VOICE OVER: Ryan Wild WRITTEN BY: Andy Hammersmith
These "Jackass" moments will have you in stitches! For this list, we'll be looking at the most hilarious scenes and stunts in the history of the franchise. Our countdown of the funniest "Jackass" moments includes movies and TV shows like “Jackass Forever”, "Jackass: The Movie", “Jackass Number Two”, and more!

#10: Silence of the Lambs

Also in:

Hannibal Lector (Silence of the Lambs) vs Jigsaw (Saw)

“Jackass Forever” (2022) The “Jackass” crew is always ready for any surprises, but this particular one really caught them off guard. Cast members end up in a pitch-black room with lots of traps around every corner. Knoxville wears night vision and torments his friends, knowing full well that they can’t see a thing. This skit also provides a nod to the classic horror movie of the same name. Once Zach ends up escaping the first space, he’s in for a shocking reveal in the next room. The layers of this scene make it all the more nerve-wracking as the twisted game never seems to end.

#9: Stilt Boxing

“Jackass” (2000-01) If regular boxing isn’t brutal enough, the cast decides to try the combat sport on stilts. The extra height doesn’t stop them from going all out with their punches. With their castmates cheering them on, Ryan Dunn and Steve-O stumble around while trying to throw jabs before falling over. Neither contestant gives up despite their precarious positions. Their fists keep flying either way, leading the two to get in a few decent moves before hitting the ground hard. It’s unclear if this will become an Olympic sport, but this video footage likely won’t help its case. This sketch came before their attempt at a disoriented form of boxing, which also deserves a mention for its chaotic setup.

#8: Bungee Jump

“Jackass Number Two” (2006) From the mind of Bam Margera, the “Jackass” team sets up a bungee jump with one significant change. Preston Lacy in particular is clearly afraid of heights, shaking in preparation for the stunt. Lacy and Wee Man are both put together in a specially-designed rig from hell. The latter jumps and pulls the former down with him in a stunning moment. Due to the force of Lacy’s fall, the duo slams into the water below. The entire concept is like something out of a Wile E. Coyote cartoon gone wrong. Watching it back in slow-motion, the ending looks even more painful than before.

#7: Golf Course Airhorn

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002) While people get ready to tee off, a group of “Jackass” members lie in wait with an airhorn. They also manage to find the perfect time to throw off everybody’s swing. By the time that a few other golfers arrive, the prank becomes slightly dangerous as the victims fight back. Knoxville and his gang are fearless in their dedication. Even after they have a golf club thrown at them, the guys still try to ruin the players’ game. This leads to some memorable retaliation that turns this into an ingenious piece of footage. Note to self, never try to interrupt someone’s golf outing.

#6: The High Five

Top 10 Most Controversial Jackass Moments

“Jackass 3D” (2010) It’s a pretty safe bet to avoid any high five from one of the “Jackass” guys. The victims in this sketch clearly weren’t thinking the same thing, walking directly into a trap. Wee Man lures people into the kitchen as Johnny Knoxville waits with a gigantic hand. Unlucky castmates like Ehren walk in with food, eventually wearing everything on their clothes. The resulting destruction puts a smile on everybody’s face. In a climactic moment for the skit, Bam walks in and receives a blast of flour as a bonus. The subsequent mess is one of the funniest finishes in franchise history.

#5: Nutball

“Jackass” (2000-01) Nobody ever said that “Jackass” was a highbrow show. In this aptly-titled game, contestants attempt to hit each other in the crotch from across the room. This scene is a painful reminder of the reason there’s a warning in front of every episode. Despite the obvious threat of injury, the guys seem especially psyched to turn each other into human targets. Various matchups like Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O include some precision shots that pack a punch. Considering that everyone seems happy to be there, this skit almost seems like an average hangout for the boys.

#4: The Toy Car

Top 10 Funniest Encanto Moments

“Jackass: The Movie” (2002) After putting a car where it shouldn’t be, Ryan Dunn heads to the doctor for an examination. The staff examines his x-ray with horrified expressions. We don’t blame them either, considering that the image is so hilariously strange. Playing the part like it’s no big deal, Dunn arguably gives his finest performance in the entire franchise. He talks with the medical professional about the consequences of his actions in an absurd situation. Blurring the line between entertainment and stupidity, this concept sets the stage for a cringe classic. The doctor’s parting advice only amplifies the comedic scene.

#3: Poo Cocktail Supreme

“Jackass 3D” (2010) Among the most spectacular stunts in “Jackass” history, the group rigs together their own amusement park ride. They put Steve-O in a port-a-potty and launch him into the air tied to two bungee cables. Since this isn’t a normal ride, the cast members make sure that the portable toilet is full. The passenger ends up getting drenched in a wild display. Other co-stars watch from the ground, seeing the contents spill out onto everything underneath it. This ends up being both hugely entertaining and completely disgusting. If you don’t mind humor that’s messy, you’ll probably be laughing along with everyone on screen.

#2: The Toro Totter

Also in:

Top 10 Funniest Chucky Moments

“Jackass Number Two” (2006) No stranger to messing with bulls, the cast of “Jackass Number Two” tests their luck in this stunt. Four men enter the ring on a four-part teeter-totter as they await their fate. The animal enters the space on a mission to hit anything in its path, clearly angry and ready to fight. Each participant desperately attempts to stay above the beast’s horns. When Ryan Dunn falls off the contraption and makes a run for it, he narrowly escapes in a darkly funny moment. Everyone soon realizes they need to split before leaving Knoxville to deal with the monster. Like in all of their best “Jackass” moments, these stars find a way to stare danger in the face and laugh at it. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Kidnapping Brad Pitt, “Jackass” (2000-01) The Movie Star Freaks Out Bystanders After Getting Abducted by a Mysterious Van Office Chairs, “Jackass” (2000-01) The Crew Takes Furniture for a Spin in Crazy Maneuvers Meant for Skateboards Tire Race, “Jackass Number Two” (2006) Ehren & Dave Board Their Rubber Vehicles in a Dizzying Trip Down a Hill Ice Barrel Jumping, “Jackass” (2000-01) Skaters of Various Skill-Levels Try Hopping Obstacles in an Ice Rink Quiet Game, “Jackass Forever” (2022) Cast Members Try to Stay Silent Through Tasers, Snake Bites, & Skateboards to the Shins

#1: The Jet Engine

Also in:

Top 10 Funniest Madea Moments

“Jackass 3D” (2010) Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to stand behind a jet engine? The “Jackass” guys have you covered in this crazy sequence from the third film. Using the exhaust as a propellant, the crew throws several items in its path and watches them fly. Footballs and vegetables end up hitting cast members at high speeds, turning this segment into a bizarre kind of target practice. Other stunts with a wingsuit and an umbrella completely fail in the funniest way possible. There’s something strangely hilarious about everyone being blown around like kites in a storm. It combines both their ingenious scheming and ability to throw caution to the wind, literally.
