Top 10 Kim Possible Moments

Top 10 Kim Possible Moments

These are the best Kim Possible moments! For this list, we're taking a trip through “Kim Possible”'s four seasons and two TV movies to select the best moments of Disney's hit show. As many of the entries are plot based, there will definitely be some spoilers. We've included moments like when Ron saves the cheerleader squad, Kim's first mission, when Ron saves the day when Drake's evil transfers to Ron and more!

#10: Ron Saves the Cheerleader Squad

“Sink or Swim”

Friday the 13th’s “Crystal Lake”, Sleepaway Camp’s “Camp Arawak” and Kim Possible’s “Camp Wannaweep”- which one of these is not like the others? On their way to a competition, the Middleton Cheer Squad’s bus breaks down outside an abandoned summer camp, which happens to be where Ron spent his worst summer ever. Panicking, he quickly gets on everyone’s nerves as he recounts stories of that misbegotten summer but is proven right when a mysterious sea creature attacks the squad. With even Kim defeated, it is up to Ron and Rufus to save the day and earn the respect of his classmates.

#9: Kim Gets Hit With a “Moodulator” Chip and Falls in Love With Ron

“Emotion Sickness”

Many shows force two popular characters into a relationship, only to have it blow up in their faces. Kim Possible not only pulled it off with style but completely annihilated the concept of the “Friend Zone”. After Kim and Shego get hit by a “moodulator”, they are sent spiraling through a variety of emotions, including anger and love. Kim ends up falling for Ron, and they share their first proper kiss, while a hilarious Shego gets all lovey-dovey with Drakken. Used as a test run to see how receptive fans would be for a Kim and Ron relationship, “Emotion Sickness” was a sign of things to come.

#8: Kim's First Mission

“A Sitch in Time”

Even as a preschooler, Kim’s crime-fighting skills were unmatched. The first of “Kim Possible”’s two TV movies is a prequel where Kim and Ron must preserve history in order to save the future from the Supreme One. Drakken, Killigan, and Monkey Fist travel back in time to bully the four-year-old girl and discourage her from becoming the high school badass we know and love. Transforming into children, they infiltrate her preschool but are defeated by the young Kim in her first ever mission. After laying the smack-down on Drakken and friends, she is introduced to Ron. The rest is history.

#7: Rappin’ Drakken

“Rappin’ Drakken”

Shampoo is as good a way as any to take over the world. After Drakken’s new underwater lair is destroyed by Kim, he devises an absolutely brilliant plan to sell brain washing shampoo at supermarkets across the country. Although he manages to get them on store shelves, nobody buys his product, most likely due to the not so subtle brand name of “Lather, Rinse & Obey”. Not ready to give up, Drakken signs up for the hit TV show ‘American Starmaker’ in an attempt to win a promotional deal. Once on stage, Drakken raps his way through a commercial for his shampoo. We give it a B-.

#6: The Possibles, Drakken, and Shego Set Aside Their Differences for Christmas

“A Very Possible Christmas”

When even a mad genius and his sarcastic sidekick aren't immune to the Christmas spirit, then nobody is. As the Possible family sings Christmas carols, Ron decides to go solo on a mission so Kim can enjoy Christmas Eve. After a slapstick heavy confrontation with Dr. Drakken, they end up stranded together in the Arctic, prompting Kim and Shego to search for them. While the two rivals battle it out on live television, Ron and Drakken bond over their love for the recently canceled Christmas special, “Snowman Hank”. Drakken then stops the fight and invites everyone to Christmas dinner, showing that there’s more to him than just pure evil.

#5: Kim and Ron Switch Bodies

“Mind Games”

In the hands of capable writers, even the most clichéd tropes can still be a lot of fun. After being knocked out by Drakken’s men, Kim and Ron end up switching bodies. Until Wade finds a way to reverse the effects, they must survive a few days in each other’s shoes. Kim realizes that Ron’s carefree life is not so easy going, while Ron struggles to meet the expectations placed on the popular crime fighter. Throughout the series, Kim Possible showed a willingness to completely disregard gender roles and stereotypes, with none showing it better than this quirky season one episode.

#4: Ron Saves the Day

“Graduation, Part 2”

It might be Kim’s name in the title, but it takes more than one Possible to form a team. In the final episode of the series, the sidekicks are pushed into the limelight, as Ron and Shego attempt to rescue Kim and Drakken from the clutches of two evil alien invaders. Despite all four working together, they are no match for Warhok and Warmonga, resulting in Kim being captured. With all seemingly lost, Ron is visited by his own personal Yoda before receiving the power of the mystical monkey. Glowing a mighty blue, it is finally Ron’s turn to be the hero.

#3: Shego’s Backstory Reveal

“Go Team Go”

Well, we didn’t see that coming. While on a trip to Go City, Kim confronts the winged menace Aviarius as he attempts to steal the powers of Hego, a retired superhero. In a twisted turn of events, Kim receives Hego's super strength and becomes involved with Team Go, a color coded superhero group. At their hideout, she notices that they are one green person short. With Team Go powerless, a reluctant Shego is enlisted to take down Aviarius and save her family. Alongside Stop Team Go, this episode helped flesh out Shego to show that she is far more than your typical wise-cracking villain.

#2 Wade Shows Up in Person

“Team Impossible”

Whatever you do, leave this man’s computer alone. The Q to Kim’s James Bond, Wade is a child prodigy who runs the team’s website and supplies everyone with the gadgets needed to carry out their dangerous missions. Despite Wade often being shown on their communicator and even once in cyber form, he rarely ever left his room and did not appear in person for the first two and a half seasons. This all changed during Kim’s fight with Team Impossible; when Wade blasted his way into their base seeking sweet vengeance for a virus they sent to fry his computer system.

Before we get to our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions:

Kim’s Annoying Brothers Prove Helpful

“The Twin Factor”

Kim and Shego Work Together to Take Down Warmonga

“Mad Dogs and Aliens”

Drakken's Evil Transfers to Ron

“Bad Boy”

#1: Kim and Ron Kiss

“So the Drama”

After three seasons and two feature length movies, they finally earned their happy ending. With junior-prom approaching, Kim hits it off with the new student, Eric, and starts to spend less and less time with her goofy best friend. Overcome with jealousy, Ron realizes that he has feelings for the crime fighter. Unbeknownst to him, Eric is actually a droid designed by Drakken who ends up leaving Kim devastated. After lending Kim a shoulder to lean on, Ron takes the plunge and together they defeat Drakken and Shego. With the whole school watching, Kim and Ron seal their new relationship with a kiss.
