Top 10 Nickelodeon Crossovers

Top 10 Nickelodeon Crossovers
VOICE OVER: Phoebe de Jeu WRITTEN BY: Joey Turner
These Nickelodeon crossovers made our childhood dreams a reality. Our countdown includes "iCarly" "Victorious," "Drake & Josh," and more!

#10: “Danger Game” & “Babe Loves Danger” “Henry Danger” (2014-20) & “Game Shakers” (2015-19)

Believe it or not, these two sitcoms have crossed paths twice. Once in the one-hour special “Danger Games” where the Game Shakers team up with Captain Man and Kid Danger to protect Double G, and again in the episode “Babe Loves Danger” where Henry and Babe spend Valentine's Day together. Yes, you heard that right, it looked like love was in the air between Henry and Babe. It’s one thing to have two shows interact, but these crossovers took it an extra step by building a romantic interest between their respective main characters. Unfortunately, their love story is left on a cliffhanger in the “Game Shakers” series finale, and we never truly find out where they go from there.

#9: “Guide to: Daydreaming and Gym” “The Fairly OddParents” (2001-17) & “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide” (2004-07)

In the middle of Ned’s spy-themed daydream, Secret Agents Ned and Moze need a way to get into Sweeney’s evil science lab. Thankfully, help arrives in the form of The Fairly OddParents, Cosmo and Wanda, who poof the two agents into the lab. Of course, this means that Ned could have just wished for a way to defeat Sweeney - but where would the fun be in that? Regardless, we got to enjoy a funny, unexpected guest appearance from our favorite fairies. Fun fact, the creator of “Ned’s Declassified”, Scott Fellows, was a writer for “Fairly OddParents'', and Cosmo’s voice actor Daran Norris plays our favorite lazy janitor, Gordy – so the two shows fit like a glove.

#8: “Linc or Swim” “The Loud House” (2016-) & Various Nicktoons

Once again, the Loud Kids have been suspended from the community pool – this time for having chicken fights during Senior Swim. After they leave, we notice a few familiar faces around the pool – looks like a few elderly Nicktoon characters showed up for Senior Swim too. Among the seniors includes Grandpa Lou Pickles from “Rugrats”, Grandpa Phil from “Hey Arnold”, Miss Bitters from “Invader Zim”, Miss Fowl from “Jimmy Neutron”, and Uncle Iroh from “Avatar: The Last Airbender”. While they don’t speak, and disappear for the rest of the episode, it’s still a real treat to see so many Nickelodeon seniors make a surprise cameo.

#7: “Amanda Bynes/City High” “All That” (1994-2005; 2019-) & “The Amanda Show” (1999-2002)

Amanda Bynes: Child Stardom, Leaving Hollywood & Where She Is Now

During the golden age of “All That”, Amanda Bynes was the show’s youngest star before moving on to her own spin-off show, “The Amanda Show”. In season 7, she happily returns to her roots guest-starring alongside the new cast. Unfortunately, Amanda didn’t come alone – her insane number one fan, Penelope Taynt, followed her in another desperate attempt to meet her idol. Security has been beefed up with Barney the security guard… but since when has he been able to stop Penelope? Fortunately, she once again fails to meet her idol, and we can enjoy Amanda once again being a part of the show that got her started on Nickelodeon.

#6: “iStart a Fan War” “Drake & Josh” (2004-07), “Zoey 101” (2005-08), & “iCarly” (2007-12)

You just never know whom you’re going to meet at a convention. In the “iCarly” one-hour special “iStart a Fan War”, the “iCarly” trio is hosting their own panel at Webicon. Among the fans in the audience are a few Dan Schneider alumni – Craig, Eric, and Gavin from “Drake & Josh” and Stacey Dillsen from “Zoey 101”. Stacey’s regained her lisp and joins her fellow “Creddie” shippers in the war, Craig gets himself and Eric kicked out of the panel, and Gavin gets blown away by a flare after saying his iconic catchphrase, “I got it”. Even though the con devolves into chaos, it was still a treat to see so many supporting characters make a comeback.

#5: “Helen Back Again” “Drake & Josh” (2004-07) & “Victorious” (2010-13)

Hollywood Arts’ principal has retired, leaving the school in need of a new principal… and you’ll never believe who takes up the mantle. That’s right, Helen Dubois, the sassy, overbearing theatre manager from “Drake & Josh”. She wastes no time enforcing her rule over the school and having the students re-audition… but she almost accidentally gets Tori kicked out thanks to a mistake her assistant made. Fortunately, everything is resolved in the end… but Helen disappears after this episode. Years later, she re-appeared on “Game Shakers” where she now had her own talk show. From a sitcom child star to a theatre manager, to a school principal, and finally a talk show host –these crossovers really expanded Helen’s resume.

#4: “Rugrats Go Wild” (2003) “Rugrats” (1991-2004) & “The Wild Thornberrys” (1998-2004)

Top 10 Worst Things Angelica Pickles Has Done On Rugrats

Unlike most of Nick’s other crossovers, this one got a theatrical release. During their vacation, the Rugrats and their families end up stranded on a seemingly deserted island with no hope of escape. It turns out that they wound up on the same island as the Thornberrys, and it doesn’t take long before things really get wild. Angelica forms an unlikely friendship with Debbie, the babies go on safari with an amnesiac Nigel, and the biggest shock of all… we get to hear Spike the Dog talk! While not a critical success, this theatrical crossover was still a fun, exciting adventure showing what happens when two Klasky Csupo cartoons meet face-to-face.

#3: “Danger & Thunder” “Henry Danger” (2014-20) & “The Thundermans” (2013-18)

Pop quiz – how does Nickelodeon cash in on the Superhero Movie craze? By having two of their superhero sitcoms team up for a one-hour special event. A massive crime wave is sweeping through Swellview, and Captain Man and Kid Danger have their hands full. Fortunately, Phoebe Thunderman arrives to lend them a much-needed hand –and Max comes along to swipe some supervillain gadgets. It all leads up to an epic battle of heroes versus villains on top of a fast-moving train. It would’ve been nice to see more of the “Thundermans” cast involved – how would Dr. Collosso interact with the other villains? – but it’s still a funny, epic team-up.

#2: “iParty with Victorious” “iCarly” (2007-12) & “Victorious” (2010-13)

Carly, Sam, Freddie, Spencer, and Gibby make their way to Los Angeles when they suspect that Carly’s new boyfriend might be cheating on her. Unfortunately, the rumor is true, and the other unfortunate girl is Tori Vega. Rather than get mad, both girls decide to get even and team up to humiliate the weasel iCarly-style. In the end, both “iCarly” and “Victorious” cast members join together to sing a heart-pumping mash-up of both series’ theme songs. Throw in a guest appearance from Kenan Thompson and you’ve got the recipe for an amazing crossover between two of Nickelodeon’s best teen sitcoms –and this wouldn’t be the last time these two shows crossed paths. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. “The Fairly Odd Phantom” “The Fairly OddParents” (2001-17), “Danny Phantom” (2004-07), “T.U.F.F. Puppy” (2010-15), & “Bunsen Is a Beast” (2017-18) Episode 1130 “All That” (1994-2005; 2019-) & “Zoey 101” (2005-08) “Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1987-96) & “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (2012-17) “Knight & Danger” “Henry Danger” (2014-20) & “Knight Squad” (2018-19)

#1: “The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour Trilogy” “The Fairly OddParents” (2001-17) & “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius” (2002-06)

Top 10 Best Fairly OddParents Episodes Ever

An average kid with fairy godparents meets a large-headed boy genius. A meetup so nice, they did it not once, not twice, but THREE times. In the first special, Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner accidentally switch universes and must find a way to set things right. In the second special, “When Nerds Collide” the two must overcome their differences to defeat a common foe. Thirdly, in “The Jerkinators”, they finally make peace… only to create their own worst enemy. Each special has both shows perfectly complementing each other in terms of humor and the inner conflict of science versus magic; the fact that it’s 2D animation versus CGI animation makes it all the sweeter.
