VOICE OVER: Kirsten Ria Squibb WRITTEN BY: Jesse Singer
We bet you didn't know these celebs were BFFs. Our countdown includes Adele & Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry & Allison Williams, Courteney Cox & Laura Dern, and more!

#10: Jack McBrayer & Alexander Skarsgård

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Jack Black

This friendship is a wonderful mystery to us on a number of levels. While we don’t exactly know how it started, we love it! There are numerous reports about the pair's friendship. They appear on each other’s IG accounts and have been each other's plus one at multiple award ceremonies. The Huffington Post even once posted the headline, “Alexander Skarsgård And Jack McBrayer Are The Cutest SAG Awards Dates.” Also, back in 2015 the Golden Globe winner for “Big Little Lies” and Kenneth the Page appeared in a 3-part Funny or Die video together about being besties on an Arctic Adventure.

#9: Adele & Jennifer Lawrence

The Adele and J. Law friendship dates back to the 2013 Oscars. Jennifer won a gold statue for her performance in “Silver Linings Playbook” and Adele took home an Oscar for her James Bond song, “Skyfall.” Lawrence had been a longtime fan of the singer and even snuck around backstage during her Oscar performance to get a better look. They met that night and they’ve been “Rolling in the Deep” friendship ever since that initial “Hello.” They’ve been spotted out together at events and parties and they’ve even done Thanksgiving together.

#8: David Beckham & Snoop Dogg

We were just getting used to the wonderful oddness that is the Snoop Dogg/Martha Stewart friendship and now we learn that Snoop and David Beckham have been friends for over a decade! Do you remember the “Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood” reality show? Well, in 2007 Beckham was brought onto the show to teach Snoop’s kids a little soccer. And that’s when it started. The two went out to eat afterwards and have been tight ever since. In fact, Snoop has even said that when he makes a record, Beckham is, “one of the first people I send the record to before it’s done, even before the label get it.”

#7: Jonah Hill & The Olsen Twins

This unlikely trio have all been friends since they were teens in Los Angeles trying to make it in the biz. Well, to be fair, the Olsens had already made it, given that their rise to fame came at a very young age, when the twins were cast on “Full House.” By the time they were teens, they were trying to figure out how to deal with, and move on from, their childhood fame, while Jonah was trying to hit the big time. This obviously bonded them, and they have remained close since.

#6: Sienna Miller & Keira Knightley

The Miller/Knightley friendship meet-cute sounds like something from a movie script, but it wasn’t. The two actresses met on the set of the 2008 film, “The Edge of Love.” Knightly was going through a bad break-up at the time and Sienna’s advice was that they should go out drinking and make fools of themselves (insert awesome partying night out montage here). We all know there are few things more bonding than a night out on the town. And these two beautiful and talented actresses have been BFFs ever since!

#5: Katy Perry & Allison Williams

We aren’t entirely sure how long these two have been besties but it’s long enough for them to start feeling a sort of telepathic connection to one another. Williams hinted at this telepathy in one interview, telling the story about how both women, independently, went blonde on the same day. The friends weren’t together at the time and during a text exchange Williams commented to Perry that, “I’m going to be blonde next time I see you.” To which Katy responded, “Me Too.” Telepathy, coincidence… call it what you will, it’s no big deal. It’s just how they do!

#4: Liv Tyler & Kate Hudson

10 Celebs You Didn't Know Had Tragic Family Histories

The longest-lasting friendship on our list, Liv and Kate go back over 20 years now. They met when they both attended the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California and have only gotten closer since. They’re basically family. Kate calls Steven Tyler — Liv’s Dad — Papa Tyler and it’s been reported that Kate partially based her Penny Lane character in “Almost Famous” on Liv’s mom, Bebe Buell. Some of you might also remember, these two besties actually kissed on screen once, in the film, “Dr. T & The Women.” According to Hudson they still talk about it, saying, “We're like, 'We should've gone for it more’... It was such a sweet kiss. We should've just really made out.”

#3: Pitbull & John Travolta

In January of 2019, Travolta went viral when he posted a photo of himself with a shaved head. Guess who encouraged him to do it? Yup, Pitbull! He would even send John edited photos showing him what he would look like with a shaved noggin. Who knew these two were so close? But as it turns out, Mr. Worldwide and Mr. “Saturday Night Fever” have become good friends in the last few years. Travolta even showed off his dance moves when he appeared on stage with Pitbull during a performance at the 2020 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.

#2: Courteney Cox & Laura Dern

Could you really have a list about best friends and not have at least one of the “Friends” on it? Well, we guess you could. But we don’t! They may not be hanging out at Central Perk, but Courtney and Laura have a long-standing tradition dating back years of spending Christmas Eve morning together with their families. It started when their kids were just toddlers, and continues now that they both have teens in the house. Another one of Cox’s longtime friends is actress Isla Fisher who posted a throwback karaoke photo of the two friends to welcome Courteney to Instagram back in 2019. #1: Matthew McConaughey & Guy Fieri

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Matthew Perry

Did you know that Guy Fieri has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Well, if that surprised you, an even bigger surprise might be that McConaughey spoke at the ceremony! As it turns out, these two have been BFFs for a long time! McConahghey was a big fan of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and one day, all those years ago, he called up Guy for a restaurant recommendation. That’s how it began. The two eventually got together in person, and the flavortown bromance has never looked back. McConaughey clearly is a friendly dude: he and pop star Shawn Mendes became friends after Shawn messaged him on Instagram and asked for his phone number. Well, alright, alright, alright!
