They went from “Leave It All to Me” to leaving it all behind; now what? Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re looking at the iCarly Cast: Where Are They Now? For this list, we’ll be seeing what some of the major players of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom have been up to since iCarly’s left the internet and the airwaves in 2012..

#10: Tim Russ

Top 20 Stars You Forgot Were on iCarly

Not only was Principal Franklin the very first character to appear on-screen for “iCarly”, but he also proved to be the most popular, easygoing, and fair staff member at Ridgeway Junior High. Part of his popularity could stem from him being played by Tim Russ –best known for playing Lieutenant Commander Tuvok in “Star Trek: Voyager”. Once “iCarly” concluded, Russ would only continue to expand his resume in film, television, and video games. He even got a chance to return to his “Star Trek” roots with the fan film, “Star Trek: Renegades” –where he not only reprised his role of Tuvok but also directed the project.

#9: Mindy Sterling

Top 10 Mindy Project Moments

Fans might remember Mindy Sterling from the “Austin Powers” films or Cartoon Network’s “Chowder”, but we’re recalling her work as Ms Briggs. Briggs was the bitter, bagpipe playing, and pointy-busted teacher who unintentionally inspired the web show; without her, we wouldn’t even have the series we know and love today. Sterling had plenty of acting gigs before “iCarly” was even conceived, and you better believe she kept getting more even after the show’s conclusion. Among her most notable roles are the strict but loyal Lin Beifong from Nickelodeon’s “The Legend of Korra” and Principal Skidmore from Disney’s “A.N.T. Farm” –whose nasty attitude pretty much makes her a Ms Briggs 2.0.

#8: Jeremy Rowley

Having worked on previous Nick shows like “The Amanda Show” and “All That”, Jeremy Rowley is no stranger to the network. Thus, he was the perfect fit for Lewbert – the doorman of Carly and Freddie’s apartment building with a nasty attitude… and an even nastier wart. Once the show ended, the acting bug still remained with Rowley as he continued to appear in smaller roles and online shorts, and eventually got to voice the titular character in the short-lived Nicktoon “Bunsen is a Beast”. Around 2016, he tied the knot with fellow iCarly alum, Danielle Morrow –known for playing the unstable girl, Nora. A crude doorman and a disturbed fan... sounds like a match made in heaven to us.

#7: Bobby Bowman [aka BooG!e]

Top 10 Awesome Millie Bobby Brown Moments

T-Bo was a sassy employee of the iCarly trio’s favorite hangout spot, The Groovy Smoothie, where he would usually try to sell them random food on a stick. His actor, BooG!e, didn’t do much acting after “iCarly” ended, but he managed to land a recurring role as Billy during season one of Disney's “Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything.” Nowadays, BooG!e can mostly be found online on social media, including his own YouTube channel where he always has a story to tell. If only he would teach us how he managed to get a tacos on the stick!

#6: Mary Scheer

Throughout the series, Freddie had one nosy, overprotective shadow looming over him – his mother Marissa Benson; played hilariously by “MADtv” alum Mary Scheer. Alongside playing this over the top mom, Scheer also continued to voice Alice the Zookeeper on “Penguins of Madagascar” long after “iCarly’s” conclusion, and even guest starred on fellow “iCarly” castmate Jennette McCurdy’s web series, “What’s Next For Sarah?” as the titular character’s therapist. From then on, Scheer mostly took on minor roles on shows like “2 Broke Girls” and “Julie’s Greenroom”, but was also cast in Disney’s “Bunk’d” as the recurring character, Gladys –the camp proprietor who’s even more controlling than Mrs. Benson.

#5: Noah Munck

Top 10 Funniest Trevor Noah Moments

Starting off as a recurring character, Gibby –played by Noah Munck- eventually became a major role and important asset on “iCarly”. After the series’ conclusion, Gibby made one last guest appearance on “Sam & Cat”, and was slated to have his own spin-off show, but the pilot was never picked up. Thankfully, Noah still managed to land work – whether as “Naked Rob” Smith on “The Goldbergs”, or as an electronic music producer named NoxiK. He also has his own YouTube account called “Sadworld” where he produces some rather bizarre experimental comedy sketches that mess with our senses –oddly fitting considering that Gibby was a weirdo too.

#4: Jerry Trainor

Also in:

Top 10 Times Jerry Seinfeld Said What We Were All Thinking

As another Dan Schneider alum, “Drake & Josh’s” Jerry Trainor was brought in to play Spencer Shay – Carly’s eccentric older brother with a talent for sculpting and accidentally setting things on fire. Once the series concluded, Trainor still found plenty of work in the acting world –including as Vinnie in the short-lived Nick at Nite sitcom “Wendell & Vinnie”, and as Dudley in the Nicktoon “T.U.F.F. Puppy”. Among his more recent work, Trainor started a band called Nice Enough People and starred in a YouTube comedy series titled “The Porch” –so whatever outlet he chooses, Jerry still knows how to make art even when not playing an over-the-top sculptor.

#3: Nathan Kress

Also in:

Top 10 Unhinged Nathan Fielder Moments

At last, we’ve come to the main “iCarly” trio, and what better place to start than with the web show's technical producer, Freddie? After his time as the nerdy cameraman ended, Nathan Kress started landing more prominent roles – in films such as “Into the Storm” and web series such as “Video Game High School” –he even made his directing debut on fellow Nick sitcom, “Henry Danger”. Sad news for all Creddie and Seddie shippers, but Nathan married “Into the Storm” costar London Elise Moore in 2015, and they had their first child together in 2017. While Freddie may have been the butt of Sam’s jokes, it’s safe to say that this actor is living the good life.

#2: Jennette McCurdy

How could we exclude Carly’s poorly behaved bestie, Sam –played by Jennette McCurdy? Even after “iCarly’s” conclusion, we weren’t done with Sam just yet, as McCurdy reprised the role in the spin-off crossover series “Sam & Cat” alongside “Victorious” star Ariana Grande. Unfortunately, that show didn’t last long, but Jennette kept marching forward – starting up her own web series “What’s Next For Sarah” –loosely based on her own life, and landing a role in the Netflix drama “Between”. In 2018, she made her directing debut with the short film “Kenny” -inspired by her mother’s tragic death- and began writing and directing even more personal shorts –eager to delve more into the directing game.

#1: Miranda Cosgrove

Also in:

Top 10 Reasons Miranda Hobbes Was the BEST

Last, but absolutely not least, is the face of the show herself, Miranda Cosgrove –who rocked Nickelodeon to its core as the plucky titular web show host –was deemed the highest paid child actor in 2012 by Guinness World Records. Once her time on “iCarly” concluded, the acting bug never left her as she continues to accept roles –including reprising her part as Margo in the “Despicable Me” film sequels and a main role in the short-lived sitcom “Crowded”. Outside of that, one of Miranda’s proudest achievements was deciding to attend college at USC. After years of being homeschooled during her teenage years, she was eager to meet new people and learn new things -such as psychology.
