In 2010's The Social Network, a movie about the creation of Facebook, Andrew Garfield’s Eduardo Saverin sees him himself pushed out by Jesse Eisenberg’s Mark Zuckerberg. However, that’s something we could never see these two big time actors doing to each other in real life. In fact, the two have been described as rather close friends, appearing together in many interviews and generally palling around. One time Andrew Garfield even said that he loved Jesse Eisenberg! This is certainly a friendship that goes well beyond social media.

“The Spectacular Now” (2013)

The two girls compete for the affections of Miles Teller’s character, Sutter Keely, in The Spectacular Now. But when they’re not playing hurtful ex-girlfriend Cassidy and the shy Aimee respectively, these two seemingly could not be closer. They have been described as “basically sisters”, and Larson has said in interviews that “every time we see each other we cry and we hold each other and we look in each other’s eyes”. Who would’ve thought that Ron Weasley could ever be friends with Draco Malfoy? From childhood to their late teens, the often awkward Gryffindor student and the conniving Slytherin pupil were constantly insulting each other, but outside the world of magic, that is not the case. These real world pals play sons of the mighty norse deity Odin, with Hemsworth as the heroic Thor and Hiddleston as his trickster god and adoptive brother Loki. In both the Avengers and the Thor franchises, they are constantly at odds with each other, but off screen the two share a bromance for the ages. They reportedly compliment each other frequently, they hug, they tweet at each other and have been reported to “always have each other's back”. “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” (2004)

These two legendary comedians are great friends off screen and sometimes on screen too, but definitely not in 2004’s hit comedy Dodgeball, where they played bitter rivals.
