Top 10 Scream Queens Outfits We Want

Who ever said horror and fashion can’t mix? Welcome to MsMojo, today we’ll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Scream Queens Outfits.
For this list, we’ll be looking at some of the most eye-catching, style envy-inducing outfits in this fashion forward comedy horror series. Warning: spoiler alert.
#10: Chanel #6’s Light Blue Strapless Dress
We love a pastel moment! Hester looked like an ice princess in her light blue embellished floral strapless dress. Pairing the look with a matching light blue fur jacket tied it all together and really solidified her place as a Chanel. The monochromatic feel of the outfit and her slicked-back ponytail made it all the more polished. Altogether, the outfit highlights Hester’s cold and ruthless nature. It felt fitting for her to be wearing this while she told Chanel some harsh information about her relationship with Dr. Brock Holt.
#9: Chanel #5's Sequined Skirt
This look just screams business on top, party on the bottom. Chanel #5 paired her light yellow top and matching yellow jacket with an iridescent sequined pencil skirt. She also went with all gold accessories, from her statement necklace to her chunky chain belt. The colors go surprisingly well together, proving that it pays to step out of the box every once in a while. Altogether the outfit is a mix of business casual and party-ready, capturing Chanel #5’s polished but still-fun vibe. While it may not be the most conventional look, it certainly is memorable.
#8: Chanel's Feather Dress
From the black ensemble she wore during Chanel #2’s funeral to her beige shift dress, Chanel has proven her undying love for feathery frocks. However, her most memorable version of this style has got to be her white, blue, and purple shift dress paired with a sparkling silver belt. The eye-catching jewellery paired with the already dramatic dress proved that Chanel isn’t afraid to go all out. This look only added to the drama when Chanel flounced down the stairs to confront her Kappa pledges and Mrs. Bean.
#7: The Chanels' Floral Outfits
The Chanels don’t always wear coordinated outfits, but when they do, they totally nail it. The trio sported a distinct red-pink color palette but each girl put their own unique spin on the look. Chanel wore a peach and red floral shift dress with a matching cape, Chanel #3 wore a monochromatic light pink look with a feather accented minidress and earmuffs, while Chanel #5 wore a mid-length pink and red floral dress. Walking together they looked every bit the part of ruthless sorority sisters. They’re definitely an iconic trio.
#6: Zayday's Red Jersey and Statement Necklace
Zayday’s style is the polar opposite of the Chanels,’ but it only works to her advantage because it makes her stand out. In this outfit, she paired a red jersey and silver statement necklace with a black cap, creating an edgy and androgynous look. She wore this ensemble to carve pumpkins with Grace and the Kappas while dropping a bombshell of an announcement. Her anti-Chanel look only highlights how different she is from them and made her decision to run against Chanel for Kappa president all the more interesting.
#5: Chanel #3's Tutu
Out of all the girls on the show, Chanel #3 had one of the most eccentric personalities, and that was often reflected in her style choices. No one else would have thought to pair pieces together the way Chanel #3 did. This outfit literally had it all: her signature earmuffs, a long white tutu, a silver chain belt, and a yellow cropped jacket with furry cuffs. It worked in contrast to Chanel’s quilted pale pink quilted top and white quilted skirt paired with pearls and showed that, while each girl’s style was different, they all had great style.
#4: Chanel #2's Metallic Crop Top
Although Chanel #2, played by Ariana Grande, only appeared for a few episodes of the show, she had a big impact. This metallic silver crop top paired with a white miniskirt, sparkling choker necklace, and white knee-high socks looked like something Ariana would have worn at the time; she even kept her signature high pony! It turns out this look was so nice, “Scream Queens” wanted us to see it twice, as, when Chanel #2 returned from hell to taunt Chanel #1, she wore this very outfit. Granted, it is the one the Red Devil caught her in.
#3: Chanel #6’s Pink Sweetheart Dress
Who doesn’t love a good makeover? At the start of the show, Hester’s style represented her awkward and somewhat quirky personality. She frequently wore baggy jeans, graphic t-shirts, and minimal makeup and altogether looked like the style anthesis to the polished and put-together Chanels. That’s what made her transformation all the more shocking. Her pink sweetheart necklined dress paired with furry white cuffs, a feathery clutch bag, and embellished open toe heels definitely turned some heads when Chanel introduced her to the rest of the Kappas.
#2: Chanel's Pink Fur Coat and Bow Blouse
This look totally screams authoritative mean girl. In this look, Chanel wears a pink fur coat with a white blouse and a houndstooth skirt. Although simple, Chanel knows how to work a clean but polished silhouette, and the colors compliment each other perfectly. But Chanel is anything but boring. Each piece in her outfit has an interesting detail, whether it be the bow on her blouse, the texture of her coat, or the foldover detail on her skirt. To top it all off, the round dark sunglasses and mini pink purse give off the quintessential unapproachable Chanel vibe.
Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
Chanel #3’s Pink Earmuffs
Because no one ever said earmuffs should only be worn in the winter.
Chanel's Button-Down Set
Because we love a good matching set.
Zayday’s Denim Outfit
Because the Canadian tuxedo is an interesting choice.
Chanel #6's Pink Ruffle Dress and Fuzzy Cuffs
Because Hester looks pretty in pink.
Dean Munsch's All-Black Ensemble
Because nothing is quite as chic as all black.
#1: The Chanels' Matching Pastel Tweed Skirt Sets
These matching outfits certainly left a lasting impression on viewers and established the Chanels as major fashion icons. The look set the tone for the Chanels’ style throughout the entire series: polished, preppy, and always well-coordinated. From the tweed to the pearls to the fingerless gloves, these outfits were obviously inspired by Karl Lagerfeld and his vision of the Chanel fashion house. Costume designer Lou Eyrich did a great job creating a cohesively recognizable look for the group that still highlighted each girl’s individual sense of style.
