Top 5 Refrigerators 2020
Welcome to GetMojo, we do the research so you don’t have to! In this video, we’re offering our picks for the 5 best refrigerators on the market in 2020.
What’s a kitchen without a good full-size refrigerator? Unfortunately, as with all other kitchen appliances, trying to choose a refrigerator can be a bit overwhelming. But not to worry, we’re here to help. We’ve sifted through numerous website and consumer reviews to present our 5 recommended products. Okay, first up.
The Front Runner
GE Side-by-Side Refrigerator (GSS25GSHSS)
Although fridges come in all sorts of funky styles nowadays, this GE model is pretty conservative. However, where it impresses is with its sheer amount of adjustability and convenience. As well as offering a full-height freezer - perfect for large families - its glass shelf and bin flexibility is second to none. Priced at around $1,600, it also comes fitted with an in-door water and ice dispenser.
The Top Freezer Option
LG Top Freezer Refrigerator (LTCS24223S)
Another fairly traditional design, this LG model will favor those who perhaps don’t need a whole lot of freezer space. It’s still incredibly practical though, with tons of adjustable, easy-to-maneuver shelves. And it’s one of the most efficient fridges on offer, too. Although it doesn’t offer an in-built water or ice dispenser like the aforementioned GE model, that is reflected in the price, as it costs $200 less at around $1,400.
The Flexible One
Samsung French Door Refrigerator With FlexZone (RF24R7201SG)
If you like your kitchen appliances to look unique, and want intuitive practicality, then this Samsung model offers a pretty intriguing proposition. Boasting wardrobe-like practicality, with numerous shelves and storage solutions, it also features a Flexzone draw, which allows you to intelligently divide your food up and choose from four different temperature settings. Priced at around $2,000, it even comes with a fingerprint-resistant finish and smartphone compatibility.
The Value Option
Maytag Wide French Door Refrigerator (MFI2570FEZ)
This Maytag model is by no means the cheapest refrigerator on sale at around $2,000, but it offers excellent value for money. With enough food space inside for a family of six, this model has wide, slide-out shelves for convenient packing and unpacking, a built-in ice and water dispenser, a fingerprint resistant finish and a PowerCold feature that quickly gets your newly-loaded groceries back to the right chilled temperature. It also happens to be one of the sleekest-looking fridges on the market.
The Other GE Model
GE Profile Series French-Door Refrigerator (PFE28KYNFS)
We wanted to shine the limelight on GE yet again here, with this model incorporating the flexibility of our front runner pick, with some of the more sophisticated features of its competitors. As well as having tons of adjustable shelves and draws, which sit alongside a wide range of temperature controls, this GE model also has things like an auto-filling water dispenser, and a water filter that can remove things like ibuprofen and chlorine. It’s quite pricey at around $2800, but you certainly get what you pay for.
So which refrigerator should you choose? Well, fridges are available with a lot of sophisticated features nowadays, including smartphone compatibility, so just be sure you’re not paying for something you’re not going to use!
