Regardless of whether you’re one of her devoted Twitter followers or simply a fan of her modelling/acting work, there’s no denying that Chrissy Teigen is one funny lady. Just take a look at this brutally honest Tweet she sent out on June 15th, 2016. We here at MsMojo are well aware of the toll a new baby takes on a mother. Sleep deprivation is just one of the many symptoms they have to deal with and it appears Teigen succumbed to it while using her breast pump. Teigen and hubby John Legend have been a fixture at the Grammy Awards for years, but decided to skip the ceremony in 2019 for some much-needed down time. While Legend took a nap, Teigen took to Twitter to document what it’s like when a celebrity couple doesn’t go to a prestigious awards show. The result was unsurprisingly hilarious! First Teigen tweeted “no Grammys for us today. john got and EGOT and egot lazy” – a witty reference to the fact that John recently attained EGOT status, because he has now won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar AND a Tony. She then gave a “not-going-to-the-grammys makeup tutorial” on Insta stories followed by a tweet about how she was “4 wines” deep. Never change Chrissy, never change.

We’ll come right out and say it: John Legend is one lucky dude. Chrissy Teigen is the total package: brains, beauty and a great sense of humor to boot. What more could a guy want? Legend’s ego no doubt spiked when he married this goddess of a woman, so it’s nice to know that she keeps it in check by occasionally sending him nudes with the caption “sorry wrong person”. Or at least, that’s what she’d have the world believe based on this hilarious tweet from 2014. We can only imagine the look on her husband’s face when he receives those texts.

Remember how we said that Chrissy Teigen likes to keep her husband’s ego in check? Well, it appears she wants to keep the rest of him in check as well; especially if she ever ends up being murdered. Teigen tweeted in 2014, “I always have a note in my pocket that says, "John did it" just in case I'm murdered because I don't want him to remarry #truelove #tips". Okay, first off, that’s amazing and sort of creepy. Secondly, Teigen including #truelove at the end of the tweet shows that her concern comes from a good place...right? We don’t advocate wrongly accusing people of murder, but we’ve gotta hand it to Teigen- this is genius.

If you’re Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, it would appear that 2019 is the year of skipping award shows. The couple opted out of the 91st Academy Awards, but did make an appearance at the Vanity Fair afterparty. Teigen clearly had her phone in hand the entire time, live tweeting the event and dropping such insightful comments as “I am@bombed” and telling John to get out of her picture. You know, typical Teigen behavior. The next day was apparently pretty tough for the model, who continued tweeting things like, “I hereby go sober for at least the week. Booze is poison."
