#10: “Flash Gordon” (1980)

In this cult classic, a kidnapped journalist meets the daughter of her tormenter, thus setting the stage for a brief yet hilarious pillow fight. After being flung like a rag doll, the beautiful Princess Aura receives a right hook from Dale Arden and a verbal attack that has bystanders giggling with glee. While duking it out on a ginormous golden bed, the two colorful dames realize they need to work together, and what could have been a Hall of Fame pillow fight turns into a late night session of Girl Talk. Oh, the possibilities.

#9: “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” (2012)

We’ve all heard this story: two chimpanzees win big at the casino and celebrate by dressing up like Versailles Queens. What Madagascar 3 added to the classic tale was a hard-hitting pillow fight featuring a snappy, penguin catch phrase and a rather…uninformed….response to an explosion of feathers. It’s just a game, penguins….it’s just a game.

#8: “StreetDance 2” (2012)

“There was a StreetDance 2”? said The World. Yes, this was a real thing that happened and a monster pillow fight serves as its legacy. While preparing for a dance battle that would make Lord of the Dance’s Michael Flatley blush, Ash and the crew lighten things up with bedtime tomfoolery featuring floating feathers and exaggerated smiling. Does it really matter who the best dancer is? Heck, no. All that matters is “The Art of the Dance” - well, at least to this group of playful prancers. Now all we need is “StreetDance 3,” said the cast of “StreetDance 2.”

#7: “Annie” (1982)

Sixteen years before the Jigga Man introduced “Hard Knock Life” to a new generation, a group of orphans sang their hearts out and belted each other with heavy pillows. After being punished by the ornery supervisor for singing, the gang breaks out into song – AGAIN- led by Annie and her fluffy, red microphone cover hair. The scene would become even more fluffy once the pillow fight reached its climax, and the snow-like atmosphere must have inspired the 1983 film “Scarface” because it looked like Tony Montana sneezed all over the place.

#6: “Little Nicky” (2000)

Life can be stressful for the son of the Devil, especially if you have an embarrassing speech impediment and have to compete with your brothers. Such was the case in “Little Nicky,” when Adam Sandler’s character battled it out with big bro and “let the feathers fly.” In a brash attempt to lure Adrian into a silver flask, Nicky utilized a classic pillow fight technique by launching one cushion into the air as a distraction. The maneuver worked and the brothers from hell continue their beef in another realm.

#5: “The Room” (2003)

Arguably one of the worst films ever made, Tommy Wiseau’s “The Room” contains numerous subplots that make little sense, along with the some of the most horrible acting the universe will ever see. Because of these marvelous flaws, “The Room” has became a cult classic and features a rather strange pillow fight involving the passionate Johnny and Lisa, along with their teenage neighbor Danny. The young boy has been taken under Johnny’s wing but refuses to let the couple have time alone. So what happens next? Pillow fight!

#4: “National Lampoon’s Animal House” (1978)

Two decades before “Not Another Teen Movie,” John Belushi’s Bluto Blutarsky sat atop his own ladder and creepily peered through a sorority house window in order to see some boobs. Lucky ol’ Bluto found a whole squad of enthusiastic women swatting at each other and he slyly turned towards the audience to break down the fourth wall. Of course, he mentally broke down himself after experiencing the power of the almighty breasts. “Animal House” gave us a classic pillow fight and an unforgettable John Belushi moment.

#3: “Scary Movie 4” (2006)

Charlie Sheen announced that he was “bi-winning” during his 2011 meltdown, but he was already tri-winning five years earlier. “Scary Movie 4” gave us several cameos, but perhaps none was more ahead of its time than Sheen and the Hugh Hefner Trio known as Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. Did they offer a collective performance worthy of an Academy Award? Hardly. But they did produce a slo-mo, symmetrical pillow fight with shades of pink, blue and black. Take that, Roy. G. Biv.

#2: “Shanghai Knights” (2003)

Everybody knows that you don’t peg someone in the head with a pillow when they’re not looking. Jackie Chan’s Wang – err character - broke this cardinal rule in “Shanghai Knights” but only to right a wrong. After betraying his pal Roy played by Owen Wilson, Wang organized a massive pillow fight to make things right. Unfortunately for Roy, his love interest appears just after he drops his pants during a fit of all-out pillow fight ecstasy. Be careful what you wish for. Yes, pillow fights are fun…fun but RISKY.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
- “100 Girls” (2000)
- “Sorority Boys” (2002)

#1: “The Hot Chick” (2002)

Rob Schneider takes the top spot with the ultimate pillow fight scene resulting from a hilarious case of “switcheroo.” After a pair of mystical earrings becomes separated, a petty criminal and beautiful cheerleader change bodies, and Rob Schneider’s Clive Maxtone finds himself at the receiving end of vicious cheerleader gossip. Rather than accept it like a man (we mean, woman?), he unleashes devastating uppercuts via pillow and slowly puts the snarky cheerleaders to sleep. Lights out and game over!
