What show are you looking forward to watching the most? Let us know in the comments below.

#10: “Zootopia +”
Release Date: TBA 2022

During Disney+ day, the company confirmed that a slew of new series would be coming directly to their streaming service. The line up includes shows based on animated flicks such as “Moana”. Next year, we’ll get a series based on “Zootopia”. This hit movie was set in a fictional metropolis where animals of all kinds reside and try to live in harmony. Fan favorite characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will also be making their small screen debuts. Although we don’t know much about the plot, there’s plenty of stories that can be told in the big animal city of Zootopia. The variety of plots and loveable characters should make “Zootopia +” a welcome addition to Disney+.

#9: “Pam & Tommy”
Release Date: February 2, 2022

This upcoming Hulu series will take viewers all the way back to 1995 to give them an up close and personal look into Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s tumultuous marriage. Lily James and Sebastian Stan will star as the titular couple. The series will also feature Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman. During the show, we’ll see Anderson and Lee deal with the aftermath of their infamous home video scandal. Both talented actors have experience playing iconic characters. And every sneak peek of the cast behind the scenes show that they bear uncanny resemblances to their real-life counterparts. We’re anticipating that this miniseries will be a wild must-watch.

#8: “Wednesday”
Release Date: TBA 2022

She’s creepy and she’s kooky and she’s coming to Netflix. Wednesday Addams is getting her own standalone series thanks to the king of fantastical horror, Tim Burton. Burton will bring his signature German Expressionism and gothic style to the frightfully fun setting while directing this series. “You’s” Jenna Ortega will lead the series by playing the iconic teen. The show is sure to bring both laughs and scares when it premieres sometime in 2022. While exact details are still being kept in the crypt, we know Wednesday will have to solve a creepy mystery. Her journey should make for a haunting good time.

#7: “Queen Charlotte”
Release Date: TBA 2022

In 2020, this Netflix period-drama quickly became one of the platform's hottest new shows. Produced by television titan Shonda Rhimes, the romantic epic is adapted from a series of novels by Chris Van Dusen. Since audiences went wild for season one, they’ll probably love the news that the “Bridgerton'' universe will be expanding in 2022. The upcoming “Queen Charlotte” spinoff will follow one of the story's most popular characters. Since the character was inspired by a historical figure, there should be plenty of material for the writers to draw from. If it hits its expected arrival window around Christmas 2022, it’ll be the perfect gift for fans.

#6: “Andor”
Release Date: TBA 2022

Six years after appearing as Cassian Andor, Diego Luna is back for another action-packed galactic adventure. Taking place five years before the events of “Rogue One”, the plot will dive into Cassian’s life as a spy. And there’a a chance he may also run into a few of the characters we saw in the film. Since the “Star Wars” Universe was a turbulent and tense place to live before “Rogue One”, Cassian’s adventures should be thrilling and gripping. His quests may also answer questions we have about “Star Wars” canon. We’re looking forward to going undercover with the complex and daring Cassian next year.

#5: “Avatar: The Last Airbender”
Release Date: TBA 2022

To say the 2010 live action film adaptation of this animated series left much to be desired would be an understatement. Neither the epic story or elemental fighting translated well to the film. Fortunately, “The Last Airbender” is getting a second chance in a live-action universe. Netflix has been working to bring exciting talent to the series since 2018. Actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee of “Kim’s Convenience” fame will play the wise, powerful and funny Uncle Iroh. The character’s ferocious Fire Lord brother will be played by Daniel Dae Kim. The legendary actor just so happened to voice General Fong in the animated series. While the expectations for this live-action series are high, the long production cycle and great actors may bring honor to this show.

#4: “She-Hulk”
Release Date: TBA 2022

A very green lawyer might lead one of the biggest smash hits next year. In 2022, “She-Hulk” will get her own television treatment with an absolutely stacked all star cast. “Orphan Black” actress Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters. Since she’s Bruce Banner’s cousin, Mark Ruffalo will make an appearance. Tim Roth, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Jameela Jamil will also join them on screen. All of these actors will appear in a show that will balance comedy, legal drama and maybe a few superpowered action scenes. “She-Hulk” will join an exciting line-up of Marvel series like “Secret Invasion” in 2022.

#3: “Obi-Wan Kenobi”
Release Date: TBA 2022

Grab your lightsabers and get ready to join this Jedi on another adventure. This self titled series about this beloved “Star Wars” character is coming to Disney + in 2022. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will reprise their roles as Obi-Wan and Darth Vader respectively. The show will pick up after the events of “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith”. Considering how dark the movie got, we’re expecting rich and dramatic scenes. We also know the series will look good because the production will use the same impressive technology used on the set of “The Mandalorian”. And if you still want more new “Star Wars” content, Disney+ has got you covered with an “Ahsoka” spinoff too.

#2: “House of the Dragon”
Release Date: TBA 2022

While fans weren’t exactly happy with how “Game of Thrones” ended, maybe they’ll be more happy with a prequel series. HBO is expanding its big live-action fantasy franchise with the upcoming “House of the Dragon”. The series will show fans how the Targaryen civil war kicked off. We’ll expect lots of blonde hair, drama and at least a couple of dragons flying by. The series will feature fantastic talents like Matt Smith as one of the Targaryens. We’ll also see actors like Paddy Considine and Olivia Cooke in lead roles. By the end of the season, HBO may spark excitement about the Targaryens and the franchise as a whole once more.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

#1: “The Lord of the Rings”
Release Date: September 2022

A little over two decades after a phenomenal live-action “Lord of the Rings” movie premiered, a fantasy epic set in the same universe is heading to Amazon Prime. With a whopping $465 million budget for the first season, the show could become the most expensive TV series ever. That gigantic investment should give us a breathtaking and awe inspiring view at the lands and beings that reside in Middle Earth. The world will also be full with performances from actors such as Cynthia Addai-Robinson and Robert Aramayo in yet to be revealed roles. Since a second season has already been confirmed, it looks like Amazon is happy with where the show is going. Hopefully, the fans will be just as enthusiastic when the series drops next fall.
