2019)
A simple conversation with a man named Barrada turned south when he tried to harm hotel manager Sofia’s dog. Since she’s one of Wick’s closest allies, he had to fight by her side when she started shooting to get revenge. Despite being completely caught off guard, the assassin got very deadly extremely quickly. Wick traveled through a coin mint while dealing out accurate shots after shot. He also didn’t mind that Sofia and her trained dogs helped to reduce the enemy numbers by quite a bit. When all was said and done, Wick barely edged out his Red Circle night by taking out 29 foes. This sequence served as further proof that no one should mess with a dog in the “John Wick” universe.
#4: Defending the New York Continental
“John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” (2019)
How did Baba Yaga manage to clear over 30 kills in one location? First, Wick’s friend Winston gave him some much needed supplies. Next, the assassin got up close and personal with a number of High Table assassins. But Wick’s true strength in this scene was his flexibility. After noticing that his armored enemies weren’t going down quickly, he adjusted his strategy. Wick took full advantage of his surroundings to get ahead. And even after gunning down over two dozen foes, he still had enough left in the tank to fight off sword wielding assassins and a rival. While Wick honestly deserves extra credit for taking out the extremely dangerous Zero, the true number of kills here stands at around 31.
#3: A Very Deadly House Party
“John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023)
When the protagonist needed to even up the odds with yet another massive group of assassins, he headed into an empty house. The change in scenery turned out to be just what Wick needed to start one of his most impressive killstreaks in the franchise. His skills were especially highlighted during a long tracking shot that gave us a top down perspective of the action. While Wick relied on tons of normal artillery, he sent several targets to a fiery grave with some special rounds. He also managed to hold off the especially skilled Mr. Nobody while avoiding all the other threats. Although Wick decided to exit the house party he started before eliminating everyone inside, he still claimed around 34 lives in one sequence.
#2: Carnage In the Catacombs
“John Wick: Chapter 2” (2017)
Wick thought he was in the clear after taking out 17 enemies in one go. But it became obvious that he was far from done once he entered the Catacombs. When a tenuous ally sent a veritable army into the dark passageways to eliminate Wick, he struck back with incredibly deadly force. The assassin also proved he was prepared for anything by switching between weapons he had preset underground. Although their enemies had the element of surprise, they still weren’t ready to handle the force of nature that is John Wick. He executed 41 people on his way back up to the surface. It was honestly surprising that Wick’s foe had any hired guns left to send after all that carnage in the catacombs.
#1: A Deadly Night at the Museum
“John Wick: Chapter 2” (2017)
The always classy Baba Yaga put on his best suit to take out yet another big bad in a museum. Since Wick didn’t have any allies around to lighten the load, he had to get through the fancy location with his deadly skills alone. And did we mention that he fought through legions of enemies while injured? Against all odds, Wick is able to take every hit and keep on going. And he once again had to end a long night by assassinating the deadliest member of his foe’s crew. Once the big bad Ares took her final breath, Wick got to breathe too. His trip to the art museum enabled him to set his yet unbeatable record of a 43 hit killstreak.
