Top 10 Movie Bikinis

#10- Angelina Jolie “Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” (2003)
Kicking off our list is the sleek all black Bikini worn by the Tomb Raider herself. This one is a supposedly utilitarian adventure garb, complete with belt and arm holster. When it’s coupled with Jolie’s rocking’ bod it was a combination that ensured that her hired help, as well as the audience weren’t focusing on anything else. No seriously, what’s this movie about again?
#9- Jessica Alba “Into The Blue” (2005)
A unique entry on this list, Jessica Alba rocks the only bikini that doesn’t even match, but we’re sure you noticed that right away. Alba and her ensemble take center stage throughout lengthy and often gratuitous snorkeling shots. With Alba in an outfit like this, it’s all about the swimming, teasing the wild life, and collecting all kinds of dirty old relics.
#8- Jessica Simpson “The Dukes of Hazard” (2005)
Waterboarding is one way to go, but if you really need to extract Intel, leave the work to Jessica! As Ms. Simpson Demonstrates on this dumbfounded redneck, the gall from Zero Dark Thirty was going about it all wrong. Her red-hot pink bikini really pops thank to timeless classic trench coat delivery system. Of course, we’re sure that hours of gym time and a stylist probably didn’t hurt the as well…
#7- Halle Berry “Die Another Day” (2002)
Fans looking to pinpoint the apex of Hale Berry’s sex appeal need look no further. An homage to Ursula Andress’ outfit from the first Bond flick, this orange variation proves that even men can be interested in cyclical style choices as long as you stick to the classics. As such, it’s hard to blame Bond for swooping in for the kill before she’s even had a chance to dry off. Interestingly, her character’s name is Jinx, which is probably the effect she’ll have on your relationship if you tried watching this with your significant other.
#6- Nicollette Sheridan “The Sure Thing” (1985)
In this classic flick, John Cusack plays a college kid out to meet a woman who his buddy bills as “the sure thing”. With only a picture of her wearing a white Bikini to go by, he winds up dreaming about her sporting her two-piercer with matching arm band. Striking-up various poses, she quite literally becomes the girl of his dreams as his fantasy begins to spin out of control. Keep dreamin’ buddy.
#5- Ali Larter “Varsity Blues” (1999)
And now for an outfit that’s also white, but completely different! We never said the bikini had to be made out of fabric or couldn’t be edible! Here, a beautiful blonde cheerleader attempts to win over a star football player in a vain attempt to escape small town life. In a memorable, albeit untraditional courtship attempt, she makes herself into a funday-Sunday and comes out in a whipped cream bikini! But, apparently he had a big lunch or is lactose intolerant or something.
#4- Phoebe Cates “Fast Times At Ridgemont High” (1982)
Similar to “The Sure Thing”, this dream sequence ramped up the sex appeal by centering on Pheobe Cates sporting a killer red two piece and strutting her stuff in the sprinkler to “Moving in Stereo”. Apparently this was a bit too much for a young Judge Reinhold, who gets a Reinhold of himself a little too passionately in the bathroom.
#3- Carrie Fisher “Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi” (1983)
This one isn’t used for swimming, unless Tatooine has sand swimming or something. An outfit Carrie Fisher’s Leia is forced to wear for Jabba the Hutt, the metal suit is smoking hot, and not because of the planet’s two suns! Jabba my man, while we don’t condone such behavior, you don’t have to buy her a drink if she’s already in chains. I think we just figured out why Jabba’s so sleepy all the time…
#2- Raquel Welch “One Million Years B.C” (1966)
This bikini may not be from as long ago as Princess Lei’s, but it takes credit the first to be worn by a woman of Earth. Made of animal skin, Welch’s two-piece is a garment that authentically captured the keen fashion sense of the caveman era. Who needs fire when Stone Age bikinis were this hot? Well, she probably does, that thing offers like, no insulation.
#1- Ursula Andress “Dr. No” (1962)
Taking the top spot on our list is the Bikini shot that ensured Bond’s popularity for years to come, and had every man wishing he was a secret agent too. Sporting a knife while glowing over her prize conches, she goes the extra mile by serenading about the mango trees… and you know what, that’s all good. Like Bond, we’d happily try to sing along. Is that creepy? Yah that’s creepy…
