Top 10 Times Deadpool Went Berserk
#10: Truck Turmoil
“Deadpool 2” (2018)
During this high-octane sequence, which sees Wade Wilson go all out against Cable while trying to protect the mutant Russell in a moving truck, things get incredibly chaotic. The choreography here is impressive, as Deadpool uses everything within reach—guns, swords, even his own body—to fend off his time-traveling attacker. It’s not just about brute strength for the “Merc with a Mouth” though - it’s about sheer unhinged determination. And, with the impressive assault culminating with the truck careening off a bridge, it adds up to another wild ballet of carnage for our unlikely hero.
#9: Slicing Through a Mutant Monster
“Deadpool” #1 (2012)
In 2012’s "Deadpool #1" comic book, Wade faces off against a giant mutant creature that resembles a certain kaiju monster. And yes, it's every bit as epic as it sounds. Here, Deadpool’s signature violent style is very much on display, as he dives headfirst into the fray to stop the oversized monstrosity from using Manhattan as its personal playground. But, when the monster swallows the jokester mid-rampage, things take a turn for the wild. Using his katanas to slice and dice his way out of the Godzilla-like creature, Pool emerges in a spectacular berserk fury. Who says Deadpool doesn’t know how to go big? Not us.
#8: Car Attack
“Deadpool” (2016)
The opening of 2016’s "Deadpool" sets an immediate tone for what audiences can expect from the rest of the film —a no-holds-barred ride through unexpected pandemonium. When Deadpool effortlessly leaps into a moving SUV, he dispatches bad guys left and right with multiple weapons, including the vehicle’s cigarette lighter. The generic thugs didn’t know what hit them – literally. It’s all very impressive, as the car itself is used as a weapon as speeds out of control. The attack, part of Wade’s quest for revenge against Francis, leads to a stunning highway crash sequence. And with Deadpool’s palpable fighting spirit on full display, maximum effort was definitely given.
#7: Battling Deadpool Variants
“Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024)
As Logan and Wade attempt to thwart Cassandra's plans at the end of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” they are interrupted by the Deadpool Corps. That’s right — multiple Deadpool variants from across the multiverse converge for one heck of a chaotic showdown. The fight is a wild beast-mode spectacle that sees Deadpool (along with Logan) cut through countless versions of the crimson mercenary in what can only be described as a blood-soaked frenzy. But, after heroically emerging from a bus packed with the “Deadpool” bodies, the duo realizes these variants can regenerate. Oops. Thankfully, Peter saves the day with his words of wisdom.
#6: Breaking His Bones & Chewing His Arm Off
“Deadpool” #43 (2015)
Since you can’t, you know, kill him, the best way to keep Deadpool out of action is to incapacitate and restrain him. That’ll do the trick - or will it? You see, in 2015’s "Deadpool” #43 comic book, Wade found himself all tied up in a dire predicament. Chained and suspended in mid-air, Wade realized the only way out was to go to extreme lengths. In a moment of bonkers problem solving, he broke every single one of his bones to slip free. Oh, but wait, if that wasn’t deranged enough, “Mr. Pool” had to bite off his own arm to complete his escape. Yikes.
#5: Lab Escape
“Deadpool” (2016)
After enduring torture and experiments at the hands of Ajax, Deadpool finally snaps — can you blame him? During his dramatic escape from the lab, Wade, who seems to be silent for once, reveals he’s actually hidden a match in his mouth. Why? To ignite his way out, of course. In a burst of fire and fury, our unconventional hero engages in an intense battle with his nemesis. Eventually impaled on a spike—something that would surely be fatal for anyone else—Deadpool's regenerative powers allow him to remarkably break free. It's a defining moment, one where Deadpool’s rage reaches its boiling point!
#4: Dismantling Francis’ Organization
“Deadpool” (2016)
Have we mentioned that you don’t want to get on Deadpool’s bad side? Wade’s relentless quest to dismantle Francis' organization is both terrifying and amusing. Driven by unadulterated anger and revenge, Pool takes out everyone connected to the group that transformed him into a “monster.” The dynamic montage shows Deadpool eliminating a variety of goons and grunts in brutal ways. Memorable moments include the "Zamboni kill" and a creative use of a safe door. But don’t let the humor fool you, this violent journey underscores just how dangerous Deadpool can be – especially if you’ve got the answers he’s looking for..
#3: Taking Out TVA Soldiers
“Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024)
After getting trapped in a twisted multiverse scenario and faced with taking on a squad of TVA soldiers, Deadpool turns to a most unusual choice of weaponry - the bones of a deceased Logan. Yep, you heard that right. Be it from utter madness or pure ingenuity, Deadpool uses the adamantium-coated remains of his (ahem) friend in a furious, frenzied fight. If it wasn’t so deranged, it would almost be poetic, as Pool swings Logan’s skeletal remains like a club while carving (and dancing) his way through his enemies. We suppose only Deadpool could turn something so violently unhinged into something so… weirdly touching?
#2: International Killing Spree
“Deadpool 2” (2018)
In Deadpool’s second big screen outing, we are treated to one heck of an extreme international killing spree. Hunting down Triads, Yakuza, mafias, and all other manner of criminals, Wade leaves behind a footprint of blood and carnage. The sequence is chock full of creative (not to mention comedic) kills. And, as a bonus, it’s all set to Dolly Parton’s classic tune “9 to 5.” It’s a truly powerful montage – one that captures Deadpool's darker side. Going berserk on a global scale and leaving a trail of bodies shows that there’s nowhere in the world you can hide from Deadpool’s wrath!
#1: Killing the Marvel Universe...Twice
''Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe'' (2011 -12) & ''Deadpool Kills the MarveI Universe Again” (2014)
Not many can lay claim to killing an entire universe of superheroes and villains – but Deadpool can. Yep, in the standalone comics story, "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe,” Deadpool, after undergoing mind-altering experiments by Psycho-Man, embarks on a violent mission to eliminate every hero and villain in the Marvel Universe. The result is a disturbing depiction of Deadpool at his most unhinged as he easily eliminates the likes of The Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and the Avengers. And, he would do it once more in 2017’s aptly titled "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again." This time Deadpool’s vicious killing spree is manipulated by several Marvel baddies. It doesn’t get more twisted than these terrifying tales.
