VOICE OVER: DP
Written by Alex Crilly-Mckean

Need to slay some of Hitler's goons? Talk to these guys. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we are counting down our picks for the top ten Nazi kills in anime.

For this list, we'll be looking at the times when Nazis in anime met a grizzly end. The bloodier the better. As you might expect, be on the lookout for plenty of mature content as well as spoilers down the line.

#10: Alucard vs. Rip Van Winkle

“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Granted, if we knew that the King of Vampires was about to butcher us, we would break down and weep too. As a senior Millennium officer, Rip Van Winkle thought herself untouchable thanks to her vampirism and magic bullets. Unfortunately for her, Alucard is something of a bullet sponge, which allows him to close the gap and finish her off in something of a gruesomely intimate manner. He slowly impales her with her own rifle before taking a big bite out of her. He seems pretty happy with himself when all is said and done.

#9: Enter Erna

“Urda: The Third Reich” (2003)

In terms of quality you might want to give this anime a miss, but if you want to see Nazis stylishly gunned down then you’re more than welcome to it. After discovering a plot for the Nazis to travel back in time via spaceship (because obviously) and change the outcome of the war, a specialist spy is sent in to foil their plans. Erna isn’t exactly one for discretion, which she demonstrates by leaping on top of a train and killing a bunch of Nazi soldiers in a single go.

#8: Shot Down

“The Cockpit” (1993)

Taking a much more grounded look at World War Two, the first OVA in this anthology gives us a glimpse of what it might have been like to be a conflicted Nazi soldier. Through the eyes of fighter pilot Erhardt Von Rheindars, we see that not all those who fought for the Axis powers were inherently evil, and that human decency could still shine through. Of course, with the setting being that of a sky filled with dogfights, someone is bound to get gunned down. This is seen early on when Rheindar’s comrade get torn apart by Allied spitfires.

#7: The End of the Major

“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

After setting London ablaze, slaughtering thousands of innocents and even managing to bring about Alucard’s demise, we were all eager to see the leader of Millennium get his just desserts. And holy hell was it satisfying. After Seras breaks through his defences with the biggest cannon you have ever seen, Integra finishes him off with a single bullet to the head. He more than had it coming, but we’re still going to miss one of anime’s greatest villains. After all, he wrote the best speeches!

#6: Seras Slaughters Millennium Soldiers

“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. After gunning down their zeppelin all by herself Seras proceeds to hunt down and blast her way through the Millennium soldiers that have occupied Hellsing manor. To say that this is one sided would be an understatement, as Seras flies in like a bat out of hell and proceeds to blow them to bits with her twin Harkonnens. Not that we feel any sympathy for these guys, they do get their kicks from devouring humans and guessing their blood types after all.

#5: Level Zero

“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Sorry, sorry. This is the last time we’ll mention Hellsing. With a destroyed London serving as a battleground, Integra decides to say screw it and let her vampiric servant cut loose. And by cut loose we mean summon a bloody tidal wave filled with lost souls that rip apart anyone they come across. As you might expect, the Millennium forces are overwhelmed and practically wiped out in a single go. Not to mention hundreds of fanatical Catholics who just so happened to be in the way.

#4: Ramenman vs. Brockenman

“Kinnikuman” (1983-92)

We really don’t know what to say about this scene. You would think in a series that features intergalactic wrestlers taking each other out in the ring we would build up a tolerance for wacky sights. Then this fight happens. Facing off against the walking swastika, Ramenman shows his Nazi foe no mercy and ends up breaking his back. If that’s not violent enough for you, he then proceeded to turn him into noodles, and then eats him! Don’t quote us, but we’re pretty sure you aren’t allowed to do that in wrestling.

#3: Death by Squirrel

“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” (2012-)

Chances are you’re going to be either horrified by this one or laugh your ass off. During their battle with the Pillar Men, JoJo and company are unable to stop Kars from obtaining ultimate power. Now in his ascended form, Kars can literally create life from nothing. So, what does he choose to do? Why, create a murderous squirrel from his hand of course. Said Squirrel then proceeds to attack the assembled Nazi platoon in a rather brutal and bloody fashion. Even by JoJo standards that’s crazy!

#2: Revy’s Rampage

“Black Lagoon” (2006)

They stole from the wrong person. After a group of Neo-Nazis take what the Lagoon company rightfully ‘procured,’ Revy sets out on a mission of revenge. Turns out not even a boat full of heavily armed remnants of the Third Reich can hold a candle to her. The only thing more unnerving than seeing so many bodies drop is just how much enjoyment Revy seems to be getting from it. To be fair, they did have it coming, you don’t cross a lady like Revy and expect to come out alive.

Before we reveal our number one pick here are a few honourable mentions.

Wild Geese vs. Millennium
“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Iscariot vs. Millennium
“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Stroheim’s First Death
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” (2012-)

#1: Seras vs. Zorin

“Hellsing Ultimate” (2006-12)

Yeah, we know what we said, but can you blame us? Hellsing Ultimate is the definitive anime for Nazi kills! And no scene is gorier or more satisfying than the one where Seras finally accepts her vampiric side. Following Pip Bernadotte’s death at the hands of Millennium Officer Zorin Blitz, Seras proceeds to totally overpower her before laying out some much-deserved vengeance. How does she do this? By scraping Zorin’s face across a wall at such speed that her face is peeled into bloody pieces. Nice.
