Every PS5 Game Confirmed, Leaked and Rumoured | MojoPlays
VOICE OVER: Riccardo Tucci WRITTEN BY: Ty Richardson
Welcome to MojoPlays, and this is our list of all the games we know or suspect are coming to the PlayStation 5! While the release of a new generation of consoles is exciting, one cannot help but wonder what games there are to look forward to. Sure, it feels a tad empty right now, but these are just a handful of titles to keep on your radar.
Confirmed & Rumoured PS5 Titles

Welcome to MojoPlays, and this is our list of Confirmed & Rumoured PS5 Titles! While the release of a new generation of consoles is exciting, one cannot help but wonder what games there are to look forward to. Sure, it feels a tad empty right now, but these are just a handful of titles to keep on your radar.

“Battlefield 6”

Electronic Arts really threw us a bit of a curveball. In late October 2019, the game-publishing conglomerate announced that “Apex Legends” would be their shooter for 2020. Alongside this news, EA confirmed that a sixth “Battlefield” game was in development, but would not be released until 2021 or early 2022. One would think EA would turn “Battlefield 6” into a launch title (given their track record). However, DICE has gone through a couple of shake-ups between “Battlefield V’s” lukewarm reception and Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella taking over the studio’s Los Angeles branch. While it does seem like a long wait, perhaps these recent events are a sign that “Battlefield” will come back in a blaze of glory.

“Starfield” & “The Elder Scrolls VI”

Bethesda teased these two games back at E3 2018, and it told us absolutely nothing about them. Nonetheless, the two game has resurfaced recently as Bethesda has begun a massive hiring spree in order to get another one of their upcoming titles into full production. If the studio is shifting such a large amount of focus into another game, It’s got to be one of these games, though we know “Starfield” is scheduled to come out first. We’re just hoping these don’t turn out to be another “Fallout 76”...

Unannounced Bluepoint Game

The Studio behind the 2018 “Shadow of the Colossus Remake” has been hard at work on their next game, but their Twitter account has been extremely cryptic as of late. Our only hint is that Sony has said that the studio is “working on a big one right now”. Dozens of rumors claim they’re working on a remaster for “Demon’s Souls”. Allow us to throw a new contender in the ring - what if it’s a “Twisted Metal” remake? November 2020 will be the franchise’s twenty-fifth anniversary. A new game would be a wonderful way to celebrate! On top of that, PlayStation Productions is currently working on a “Twisted Metal” TV show. If they want to drive interest for the show, putting out a new game would make sense.

“Gods & Monsters”

Ubisoft has been very tight-lipped about their newest IP. We haven’t learned anything about “Gods & Monsters” since its reveal at E3 2019. So, what makes us so interested in the game? Well, Ubisoft seems to be doing some interesting things with the open world formula. Take “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey”, for example. In June 2019, the game introduced a story editor where players can create their own quests for other players. If the generic hero from the teaser is anything to go off of, “Gods & Monsters” could be an expanded version of this feature. Hopefully we’ll know more about it before next E3.

“Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Quarantine”

Along with “Gods & Monsters” and another entry on this list, “Rainbow Six: Quarantine” was delayed to 2020-2021 due to the terrible performance from “Ghost Recon: Breakpoint”. Although, a major leak in January 2020 revealed details about the game. Promotional materials surfaced on Reddit and revealed playable characters, weapons, locations, and unfortunately, microtransactions. Given that promotional materials are already being manufactured (and the leak is legit), there’s a chance that “Quarantine” could become a PS5 launch title. Or a cross-gen title, at the least.

“Watch_Dogs: Legion”

Originally scheduled for March 2020, the third “Watch Dogs” game was another delay victim brought on by “Breakpoint’s” poor reception. Regardless, that has not caused our excitement for the title to peter out. Continuing Ubisoft’s interest in open-world games, “Legion” is presenting a new idea where virtually any NPC can become a playable character. Each character will have their own sets of skills and abilities to help you accomplish missions. Should they die in combat, that’s it - they’re gone for the rest of your campaign! This concept was exactly what the “Watch Dogs” franchise has needed, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

“Godfall”

It’s the newest game announcement that has players curious. Developed by Counterplay and published by Gearbox, “Godfall” is a third-person “looter-slasher” where players explore fantastical worlds and fight powerful warriors. Announced at the 2019 Game Awards, “Godfall” is one of the very few titles confirmed to be coming to PS5. Rumors suggest the game will be shown off in greater detail at a PlayStation event scheduled in February. Regardless of when it shows, we’re eager to see what Counterplay has in store for us as we step into the next generation of gaming.
