Often thought of as one of America's first supermodels, Cheryl Tiegs was tantalisation incarnate! There aren't too many magazine covers this girl hasn't graced! Glamour, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Sports Illustrated, she's been the face of them all! A scorcher in swimwear, Tiegs turned more than a few heads in 1978 when she modelled a fishnet number through which her nipples were actually visible! She dared to bare more than most, and her sexy credentials are clear cut!

The only one of the “Charlie's Angels” to remain with the series from start to finish, Jaclyn Smith fought crime in the foxiest way possible! A brunette beauty who it's almost worth getting brought to justice by, she just beats Cheryl Ladd to the title of 'Charlie's Finest'! Smith also gained attention for her title role in the TV movie, "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy"... She's not quite our 'First Lady', but she's mighty, mighty fine all the same!

Another big screen beauty next, as we welcome onto our countdown some Academy Award-winning attractiveness! Faye Dunaway scooped the golden statuette for her role in "Network" and was Oscar nominated twice more for parts in "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Chinatown"! She was more than just a pretty face, but it has to be said that she was an exceptionally pretty face! Dunaway was by far and away one of the loveliest ladies to look at of her time!

Some English elegance now, and an actress who one just has to stand back and admire! James Bond fans know Jane Seymour as Solitaire, everyone knows her as seriously good looking! A role as Princess Farah in "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" certainly caught the eye of everyone else, and when she played Serina in the "Battlestar Galactica" pilot, which was released theatrically in some countries before making it to American TV, her wonderful womanliness was officially out of this world! By '79, we were all clamoring to see more of Seymour... Eventually our wishes were gloriously granted!

The poster girl business was booming in the '70s, but few pin-ups were pinned up quite as often as Bo Derek! A dream sequence in the 1979 movie "10" provided a now iconic image of Derek running on the beach that was branded across many a teenage boy's bedroom wall! Decades before "Baywatch," the slo-mo shots of Derek bouncing along the sand were enough to keep anyone awake at night! In terms of sexiness in the '70s, all systems were Bo!

Another poster-ed princess, Raquel Welch entered the '70s with everyone well aware of her attractiveness! The American Actress earned her attention in the film "One Million Years B.C."... She said three lines, but donned an outfit one million times more revealing than what the '60s cinema-goer was used to! A poster that would remain in pop-culture with "The Shawshank Redemption", for Welch the '70s were sexy non-stop! At the end of the decade, Playboy dubbed her "Most Desired Woman"... And we can't argue with that!

The smiling side profile is one of the most well-known images of the era! Those eyes, and that hair... And those legs?! She's our winner, and she's enough to make a grown man weep!
