#5 Fire Tablet
You can definitely expect Amazon to move a huge amount of their Fire tablets over the course of the Prime Day event. Why? Well, since not as many consumers, compared to a few years ago, see the value of a tablet as a major investment, Amazon has stayed competitive with its rock bottom prices. They’ve made it easy to justify adding a Fire tablet to your list of devices by making the cost so low that you don’t think twice about it. 2019 saw the company offering deep discounts across a variety of models, slashing the prices by 30 to 40% and even offering two-for-one deals on the entry level Fire 7.
#4 Fire TVs
While Amazon isn’t making their own televisions (yet), they’ve partnered with some of the biggest and most trusted names in the industry to produce Fire TV Edition televisions. In case they aren’t already on your radar, these Insignia and Toshiba televisions come with Amazon’s Fire TV technology built-in, meaning that you don’t need to purchase a streaming stick or device to access your streaming content. Between the two brands, Fire TV Edition televisions come in sizes ranging from 24†to 55†and up to 4K resolution in the larger models. In the lead-up to the event, Amazon has already launched a Prime Day Exclusive Deal of 29% off the 50 inch Fire TV Edition Insignia. Based on deals from years past, we expect more to follow.
#3 Kindle E-Reader
If there’s one thing you can count on come Prime Day, it’s a reduction in prices across all models of Amazon’s e-readers. After all, the Kindle line has models to meet most needs and budgets. The Kindle Kids Edition even comes preloaded with age-appropriate reading material. And now even the Kindle entry-level model comes with a built-in front light. Last year, we saw deals on everything from the basic Kindle all the way up to Amazon’s top of the line Kindle Oasis. The latter actually saw its price slashed by roughly 37.5% and we hope to see similar discounts this year. If you’re the sort of reader who goes through books quickly, you may also want to sign up for the Kindle Unlimited subscription service, which is also likely to be discounted for Prime Day.
#2 Fire TV Devices
While a Fire TV Edition television is certainly a nice addition to anyone’s home, not everyone is looking to purchase an entirely new television. Maybe you already have a TV that’s high quality, but just not smart enough for current home entertainment standards. Amazon’s Fire TV sticks are already among the cheapest streaming devices on the market, but the company typically manages to drop the price even lower during Prime Day. If your streaming style is simple and to the point, you may be satisfied with the Fire TV Stick Lite, but the FireTV Stick 4K packs the most power without breaking the bank. The Fire TV, however, is the ultimate hands-free streaming media player. Expect discounts across the board!
