A role-played by actress Diane Lane, Marsh is an agent on unfamiliar ground when charged with finding an untraceable serial killer that enjoys posting brutal crimes live on the web. Working the night shift, she demonstrates that a keyboard and mouse can be more powerful then a revolver and handcuffs.

Though she doesn’t have the textbook physique or voice, she takes advantage of the academy’s new open training policy. Along the way, she proves she can transcend her limitations and transforms herself into a confident, effective and authoritative officer.
