Has boy truly met world? Let’s find out! Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down the top ten “Boy Meets World” stars and asking, where are they now? For this list, we’ll be looking at the main cast of “Boy Meets World” and seeing what they’ve been up to since the sitcom’s end in 2000..

#10: Lee Norris

Top 10 Stars You Forgot Were on Boy Meets World

You likely know Lee Norris as Mouth from “One Tree Hill,” but long before that he was the nerdy and bullied Minkus. Norris starred as Stuart Minkus throughout the first season of the show before re-appearing in a guest role in season five. Following that, he “transferred” over to Tree Hill High School and “One Tree Hill,” where he remained until 2012. He subsequently appeared as a police officer in “Gone Girl” and later reprised his role as Minkus for a handful of episodes of “Girl Meets World.” In 2017, he appeared in two episodes of “The Walking Dead,” and in 2019 he starred in a TV movie called “A Christmas Wish” alongside his “One Tree Hill” co-star Hilarie Burton!

#9: Matthew Lawrence

Lawrence was a pretty big name in the ‘90s, having starred as Jack Hunter in “Boy Meets World,” Chris in “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and Matt Roman in “Brotherly Love.” His acting roles haven’t really slowed in the 2010s, although he hasn’t exactly replicated his 90s success. In 2014, he appeared in three episodes of “Melissa & Joey” as Tony Longo and reprised his role as Jack Hunter for one episode of “Girl Meets World.” 2019 saw him appearing in an episode of “Hawaii Five-O” and starring in multiple thrillers and dramas, like “Psycho Granny.” He also married “Dancing with the Stars’” Cheryl Burke in May 2019.

#8: Trina McGee

McGee is known primarily for her work on “Boy Meets World,” where she played Shawn’s love interest Angela Moore. She briefly reprised her role as Angela in “Girl Meets World,” appearing in the second season episode Girl Meets Hurricane. Aside from that, Trina has been busy doing her own thing. 2016 saw her writing, directing, and starring in a movie called “Confessions of Isabella.” That same year, she produced, wrote, and starred in another movie called “Sins of the Guilty.” As of 2019, she’s been working on her next project, a movie called “Detainment,” which is set to release the next year.

#7: William Russ

Russ portrayed the Matthews’ patriarch Alan throughout the run of “Boy Meets World.” However, he was also quite involved behind the scenes as well, having directed nine episodes. Like many of his co-stars, Russ returned for “Girl Meets World” and cameoed as Alan for two episodes. Aside from that, Russ has remained busy on television, starring in episodes of TV shows like “Grimm,” and “9-1-1” in the 2010s. He has also continued production work, serving as a member of the “production staff” for 47 episodes of “Girl Meets World.” He also directed the episode Girl Meets Hurricane, the same episode that saw the return of Trina McGee!

#6: Betsy Randle

Playing Alan’s wife Amy was Betsy Randle. Betsy’s acting output significantly slowed in the 2010s, and “Boy Meets World” remains one of her last major acting credits. She took a decade-long break between 2004 and 2014, appearing as a contestant on “Chopped” in 2015. Of course, she still found time to return as Amy in two episodes of “Girl Meets World,” because as this list is slowly proving, you can’t miss out on a Matthews’ spin-off! She also appeared in two episodes of “Adam Ruins Everything,” and in 2018 she starred in a movie called “My Little Girl Is Gone.” In 2020 she will star as Principal Rogers in “To the Beat! Back 2 School.”

#5: William Daniels

Daniels is a highly accomplished actor. Not only did he crush it as Mr. Feeny in “Boy Meets World,” but he also won two Emmy awards for his work in “St. Elsewhere” and served as the president of the Screen Actors Guild between 1999 and 2001! The 2010s have been a bit slow due to Daniels’ increasing age, but the decade still saw him in five episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” and voicing K.I.T.T. in the 2015 video game “Lego Dimensions.” To perhaps everyone’s surprise, Daniels returned for five episodes of “Girl Meets World,” despite being in his late 80s. As of the end of the decade and at 92 years of age, this is Daniels’s last credited acting role!

#4: Will Friedle

Friedle made quite an impression as the underachieving Eric Matthews, a role he brilliantly inhabited throughout all seven seasons of “Boy Meets World.” Friedle is now a big-time voice actor. From 2015 to 2017, he provided the voice of Bumblebee in “Transformers: Robots in Disguise,” and from 2015 to 2019 he portrayed Star Lord in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” TV series. He has dabbled in screenwriting and wrote the “Girl Meets World” episode Girl Meets Semi-Formal. He also wrote two episodes of “Teen Titans Go!” and one episode of “Transformers” titled Sick as a Bot. And yes, before you ask, he too reprised his role in “Girl Meets World.” That kind of goes without saying at this point!

#3: Danielle Fishel

Fishel was the recipient of a YoungStar award in 1998 for her work as Topanga in “Boy Meets World.” The future was certainly bright, and Fishel hasn’t let us down. She returned as Topanga for “Girl Meets World,” but unlike many of her co-stars so far mentioned on this list, she remained a series regular throughout all three seasons and 72 episodes of the show. She also served as a co-producer for 49 of those episodes. Aside from acting and producing, Fishel has done her fair share of directing work. She directed four episodes of “Girl Meets World,” and in 2019 she oversaw four episodes of “Sydney to the Max” and two episodes of “Raven’s Home!”

#2: Rider Strong

Portraying Shawn Hunter was Rider Strong, another performer who took an extensive role in the production of “Girl Meets World.” Not only did he reprise his role as Shawn for seven episodes, he directed eighteen, including the third season two-parter Girl Meets Ski Lodge. Before that though, he appeared in a mix of TV shows, features and short films. In 2017, the same year that “Girl Meets World” concluded, Rider released a TV movie he had co-written and co-directed with his brother called “Micah the Asshole Ghost.”. He also had a recurring voice role as Tom Lucitor on “Star vs. the Forces of Evil” between 2015 and 2019. Rider is clearly doing a little bit of everything!

#1: Ben Savage

And finally, portraying none other than Cory Matthews himself, we have our boy Ben Savage. Like…well, all of his “Boy Meets World” co-stars, Savage reprised his role for “Girl Meets World,” re-playing Cory Matthews for all 72 episodes of the show. He was also heavily involved in its production, serving as a co-producer and directing ten of the episodes. He has continued acting since leaving that show behind, appearing in multiple episodes of “Still the King” in 2017 and one episode of “Speechless” in 2018. It’s nice to see everyone doing so well! Unfortunately, that’s not often the case…
