Every year, it feels like Disney finds a new way to pull us back to Florida. In 2017, we all wanted to be first in line to check out Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now with Toy Story Land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 30, we’re all eager to take another trip to Disney World.
The design of Toy Story Land works on multiple levels. The towering blocks and play sets are crafted to make visitors feel as if they’ve been shrunken down to the size of toys. Think the retired Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: Movie Set Adventure, but on a more epic scale. In addition to the fan favorite Toy Story Midway Mania!, the land will also include several brand new attractions that we can’t wait to check out.
3. Alien Swirling Saucers
Resembling Master’s Junkyard Jamboree’s in Cars Land, this ride revolves from the green aliens from the claw machine. With their flying saucers pulling a toy rocket, the aliens take guests on a spin through outer space. Now more than ever, we wish to be chosen by the almighty claw.
2. Woody’s Lunch Box
Woody’s Lunch Box is kind of a misleading title, as it’s actually Andy’s Lunch Box. Woody wouldn’t even need a lunch box since toys can’t eat, but we’re getting way off-topic. The important thing is that this restaurant will serve up old-fashioned soda floats, as well as a variety of meals with a Toy Story twist. Huh, we wonder if they’ll have a Hamm Sandwich with Mashed Mr. Potato Head. That sounds almost as appetizing as a trip to Pizza Planet!
1. Slinky Dog Dash
Who knew that Slinky could stretch so far? This family-friendly roller coaster is modeled after the elongated canine, taking guests on a wild ride. The coaster is expected to have a thrill level on par with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, albeit with a few distinctive twists.
