'Fair' is as appropriate an adjective as any to describe our first female, as Morgan Fairchild made ‘80s actress-ing a lot more attractive! A star of the CBS soap opera "Search for Tomorrow" in the ‘70s, it was in "Flamingo Road" that Fairchild truly flourished! She was always acutely aware of how hot she was however, and made the most of what God gave her in movies such as "The Seduction" and "Red Headed Stranger". What an absolute fox!

Although there were infamous issues surrounding her age and the parts that she played at the beginning of the '80s, by the end of the decade Brooke Shields had established herself as one of Hollywood's hottest stars! Infrequent film work was paired with the odd TV performance, as Shields shimmered through show business like few had before her. She also spent a lot of her time reading French Literature at Princeton University... She really wasn't just a pretty face!

Beginning her career as a fashion model, Kim Basinger broke into the world of film at the beginning of the '80s! Her breakthrough role came as a Bond Girl in "Never Say Never Again", which ironically led to Hollywood saying yes, always! Of course, her public profile was considerably helped by a famous Playboy promotional shoot, and her appearance alongside Mickey Rourke in the erotic drama "9 1/2 Weeks." That film may have bombed at the box office, but it has unsurprisingly acquired a certain fan-base since and cemented Ms. Basinger’s status as a babe!

Another blonde beauty, Michelle Pfeiffer came to the world's attention after she starred as alluring Elvira Hancock in "Scarface"! Having added just a little bit of cuteness to cocaine addiction, Pfeiffer's first major commercial success came with "The Witches of Eastwick". A film in which she's unaware of the magical gifts that she's got, she must have kept at least a little of the mysticism once she stepped off set! We can always count on soap operas for a little bit of sexiness, and in the case of "Dynasty," we were dished up some extra-cute eye-candy! There were plenty of pretty girls in the show, but none quite like Sammy Jo! Heather Locklear's character was with "Dynasty" until its cancellation! For a time, she combined her time acting with the Carringtons with a part in cop show "T. J. Hooker", which had everyone even more hooked on her! She was ‘80s TV's lady of lust!

If soap operas have some sex appeal, then 'teen movies' have triple that! Phoebe Cates made a name for herself by starring in films aimed at the '80s adolescent, and boy was she good at her job! Her most famous outing has to be for "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"! That red bikini was a mind-blower, and she was a game-changer! Many who watched imagined they knew how cute she always thought they were', and then they all paused our VCRs directly after - just to prolong the perfection!

This mademoiselle was at one point a model, a singer and an actress... A showbiz all-rounder, the men all wanted to be with her! Vanessa Williams' beauty went all the way to the big leagues too, as in '83 she became the first African-American Miss America - a scandal involving nude photographs meant that she eventually had to relinquish her title, but her adoring public wasn’t exactly complaining there! Making the most of her hot high-profile, Williams spent much of the '80s making music... And making everyone want her!

In a similar way to Phoebe Cates, Kelly LeBrock's sexiness can largely be linked to one film and one moment! Cast in "Weird Science" as the absolute ideal woman, when she appears at Wyatt and Gary's door, theirs aren't the only jaws that are on the floor! The hipster undies and the nearly not there T-shirt has to be one of the most awesome attires ever seen at the cinema! So sexy, when you see her it's difficult to believe she's real! LeBrock rocks!

A pioneer in pop music, Madonna has to be one of the most influential women within the history of celebrity pop culture! Ladies all over the land were copying her style, and luckily enough, her style was hot! The bleached blonde hair, fishnet stockings and lace tops were daring and a little bit dangerous, and we liked that! Achieving worldwide fame for her single "Like a Virgin", Madonna's lyrics were just as racy! She seemed to have confidence in abundance... And that was what made this 'Material Girl' mesmerising!
