Top 10 Best Songs from The Loud House

Top 10 Best Songs from The Loud House
VOICE OVER: Kirsten Ria Squibb WRITTEN BY: Joey Turner
Turn it up loud for the best songs from "The Loud House." Our countdown includes "Greatest of All Time," "Best Thing Ever," "We Got This," and more!

#10: “This Lab Is Where I Belong”
“The Mad Scientist”

Lisa is given the opportunity to continue her scientific studies at an institute without any distractions from her family. Taken in by the wonders of this lab, she immediately breaks out into a whimsical solo straight out of Broadway. To the four-year-old genius, this laboratory is paradise – a limitless supply of top-of-the-line equipment and, best of all, no loud, invasive siblings to disturb her work. It’s an unexpected treat to see the normally deadpan, cynical Lisa become so lively and merry – and break out into song above all else. Even looking past her trademark lisp, she’s actually a pretty good singer – we guess musical talent just runs in the family.

#9: “Greatest of All Time”
"Face the Music with the Casagrandes"

Let’s take a small break from the Louds and see what jams the Casagrandes can give us. Ronnie Anne has to sing for her Abuelo Hector’s birthday; the only problem is that she has terrible stage fright. Understanding her fear, Hector takes her place singing a duet with Bobby. The song itself is a heartwarming love ballad declaring a loved one as the greatest of all time –which can be easily translated for both romantic and familial love. While it starts out as a duet, everyone else in the apartment gets in on it –even Ronnie Anne, who finally conquers her stage fright to sing along with the family she loves.

#8: “Grateful (Agradecido)”
“The Loudest Thanksgiving”

After a tense Thanksgiving of being at odds with each other, the Louds and Casagrandes join each other for one massive celebration. With guitars in hand, Luna and Hector start strumming an upbeat Spanish tune for the occasion, and everyone else joins in. Despite their differences, both Louds and Casagrandes are one and the same – chaotic, yet full of love, and grateful for both families’ newfound friendships. It’s a really touching song that shows how looking past each other’s differences can make the holidays special. The fact that they managed to make Flip, of all people, cry has got to mean something, right?

#7: “That's What Christmas Is All About”
“11 Louds a Leapin'”

For most of “11 Louds a Leapin’”, Luna struggles to write a good Christmas song (don’t you just love writer’s block?) However, Lincoln’s speech about cheering up Mr. Grouse gives her just the inspiration she needs. And so, later that night, the Louds and the McBrides come together to give the old grump a little Christmas spirit in song form –starting slow and harmonic before completely rocking out. It’s normal to get a little caught up in the holiday hullabaloo, but we’re reminded to never forget the true meaning of the season – giving to others and making smiles. It’s safe to say that this will definitely be Mr. Grouse’s best Christmas ever, thanks to this festive earworm.

#6: “Best Thing Ever”
“Really Loud Music”

In the musical episode, “Really Loud Music”, Luna has been searching for a song genre that can help her win a contest. Inspiration arrives in the form of a catchy bubblegum pop song simply titled “Best Thing Ever” – performed by Tova Litvin. The lyrics practically hypnotize listeners to keep the fun going, and the upbeat tempo and contagious rhythm are catchy enough to get everyone to dance along… literally. The Louds, the neighborhood, the Casagrandes, heck, everyone in the whole world can’t resist the addictive beat – even well-known cynics like Lisa, Lucy, and Mr. Grouse become slaves to the rhythm. While it can’t compete with Luna’s rock songs, it gives her just the inspiration she needs.

#5: “Crazy Rock 'n' Roll Dream”
“Roadie to Nowhere”

For her Royal Rumble audition, Luna goes all out with her latest hit, “Crazy Rock ‘n’ Roll Dream.” For this song, she pours her heart out about her dream of being a rock star –and all the glitz and glam that comes with it. Later, she sings a reprise duet with her roadie, Chunk, and this reprise carries an inspirational message anyone can get behind. It’s normal to be worried about your future, but you shouldn’t let fear stop you from doing what you love. Despite all her doubts, Luna can’t shake her passion for music, and every day she gets to enjoy doing it is like a dream.

#4: “Road Trippin' Blues”
“Tripped!”

All the Louds wanted was a nice family road trip, and now they’re broke and stranded without their van. Their only hope for a ride now is to win the cash prize in an open mic contest, so they bring their A-game to the stage. Together, the family belts out a blues-rock number recounting every single thing that went wrong on their vacation up to that point. By now, we’ve all seen the Louds’ struggles on their trip, but it’s still too much fun to hear it retold in song form – especially when we get to hear the whole family sing together. Luckily, the audience loves the song as much as we do!

#3: “The Best Dang Brother Anywhere Around”
“Yes Man”

Lincoln spends the whole day helping his sisters but misses out on a chance to get the concert tickets he wants so badly. But later that night, he gets something even better – a private concert from his sisters. With Luna on the guitar, the girls sing their brother’s praises for all he did for them that day and even manage to get a surprise appearance from Lincoln’s favorite band, SMOOCH. This sweet little rock number reminds us that, even though the Loud siblings constantly bicker and fight, they still love one another, and will go out of their way to help each other –and Lincoln definitely earned his crown as “Best Dang Brother.”

#2: “We Got This”
“Schooled!”

The one-hour Season Five opener brought a lot of surprising changes to the show. One of the biggest changes – Lincoln and his friends are now in middle school. While the rest of the group is naturally worried, Lincoln is confident that they’ll survive the first day. How confident is he? Apparently, confident enough to break out into a lively, Broadway-inspired musical number and dance across the school. Moving up to middle school is scary –seriously, remember how hard it was finding all your classes? But, as the man with a plan sings – as long as you’ve got your friends and keep a positive attitude, you can survive anything.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

“Save the Music”
“Deep Cuts”

“Changing Luna”
“Really Loud Music”

“You Got Tricked”
“Tricked!”

“What Have I Done?”
“Really Loud Music”

“Welcome to Canada”
“Schooled!”

#1: “Play It Loud”
“Really Loud Music”

For the majority of “Really Loud Music”, Luna tries to achieve fame and fortune for being something she’s not. But in the end, she rips off the mask and belts out our number one jam – “Play It Loud.” This song is the very definition of Luna’s character – rocking, proud of who she really is, and shamelessly loud –and not just by name. Our favorite rocker girl will get the recognition she deserves someday, but as the song says, she’ll do it her own way, with the genre she knows best. With inspirational lyrics, and blood-pumping musical energy, this is one earworm we’ll be rocking to until our speakers blow out!
