Top 75 Times Karens Faced Justice

Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the rudest, most entitled, and most belligerent people, aka Karens, who received karmic justice for their actions. We’ll explore the inciting incident and what cosmic consequences they received.

#75: Slapstick Karen

Justice doesn’t always involve the law; sometimes appropriate consequences occur outside the legal framework. In 2015, a Karen’s incorrect takeout order did not make her a happy bunny. Apparently, she was livid her food contained green peppers instead of red, stating her kids wouldn’t eat such colors. Who wants to bet Karen didn’t let them know this beforehand? Anyway, Karen decided some racism was needed as she scolded the staff for speaking another language. The nice employees offered to make it again, but it would take 15 minutes. Naturally, Karen couldn't wait and so she stormed out while yelling. But then karma came into play as she walked right into the glass door. Delightful.

#74: Hammer of Justice

As the old expression goes, “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” In 2024, the owner and barista of the Taste of Heaven Espresso bikini coffee stand in Seattle, Washington, Emma Lee, was in for a dramatic shift. A regular customer arrived at the drive-thru, got his order, and then kicked off upon being charged more than usual. After making threats, he eventually got his order from Lee. Then, he threw the water and the coffee at the serving window. In a flash, Lee popped out again, armed with a hammer, and smashed his windscreen! Not only does the tantrum man have to fix his car, but he’s also been banned from Lee’s establishment, and she filed assault charges against him.

#73: Farmer Karen

In June 2020, Dan Floyd wanted to celebrate Pride Month while he sold products via his Dan Good Cookies business at the Livermore Farmers' Market in California. So he handed out pride flags to customers. Gail Hayden, the director of the California Farmers' Market Association, made sure she used her authority to dash that nice gesture. She was recorded berating Floyd, calling the LGBTQIA+ promotion a “political point of view.” Yikes. Hayden also tried to claim the flags were a health and safety risk as kids were having sword fights with them. When the footage went online, the internet and the LGBTQIA+ community were livid at Hayden, and she was forced to resign from her director position.

#72: Chipotle Chucker

Let the punishment fit the crime, as they say. In 2023, Rosemary Hayne wasn’t happy about the appearance of the hot burrito bowl she’d ordered from a Chipotle in Ohio. So she argued with employees, leading her to throw the dish at Emily Russell before storming off. Have no fear. Haynes was soon arrested and found guilty of assault. She was fined and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 90 suspended. However, the judge offered her an unusual alternative. Haynes could instead work 20 hours per week for 60 days at a fast food restaurant, which she accepted. Russell, on the other hand, quit her job due to a lack of support from Chipotle management.

#71: Burger Basher

If you ask for extra ketchup on a burger, a rational person wouldn’t be upset to receive what they asked for. But no one said Karens were rational. In 2022, a woman at a McDonald’s was filmed doing the classic Karen thing of asking to speak to the manager. The woman was apparently mad at getting too much extra ketchup. Channeling her inner toddler, the Karen slammed the burger on the counter, causing it to explode everywhere. She then claimed the staff were mocking her because she was on a diet, even though she didn’t tell them that. When the video spread online, Karen posted an update saying she was fired due to the clip and accepted no responsibility.

#70: Rich Racist

Donald Sterling had owned the NBA team, the Los Angeles Clippers since 1981, but that came to an end in 2014. During leaked audio between the real estate mogul and his mistress, V. Stiviano, Sterling was angry that she had taken a photo with the legendary Magic Johnson. He stated while Stiviano could sleep with black people, Sterling asked her not to bring them to his games. The league, coaches, and players – including those from the Clippers – were outraged at Sterling’s racist remarks. The NBA banned Sterling for life and fined him $2.5 million. Sterling’s wife pushed through the sale of the Clippers, eventually overcoming his efforts to block it by suing her and the NBA.

#69: Acting Up

If you’re an actor who’s a bigot, you might want to study your role before accepting a part. In 2019, actor Seyi Omooba caused outrage when a 2014 social media post in which she ranted homophobically was discovered. The problem was that Omooba had been cast as Celie in a UK theater run of “The Color Purple,” a role that involves a lesbian relationship. After being dropped by the production and her agency, Omooba took everyone to a tribunal with the support of her father’s group, Christian Concern. In 2021, she lost the case and was ordered to pay over £300,000 in legal fees. Like a glutton for punishment, Omooba appealed. However, that was rejected in 2024.

#68: Birthday Bigots

You don’t get much more Karen-y than dictating who can and can’t live near you based on absurd criteria. In 2015, a group of white supremacists under the name “Respect the Flag” drove around Douglasville, Georgia, waving Confederate flags and weapons, screaming racial slurs, and threatening anyone who wasn’t white. This included families and children attending a birthday party. The group did this shortly after extremist Dylann Roof had committed a heinous church shooting in South Carolina. In 2017, couple Jose Torres and Kayla Norton were found guilty for their involvement. Torres was sentenced to 13 years in jail and 7 on probation, Norton to 6 years and 9 on probation. The duo sobbed as they received their punishment.

#67: Tram Tirade

Most of the time, public transport is easy and uneventful. But apparently not when Emma West got on a tram from Croydon, England, to Wimbledon in 2011. With a child sitting awkwardly on her knee, she launched into a racially charged tirade, ignorantly telling anyone, mostly non-white passengers, to go back to their countries. After the clip went viral, West was located and arrested. In 2013, she was given a 24-month community order. However, that wasn’t the end of it. In 2014, after being suspended from her job, West was struck off as a dental nurse by the General Dental Council after they deemed her a risk to patient safety.

#66: Principal of Racism

When most folks make a mistake at work, they don’t become a bigot. But apparently, Nancy Gordeuk is cut from a very different, severely frayed cloth. In 2015, the founder and principal of the TNT Academy in Stone Mountain, Georgia, accidentally dismissed students at graduation before the valedictorian’s speech. When she called them back, for some reason, Gordeuk singled out the black students and berated them. After the clip went viral and caused outrage, Gordeuk apologized, but she added that “the devil” made her behave racist. As a result of the scandal and pointing fingers at Satan, the school’s board of directors voted to fire Gordeuk.

#65: TSA Tantrum

In 2023, three TSA agents had the worst shift ever when Ma’Kiah Coleman went through security at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Due to the rules, you can’t take large quantities of liquids through, and Coleman wasn’t happy to lose her precious apple juice. After ranting and trying to get her items back, she got onto a table to illustrate her frustration. When the agents tried to control her, it got messy. Coleman elbowed one, giving them a concussion, and ripped their top. Then, after taking off her shirt for some reason, she grabbed another's hair and punched them multiple times. Finally, Coleman bit the remaining agent. Unsurprisingly, she was arrested and charged on several counts, including assault.

#64: The Undermining Volunteer

It’s basic decency to address people by their preferred and actual title. Especially when it comes to a formal setting like a council zoning commission meeting. Well, Tony Collins didn’t want to be decent in 2021. During a Greensboro, North Carolina City Council Zoom meeting, Collins, a volunteer construction contractor, refused to address Carrie Rosario as “Dr. Rosario.” Instead, he referred to her as “Mrs. Rosario” despite her correcting him multiple times. It makes you wonder if he’d have been so rude if Rosario had been a white man. At a later meeting, the council disclosed Collins showed “white privilege and entitlement” and voted to fire him from his position in the zoning commission.

#63: Soup Assault

In 2021, Jannelle Broland, a manager at the Sol de Jalisco restaurant in Temple, Texas, was having an annoying shift. She’d just dealt with a phone call from Amanda Martinez complaining about her soup being so hot that it melted the plastic lid. But Broland’s workday was going to get worse when Martinez walked in and began ranting. When the manager asked her to calm down or the cops would be called, Martinez lobbed the soup in Broland's face before running off. Thankfully, it wasn’t hot. But the spicy content did give the manager a nosebleed and irritated her eyes. In 2023, Martinez was fined, told to pay court costs, and received 15 months deferred adjudication and 6 days of jail work release.

#62: First Class Racism

Nice neighbors can make a house a home. Nasty neighbors can make a house a hellscape. Suzanne Craft is definitely in the nasty category. In 2020, she began targeting fellow Louisville, Kentucky residents with her bile. Simply being an interracial couple was enough to rile up Craft, who sent a family letters through the post containing threats, bullets, and racist slurs. The Karen neighbor has a history against this and another family, too. She was convicted of vandalism for spraying offensive imagery and slurs on their properties, resulting in Craft being given a no-contact order, which she ignored. In 2023, Craft was sentenced to 9 years in jail, followed by 3 years of supervised release for her horrible harassment.

#61: The AstroNut
Lisa Nowak could’ve spent the rest of her days living off the fact that she was a NASA astronaut. Instead, she’s better known as the “AstroNut.” In 2007, after her relationship with fellow astronaut William Oefelein ended and he began seeing Colleen Shipman, Nowak wanted revenge. Allegedly wearing an adult diaper, she packed a load of weapons and supplies as she drove 900 miles to confront Shipman in Orlando, Florida, at the airport. Nowak managed to pepper-spray Shipman, who managed to get away and call the cops. In 2009, Nowak, as part of a plea deal, received one year's probation and 2 days in jail that she already served. She was also demoted by the Navy and got an “other than honorable discharge.”

#60: Trad-Karen
The rise of tradwives in recent years has been strange. On one hand, they’re living the life they want. On the other, well…there’s Lilly Gaddis. In 2024, she posted a cooking video. But instead of talking about how much salt to add, she goes on a misogynistic, racist, and expletive rant about “gold diggers.” Somehow, making it even worse, Gaddis casually throws in a racial slur. After the internet was awash with outrage, the video found its way to Rophe of the Carolinas, her employers, who promptly fired her. Did Gaddis hold her hands up and apologize? Of course not. Instead, she called people “sick” for getting her fired. Then, the tradwife showed her arrogance by pretending to apologize, only to mock people.

#59: Canada Karen
Canada has a reputation for being filled with nice people. Then, there’s Kelly Pocha breaking that mold. In 2018, a group of men were trying to enjoy their meals at Denny’s in Lethbridge, Alberta. Suddenly, Pocha turned her head around and began yelling at them and uttered violent threats. At one point, she had to be restrained by her husband. Pocha also claimed they weren’t Canadian and told them to go back to their countries. While it shouldn’t matter, each of the men are Canadian citizens. Pocha did apologize for her racist behavior, but also claimed she was apparently provoked. Police investigated and Pocha’s employer, Cranbrook Dodge, immediately fired her.

#58: In-N-Out Legal Trouble
In 2022, Arine Kim and Elliot Ha were at an In-N-Out restaurant in San Ramon, California and got a hate crime along with their fries. The duo were digging in and recording their review when Jordan Krah’s disembodied voice began spewing racist and homophobic comments and slurs at them. Like a menacing Casper, Krah threatened to fight Ha outside. Kim tried to continue the video like a trooper, only for Krah to stand outside and watch them through the glass, putting them both off. The good workers at the restaurant walked the pair to their car to make sure they were safe. When the video went viral, internet sleuths managed to track down Krah’s identity. He was arrested and charged with hate crimes.

#57: Nursing Racism
On the whole, nurses are underappreciated, even though they’re the backbone of the medical industry. Then there’s Ryane Oliva, who breaks the mold for all the wrong reasons. In 2015, she was recorded uttering vulgar insults against Native Americans, then finishing with a smug expression. Well, that look would soon be scrubbed from her face. The video and other clips and posts from Oliva quickly drew the ire of the internet, especially with Native Americans. After discovering she was a nurse at the Monument Health Rapid City Hospital in South Dakota, they set up a Facebook page, requesting she be fired and arranged a demonstration. However, before the protest, the hospital publicly fired Oliva and stated they stood against racism.

#56: Petty Person Petty
In 2023, Anthony Gibson was hanging out with friends and doing some fishing in Newnan, Georgia. But then, for the third time of the day, a white person sticks their nose in. Pretending to be nice with cloudy overtones of racism, Tanya Petty questions where the group lives since the lake is only for use by residents. However, Gibson lived there. When Petty didn’t immediately get her way, she switched tactics by playing the victim. She denied Gibson permission to film her and threatened him by saying she would take down his license plate number. When Petty’s employer, wellness company Sea Glass Therapy, heard about it, they publicly fired her as an independent contractor.

#55: Caren the Karen
In 2018, police in Tenafly, New Jersey, stopped a vehicle after noticing its registration had lapsed. The cops had no idea what they were in for when Caren Turner arrived to collect her daughter, who was using the car. She quickly pulled out the “Do you know who I am?” card by making it clear she was a commissioner for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. After tossing in she was a friend of the mayor and that the pulled-over women were students at prestigious schools, Turner also belittled and swore at the officers. For some sweet revenge, the department released the footage. After resigning from the Port Authority, Turner was also fined $1,500 by the Ethics Commission.

#54: Dior Disaster
As creative director at Dior, John Galliano had the fashion world at his feet. But that was before he got intoxicated and went on an antisemitic rant, not once, but twice. In 2011, shortly before Paris Fashion Week, a video of Galliano emerged of him saying he loved Adolf Hitler and wished violence against others. After this, another woman came forward with similar accusations concerning a 2010 incident. On top of being fired by Dior, the disgraced designer was also found guilty of his tirade and fined €6,000 in suspended fines. In 2013, Galliano sued Dior for unfair dismissal. Unsurprisingly, he lost and had to pay the defendants a symbolic €1 each.

#53: Utah Karen
In an ideal world, every neighbor would be a good egg. Sadly, you have people like Kathryn Smith, who has continually terrorized her neighborhood in Midvale, Utah. In 2023, for months, she targeted one family by screaming racial slurs at them, messing with their vehicles, and even threatening to feed their child to her cats. Yikes. Smith was recorded multiple times behaving inexcusably. According to the family's lawyer, there had been 81 incidents of recorded terrible behavior by Smith. When all the footage got out – you might be shocked to know(!) – that Smith had outstanding warrants, one for harassing another family! Even though she was arrested, Smith continued her campaign. So, in 2024, the family issued a lawsuit against her.

#52: Hollywood Horror
In 2020, Natosha Lawson was working as a security guard at a Pavilions supermarket in West Hollywood, California. Instead of getting to enjoy a quiet shift, she was alerted to an argument in the parking lot. When she arrived, Kashmire Duran turned her ire towards Lawson. She threw a bottle at the guard, attacked her, and even bit her finger, all while Duran uttered racial slurs. Eventually, Duran’s father dragged her into the car and tried to get away. However, they were blocked from doing so. Duran continued yelling obscenities inside the vehicle, at one point reaching a new low by throwing dog food on the ground and using more slurs. Duran was arrested and charged for her deplorable actions.

#51: Skirt Shamer
In 2024, Avery Leroy was with friends at a restaurant in St. George, Utah. Suddenly, she felt cold hands touch her and pull on her skirt. Leroy then saw the icy mitts belonged to Ida Ann Lorenzo. During the confrontation, Lorenzo flashed her ID badge, told them she worked for the state, and said she would call CPS if Leroy’s skirt didn’t stop exposing her. In reality, the student had shorts underneath. After seeing the clip online, Lorenzo called the police, even claiming bystanders applauded her for her actions! However, once they got the whole story, she was arrested and charged with battery. To top off the justice cake with a karmic cherry, Lorenzo was also fired from the Utah Attorney General’s Office.

#50: Low Battery Meltdown
Getting a low phone battery is annoying, sure, but launching into a racist tirade against someone that has nothing to do with that…well, that’s bonkers. In November 2022, a video emerged of an Uber driver getting a load of abuse from a customer. With footage taken from the worker and by a witness, we see the entitled woman yelling at the guy about her battery and wanting a charger. To make her behavior worse, she uttered multiple racial slurs at the driver, sparking gasps from the witness. The police interviewed the driver. However, he didn’t issue a formal complaint. Uber then announced the woman was banned from the platform. Delightful.

#49: Tube Slow
On England’s London Underground, there’s a list of unspoken rules. Don’t talk loudly, don’t speak to strangers to be friendly, and don’t eat smelly stuff. There’s also a written rule about not spitting racist vitriol that one Ken ignored. In 2020, he was yelling aggressive abuse at other passengers like “this is my home” and other such ridiculous things. He even referred to non-white people as his “pets.” Gross. As the tube stops, a group of black guys goes to leave. However, Ken tries to intimidate them. Suddenly, one of the guys spins and punches him, knocking the now-unconscious Ken to the floor in a heap. While cheers erupted from the carriage, some people put Ken in the recovery position.

#48: No Cruz Control
It might not come as a surprise to anyone, but even politicians can be complete Karens. In March 2022, Texas Senator Ted Cruz was running late and ended up missing his flight from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Montana. Instead of handling it like an adult, he argued with the staff for his poor timekeeping, even reportedly whipping out the “Do you know who I am?” card. In the end, the police had to be called to calm Cruz down. Another US politician who hates being told what to do is Amanda Chase. After refusing to wear a mask during the Virginia Senate sessions in February 2021, she had to sit in a plexiglass box of shame. Pretty humiliating.

#47: New Jersey Slurs
When Tameka Bordeaux walked out of her Bayonne, New Jersey, home in January 2021, she was quickly greeted by the sight of a mail carrier being chastised by Claudia Emanuele, who was complaining about some late post. Reportedly attempting to be a good samaritan, she went to help. But as soon as she walked over, Emanuele erupted with a litany of racial slurs at her. Bordeaux tried to simmer down the situation, but that didn’t work. Even walking away had no effect as Emanuele followed and kept using abusive word. Emanuele only stopped with the abuse when Bordeaux went into a store and after two other people had intervened. Bordeaux ultimately handed the video to the cops, who arrested Emanuele.

#46: Buffalo Bigot
In May 2022, Katelynn Bolden, Brandon Hawkins, and Erica Seymour were part of the Behavioral Health Team for the Buffalo Police, which specialized in cases with mental health incidents. The trio watched a video of a black police officer being pulled over by a white officer, highlighting racial profiling, before showing the clip to their captain, Amber Beyer. She reportedly launched into a racially-charged 20-minute rant slating black people. Citing other incidents of her racism, including claims she repeatedly used grim slurs, the three spoke to Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia, who removed her from managing the department. Then, in December 2022, the trio initiated a $15 million lawsuit against Beyer, who was quickly suspended from her role.

#45: Texas Tirade
One common factor of Karens is making sure everyone knows their vile thoughts, even if no one requested them. In August 2022, four Indian-American women were going to their cars after being at a restaurant in Plano, Texas. But then Esmerelda Upton came out of the shadows and decided she was going to go on a racist rant. Fearing for their safety, the women filmed Upton’s outburst. She told the four how much she hated Indians, issued threats of violence, and assaulted them. It was bonkers. On top of being arrested on several charges, Upton also had to contend with not one but two lawsuits from her victims.

#44: Taped Up
Sometimes, people come together to get justice. In 2021, on a flight from Philadelphia to Miami, a drunk Maxwell Berry was causing havoc as he groped two female flight attendants. When a male attendant confronted him, things kicked off. After spouting verbal abuse, Berry attempted to attack the man, but it didn’t work out for him. The attendant, cool as a cucumber, restrained Berry easily. Other passengers got involved and helped by tapping the unruly Berry to his chair. Genius. He was arrested when the plane landed. On top of his cinematic embarrassment going viral, Berry faced charges of three counts of assault. He pled guilty and received sixty days in prison with one year of supervised release.

#43: The Anti-Influencer

Even if you’re just walking down the sidewalk, apparently, that’s enough to summon a Karen from the Shadow Realm to torment you. In December 2022, TikToker Bianca Figueroa said she was doing just that when Sandra Jean Allen was walking in the other direction, so the influencer attempted to get out of her way. After she did, Allen had to escalate the situation with racist insults. When confronted, Figueroa claimed Allen got physical with her, which in turn caused the TikToker to defend herself and her family. Allen proceeded to scream for help, for some reason, then threatened to call ICE on Figueroa…yikes. After throwing in cringey phrases like “are you triggered?”, the altercation got police called to the scene. They were eventually shown the footage, leading Allen to be later arrested for her behavior.

#42: Escalation Karen

Enjoying the warm weather in March 2022 in Bristol, England, Faye Johnson and her three children decided to paddleboard on a river. However, a group of tweens was enjoying their own entertainment, albeit inappropriate and reckless, as they launched rocks and mud balls at folk on the water. Johnson erupted with rage when she and her kids had items lobbed at them. She grabbed her paddle and struck Antwon Forrest on the head, leaving a nasty injury. After the police originally failed to react, which caused much public outrage, they eventually arrested Johnson for her assault. In January 2023, she was handed a four-month suspended sentence and told to give Forrest £500 in compensation.

#41: Walmart Ken

Usually, we see Karens as customers launching a tirade of irrational abuse against employees. Well, not this time! Instead, it’s reversed! In November 2022, an unnamed customer was trying to leave Walmart with a cart of paid items. Instead, he was blocked by an unidentified employee. For context, the worker was white, and the customer was black. The employee demanded to see the receipt before spitting racial insults and slurs. The worker then began taking items from the cart. This caused the two to get into a ruckus over the products. Afterward, the customer issued a formal complaint with Walmart, who later announced the racist employee was no longer working for them.

#40: South African Karen

In 2016, in Johannesburg, South Africa, estate agent Vicki Momberg’s car was broken into. When the police arrived, instead of them being able to help solve this crime, they became victims of another. Momberg launched into a racist tirade against the officers and emergency service dispatchers, even throwing in apartheid-era slurs 48 times. So, she was arrested for crimen injuria, which concerns impairing another’s dignity. In 2018, Momberg became the first South African to be sentenced to jail for such a crime. She was originally handed a sentence of three years, with one suspended. She appealed the decision but failed. By December 2019, Momberg was released from prison and hopefully learned from the experience.

#39: Pizza the Problem

It’s really bizarre how some Karens are so triggered by hearing languages other than their own. In February 2023, this was certainly the case when Rita Bellew went into Amy’s Pizzeria in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. She lost her marbles upon hearing the TV behind the counter speak in Spanish. Bellew spewed a litany of racial insults toward the employees and owners of the restaurant. She then demanded a refund as she wasn't handing her cash to an “illegal immigrant,” in her view. She then claimed that people who called her racist were racist themselves…right. Afterward, Bellew was charged with hate crimes. And to make her more annoyed, hopefully, the pizza shop has reportedly seen an increase in business since her racist rant.

#38: Doorbell Degenerate

For over a year, the Suarez family in St. Louis, Missouri, was harassed by Judy Kline. But, seemingly, it wasn’t until her Ring-recorded exploits went viral that anything was done by the authorities. She often turned up at their property and issued racially charged and violent threats, claiming it was her house. But that’s not all. At one point, she even broke into the building and threatened one member of the family with a hammer. According to reports, Kline’s family had owned the property decades ago but sold it. For some reason, she decided this meant she could still control what someone else does with their home. In February 2023, Kline was arrested and charged for her barrage of crimes against the Suarez family.

#37: Hot, Beautiful, & Unemployed

The unearned confidence of a white Karen is truly a sight to behold. In October 2018, two unidentified black women were in the parking lot of a block of apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina, as they awaited help with a car problem. All of a sudden, a seemingly intoxicated Susan Westwood descends on the duo, proclaiming she is “hot” and “beautiful.” She then rants with tones of racism as she questions why the two are there, with plenty of cursing. Even after being asked to leave, Westwood continued harassing them. So, the women called the cops. Afterward, Westwood lost her job with cable company Spectrum. Then, in 2019, she was sentenced to 12 months of probation for her various charges.

#36: Snow Day

Apparently, like Karens, Kens regularly can’t cope with putting a piece of cloth over their mouth for a bit of time to protect others. In 2022, at a ski resort in Ontario, Canada, one snowboarder wasn’t happy with the business’s wear-a-mask rule. The guy kept trying to get on the ski lift, but the security staff repeatedly stopped him. The unfortunate patient skiers had to watch as Ken's actions slowly ate into their slope time. After the man tries to fight out of security's grasp, the police arrive, and the crowd cheers as this drama finishes. The man was escorted from the resort, but no charges were filed. However, he did get the embarrassment of this video going online.

#35: Takeout Freakout

In the modern world, online reviews are vital. A business can be successful or collapse on that mark out of five. Well, David DeMerchant phoned the restaurant Frank D’s to order takeout. However, he was put on hold. So, DeMerchant let the world know about his bad experience. Sadly for him, the owner added some details he conveniently left out. His server actually had a seizure while on the phone with DeMerchant. He then arrived at the restaurant to pick up his order, ignoring the ambulance outside. When they offered to make it there, DeMerchant refused, went home, and wrote this misleading review. Now, he has to live with the shame of getting publicly called out.

#34: Miss-Kick

After having a few drinks, people tend to get an inflated ego. In 2021 at the Linksters Taproom in Florida, one patron thought more highly of his fighting skills than he should have. In the video, we see him yelling at a guy on the street. As the guy approaches, the patron goes to showcase what he’s learned from watching three UFC fights with a roundhouse kick. Only… he misses, big time. He pretty much takes himself out of the battle with some instant karma. Various other bar folk descend on the scene and separate the duo. However, the patron tries to punch the guy to save face… it doesn’t work. On a side note, the lights on the tree outside are really mesmerizing.

#33: IHOP Patience

Waitstaff has to deal with a lot of annoying and unnecessary stress from customers. Honestly, they should be paid so much more than what they get. Especially this IHOP employee in 2022. One sneaky customer recorded one man having a meltdown at the restaurant. This Ken decided that slow service was the thing that tipped him over. After arguing with Ken and getting abused, she tells him to leave and walks off. Like a rational person, he picks up his glass and throws it on the floor, causing pieces to fly around and hit other people. Yikes. Quickly, security descends on Ken and forces him out of the restaurant with plenty of shame.

#32: Collier Karen

Educators are often seen as one of the noblest and most trustworthy groups. But then there’s Patricia Schmidt, who smudges that reputation and then some. In August 2021, she was an Exceptional Student Education Specialist at an elementary school in Naples, Florida. According to the unidentified mother, she and her children were walking on the pavement down a road. Schmidt, who was driving, beeped her horn before she rolled down her window as she thought the two were trespassing. She embarked into a curse-filled racist and ableist rant, screaming multiple slurs at them. With all the negative publicity, the Collier County School District initially put Schmidt on leave before they fired her for her disgusting behavior.

#31:Sheep in the Bank

Once again, we have someone who has a tantrum over being asked to wear a facemask inside a business. In March 2021, in Galveston, Texas, Terry Lynn Wright refused to comply at a bank. So, they asked her to leave, which she declined. With no other option, the staff called the cops to have Wright removed. When the police arrived, Wright tried to tell the officer about the law. Yikes. After getting physical with the cop, Wright was arrested. In the process, she tried claiming it was “police brutality,” but multiple witnesses hilariously disagreed, prompting her to call them “sheep.” A week later, to the surprise of no one, Wright had a similar incident at another location. She was later sentenced to 12 days in jail.

#30: Key Fob Kelly

Even just trying to get home apparently ruffles the Karens’ feathers. In October 2018, D’Arreion Toles was trying to enter the apartment complex where he lived in St. Louis, Missouri. In his way was a white woman, Hilary Brooke Mueller, armed with a tiny dog, who had a problem with the black man trying to get to his residence. Acting as though she owned the building, she demanded proof that he lived there, dabbling in some racial profiling. Thirty minutes after this incident, a police officer sent by Mueller spoke to Toles in his apartment. Yikes. When the video went viral, Mueller’s employers weren’t too happy. The real estate company Tribeca-STL fired her publicly for her stunt.

#29: Radio Karen

Oh, boy, another incident of a white American snapping when hearing a non-English language spoken. In July 2020, a group of landscapers was working in the street in Nashua, New Hampshire. Suddenly, they were accosted by conservative Donald Trump-loving radio host Dianna Ploss, who recorded the incident. She laid into them for speaking Spanish, then accused some of the workers of being in the States illegally. A passerby stepped in to confront Ploss. But she only made more racial statements and called him a “social justice warrior” for wearing a facemask. According to George Russell, who owned the radio station WSMN Broadcasting, he received thousands of complaints about Ploss’s actions. So, he dropped her show from their slate.

#28: Cocktail Catastrophe

Many of us have had the joy-slash-trauma of having too much to drink on a night out. But not many of us will descend into a racist rant. Then again, we’re not Justine Morrison - and admittedly, we don’t know how much she drank - but reports did say she threw a drink in January 2023. In fact, she was removed from a cocktail bar in Halifax, England, after causing a scene. Outside, Morrison decided being ejected wasn’t enough. She decided to go on a racist rant at the doorman, Dally Whylie, spitting her disgust at him as her tirade was recorded. Not only was she cautioned by the police for her hate crime and got permanently banned from the bar, but Morrison was also fired from her part-time accounting job for the Shine Theatre Arts.

#27: Horsing Around
In 2013, Christine McGrail and her daughter Olivia decided to wait in the drive-thru at McDonald’s in Whitefield, England. Sounds normal so far. Except they were on horses. When they were refused service for safety reasons and told to go inside the building to order, McGrail decided that meant letting Olivia take her pony inside as she waited outside with her own horse. Confused and disgusted customers were soon more grossed out when the horse defecated in the restaurant. Lovely(!) But it’s okay, as McGrail later claimed that everyone found it funny, which is doubtful, but especially not hilarious to the staff who had to clean the mess. McGrail was fined £90 and was banned from the McDonald’s property.

#26: Airplane Assault

It’s strange the trajectory some minor celebrities can go through in their lives. Take Patricia Cornwall. She was an NFL cheerleader and did a little acting in the past. Then, in December 2021, she was videoed attacking an older man on a plane. Cornwall was apparently enraged that Russell Miller wasn’t wearing a facemask as he was eating and drinking. While he didn’t help calm down the situation, instead calling her some choice phrases, Cornwall’s unhinged reaction was something else. She struck, scratched, and spat on Miller. Thankfully, the flight staff managed to separate the two. However, Cornwall was arrested by the FBI after landing and charged with several crimes for her bizarre behavior.
