Where You Know the Cast of Do Revenge From
Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for Where You Know the Cast of “Do Revenge” From
For this list, we’ll be looking at the most notable projects the stars of this Netflix movie have appeared in.
Which of these actors is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
#10: Maia Reficco
She’s Montana in “Do Revenge”, but for North American audiences Maia Reficco is best known for playing spunky athlete Noa Olivar in the “Pretty Little Liars” spin-off series, “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”. The show premiered in July of 2022, and was renewed in September. But while Maia is a relative newcomer on North American screens, Latin audiences will likely know her from the Nickelodeon Latin America series “Kally's Mashup”. Reficco notably played the titular character on both seasons of the show’s run from 2017 to 2019.
#9: Paris Berelc
If you grew up watching the Disney XD Channel in the mid-2010s then you probably recognize Paris Berelc as Skylar Storm from “Mighty Med” and “Lab Rats: Elite Force”. But for the rest of us, seeing her as Meghan in “Do Revenge” is more likely to trigger some Netflix shows in our mind’s eye. Indeed, “Alexa & Katie” saw Berelc as Alexa for all three seasons of the show’s run on the streamer. It’s also possible you know her from “The Crew” where she appeared alongside Kevin James - although Netflix canceled that series after just one season.
#8: Jonathan Daviss
Jonathan Daviss has done a few things here and there since breaking into the business in 2013, but one project in particular stands out. So if you’re watching “Do Revenge” and wondering where you know the guy playing Elliot from, we’d bet good money that it’s from a certain show called “Outer Banks.” He portrays Pope Heyward on the Netflix teen series, which aired its first season back in 2020 and its second the following year. As of 2022, it’s been renewed for a third season of adolescent action, drama, and mystery.
#7: Talia Ryder
Talia Ryder plays Eleanor’s love interest, Gabbi, in “Do Revenge”. And if she looks familiar it could be because you recently finished watching another 2022 Netflix release called “Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between.” Ryder had a lead role in the romantic drama, starring opposite Jordan Fisher. If that movie doesn’t ring any bells but Ryder still looks familiar, maybe you saw “Matilda the Musical” on Broadway in 2015. Her performance as Hortensia in the stage production is considered by many to be her big break.
#6: Rish Shah
Rish Shah didn’t land his first credited onscreen role until 2017, so he hadn’t been in a lot of things when he was cast in the role of Russ - Drea’s love interest in “Do Revenge”. But while his IMDb page isn’t very long yet, it does show that he had a spot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In other words, he’s been seen by a whole lot of eyeballs - maybe even yours. Shah played Kamran, a character from the Disney+ miniseries “Ms. Marvel” that the titular protagonist is into.
#5: Alisha Boe
Were you at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2022? Or maybe you attended the festival in Cannes later in the year? If so, then you could have seen Alisha Boe as Lila in Jesse Eisenberg’s well-received film, “When You Finish Saving the World”. However, while there are certainly some who watched Boe’s performance in that, it’s not necessarily her most popular project. Before she brought Tara to life in “Do Revenge,” she starred as Jessica Davis in the popular and controversial Netflix series “13 Reasons Why.”
#4: Sarah Michelle Gellar
In “Do Revenge,” Sarah Michelle Gellar is the Headmaster at the school where much of the revenging and back-stabbing takes place. We assume that for Geller, it all seemed pretty low-stakes. After all, she once played a teen who was literally stabbing vampires in the chest and trying to keep the world safe from the forces of evil. But if “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” wasn’t your thing, you probably know Gellar from the hit 1999 teen movie “Cruel Intentions.” Her character in that drama, Kathryn, would probably be proud of main characters Eleanor and Drea. More recently, the actress had a cameo in the series finale of “The Big Bang Theory.”
#3: Austin Abrams
Austin Abrams plays Max, one of the people Drea and Eleanor are attempting to exact revenge upon in the Netflix flick. However, on “The Walking Dead” Abrams, as Ron Anderson, was the one seeking revenge on Rick. We won’t spoil how that ended, but it’s worth checking out. Those who don’t know him from his time on that series might instead recognize him as Kate Pearson’s truly awful ex-boyfriend Marc on “This Is Us”. He was also the much more sympathetic good guy Ethan, who fell in love with Kat on “Euphoria”.
#2: Maya Hawke
Maya Hawke plays Eleanor - one of the two lead revenge doers in “Do Revenge”. Now, actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke know her primarily as their daughter. But people who aren’t Hawke’s mom and dad are probably more familiar with her via her role as Robin Buckley in the ridiculously popular Netflix show “Stranger Things”. She also had a small but memorable part playing “Flowerchild” in Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-nominated film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. Plus, fans of Louisa May Alcott’s works might remember that Hawke was Jo March in the BBC’s “Little Women” miniseries.
Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
Ava Capri
Before Playing Carissa in “Do Revenge,” She Was Lucy in “Love, Victor”
Sophie Turner
Three Words: “Game of Thrones”
Rachel Matthews
Matthews Isn’t Scary, but Her Films “Happy Death Day” & “Happy Death Day 2U” Are
Eliza Bennett
Bennett Played Amanda Carrington on the Final Two Seasons of “Dynasty” on the CW
Francesca Reale
Yes, That’s Heather the Lifeguard From “Stranger Things” Season Three
#1: Camila Mendes
In “Do Revenge,” Camila Mendes’ character Drea teams up with Maya Hawke’s Eleanor to get some payback. Shockingly, this is only Mendes’ 6th movie credit, with her very first one dating back to 2018. However, she made her screen debut the year before, in 2017, and it’s her work in that project for which she’s best known. We’re talking about her portrayal of Veronica Lodge in “Riverdale”, the teen show that puts a unique spin on the world brought to life in the Archie comics. You might also know Mendes as the dancing hotel employee in the music video for “Side Effects” by the Chainsmokers.
