Top 10 Best Prank Reactions In Jackass

Top 10 Best Prank Reactions In Jackass
VOICE OVER: Michael Petel WRITTEN BY: Nathan Sharp
These pranks will have you in stitches! For this list, we'll be looking at the greatest and most hilarious reactions to pranks found in the “Jackass” movies. Our countdown includes “Jackass: The Movie”, “Jackass Number Two”, “Jackass 3D”, and more!

#10: The Valentine

“Jackass Number Two” (2006)

The concept of this prank is so simple yet so hilarious. A fake Valentine card is placed on the hotel wall, proclaiming how much the writer loves the Jackass crew. As the victims get closer to read the increasingly smaller text, a spring-loaded boxing glove pops out and smacks them in the face. Perhaps the best part about this prank are Bam’s reactions. He is great at selling the deception to everyone else, and he always laughs when the glove pops out. However, he completely loses it when Wee Man stands on the chair, as he can’t believe that the idea actually worked. We can’t help but laugh along with him.

#9: Switcheroo

“Jackass Number Two” (2006)

Preston Lacy and Bam’s father Phil have similar builds, so Bam had the bright idea to have them switch places. They gently wake up Phil and replace him with a bearded Preston, who proceeds to wake up April. Her reactions are pure gold. She is initially annoyed at Preston’s handsiness and then confused with her husband’s possible change in appearance. But it’s dark, she can’t really tell. It’s not until Preston speaks that April realizes it’s someone else, and she screams and launches herself out of the bed. April’s reactions are typically great, but this one is something special. It’s the rapid cycle of emotions that really makes it.

#8: Rent a Car Crash Up Derby

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)

The first “Jackass” movie started off strong with this hilarious prank. Knoxville rents a car and takes it to a crash-up derby, where it proceeds to get utterly destroyed. He then returns the car to the shop, to the complete bewilderment of the employees. To their credit, the prank’s victims are very cool and level-headed about the ordeal. And luckily, their reactions, combined with Knoxville’s performance, produce a ton of comedy gold. Knoxville is on fire throughout the prank, playing a belligerent drunk who refuses to pay for the car. He also shows pride in bringing it back with a full tank of gas, prompting one of the greatest reactions in the movie.

#7: April Says the F-Word

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)

The “Jackass” show was hindered by being on MTV. Not only did the channel prohibit them from doing anything too dangerous (or too expensive), but it also censored all swearing. Luckily, they were given free reign with the movie, and Bam promised viewers that he would get his mother to say the f-word. To do so, he placed a live alligator inside her kitchen. The result is two and a half minutes of great comedy. Once again, April goes through a wide range of emotions, cycling through hesitance, disbelief, anger, disgust, and total fear. And yes, she finally says the f-word before storming off to hide in the laundry room.

#6: High Five

“Jackass 3D” (2010)

The high five could very well be the greatest prank in “Jackass” history. Not only does it produce the magical moment of Bam falling straight backwards, but it also generates a great reaction from Knoxville and Dave England. They tell Ehren McGhehey to bring a tray of soup into the kitchen, and he proceeds to get covered by said soup when he falls victim to the high five. Neither Knoxville nor Dave can believe that Ehren actually fell for the soup bit, and they hilariously tell the camera as much. It’s moments like this that make viewers realize just how close and friendly the Jackass guys are with each other.

#5: Toy Car X-Ray

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)

Poor Ryan Dunn was always up for anything. And for the first “Jackass” movie, he was tasked with shoving a toy car up his…well, you know. Dunn then goes to the doctor for an x-ray, telling him that he hasn’t been walking right since falling at a party. The resulting image produces fantastic reactions from everyone. First off is the nurse, whose face shows a gut-busting mixture of disgust and complete disbelief. The doctor himself is super cool about the whole thing, even suggesting to Dunn SB “maybe you stuck it up your ass.” He then tells Dunn to visit a surgeon and not to tell anyone about his unfortunate predicament before shaking his hand farewell. What a great and patient man.

#4: Golf Course Air Horn

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)

We hate that we laugh so hard at this juvenile prank. Knoxville, Ehren, and Dave dress in camo, hide in the bushes, and blow air horns at people who are trying to play golf. However, the Jackasses meet their match in two men who clearly aren’t in the mood for being pranked. The man in white throws his club into the bush and storms over to confront Knoxville. When it happens yet again, sunglasses man turns, takes out a ball and tee, and actually tees off towards the Jackasses. It’s a scary moment, but it somehow produces the best laugh of the whole movie. Getting one last prank in, the guys blast the air horn as he sends a second ball headed their way.

#3: Electric Stool

“Jackass Number Two” (2006)

This is a perfect example of “so close yet so far.” The guys have Wee Man sit on a stool and pretend to have a professional card thrower throw cards into his butt. However, the stool is actually electrified. This results in a horrible pain that Wee Man thinks are the cards going into his behind. He finally catches on that something is amiss, but he doesn’t quite get the right target. Instead of pointing at the stool, Wee Man demands to know where the “card throwing machine” is, prompting gut-busting laughter from everyone in the room. Their laughter is insanely infectious, and it results in one of the best moments in “Jackass” history.

#2: Bam Cries

“Jackass Number Two” (2006)

This prank is incredibly mean, but man if it isn’t hilarious. Bam performs a stunt called “The Wind Tunnel,” but this is just a ruse to get him trapped inside a small area. Following the stunt, a gate is closed and a live snake is tossed into the enclosure. Bam panics and practically blacks out with fear. First he cries, prompting one of the greatest quotes in “Jackass” history. Following that, he becomes a professional acrobat and maneuvers himself through a small opening in the gate. And following that, he is chased across the lot by a man holding the snake. It certainly wasn’t Bam’s greatest day on set, but at least his pain provided us with wonderful entertainment. Thanks Bam.

#1: Terror Taxi

“Jackass Number Two” (2006)

And here it is - the greatest prank ever pulled off on “Jackass.” Ehren is dressed up as a terrorist and placed inside a taxi that is secretly driven by comedian Jay Chandrasekhar. Jay then acts antagonistic towards Ehren, prompting the greatest reaction of all time. Ehren goes through every possible emotion that a human can experience, including anger, fear, and even what seems like a brief acceptance of death. As if the initial prank wasn’t malicious enough, the guys then reveal that Ehren’s beard is actually made of pubic hair, prompting him to vomit in disgust - and then get angry again. It’s the prank to end all pranks, and it gets a suitably epic reaction out of its victim.
