#3: “Deadpool 2” Drops Hilarious Teaser Trailer

If for some strange reason you ever wanted to see Deadpool take on the identity of an iconic television painter, then we guess you’re in luck when it comes to our first entry. In a hilarious teaser trailer to promote his upcoming Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds’ Mr. Pool finds himself adorning the very recognizable garb of Bob Ross, the iconic instructional painter who appeared on PBS’ show “The Joy of Painting”. Of course, as one would expect, the teaser is hilarious, with Reynolds not only poking fun at the art of painting itself, but cramming it with a ton of raunchy jokes and sexual innuendo. But the trailer isn’t all just spoofs and goofs. Halfway through, the teaser shifts gears and shows us some high octane action scenes featuring the film’s stars, including Reynolds himself, Josh Brolin’s Cable, Brianna Hildebrand’s Teenage Warhead and Zazie Beetz’s Domino. Deadpool 2 is set for release June 1, 2018.
#2: Tom Cruise in the mix for Quentin Tarantino’s Charles Manson Movie
Tom Cruise just may be part of the most sought after film in Hollywood right now. According to Deadline, the A-list action star is one of the rumoured actors to be cast as the lead in Tarantino’s newest film, which is to be based on Charles Manson and the year 1969. Cruise joins a growing, albeit rumoured, list of actors potentially involved, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Samuel L. Jackson. The untitled film itself just may be more sought after than Cruise is for the role however. With Tarantino now a free agent after long-time collaborator Harvey Weinstein is out of the picture, the movie is currently in the middle of a giant bidding for its rights, with Sony, Paramount and Warner Bros, reportedly closest to landing it. Steppenwolf may be the villain of the Justice League movie, but the real bad guy to DC’s latest offering just may be the critics. With the latest DCEU installment set for release today, critics were finally able to publish their reviews, and most of them are ugly. Critics have been slamming the film, with some calling it a “misguided and chaotic mess”, and “a CGI yawn”. Warner Bros. may have anticipated the unfavourable opinions, as they extended the review embargo. Usually, the norm for studios is to lift embargoes a week or more before the film is set for release. In the case of Justice League, the ban was only lifted at 2:50AM, this Wednesday morning. Also, Rotten Tomatoes opted to hide the movie’s critical consensus from their site until 12:01 AM Thursday, the morning before the release, raising eyebrows as Warner Bros. is part owner of Fandango, RT’s parent company. Currently, the film sits at a disappointing 43 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
