Top 10 Times Gamers Crashed Out While Streaming

Top 10 Times Gamers Crashed Out While Streaming
VOICE OVER: Geoffrey Martin
Gamers have their breaking points, and streaming only amplifies those moments of pure, unfiltered rage! Welcome to WatchMojo and today, we're diving into the most memorable instances where streamers completely lost their cool while playing video games. Our countdown of crash outs includes Kai Cenat Hiring a Therapist While Streaming "Shadow of the Erdtree" (2024), Tyler1's Up Close and Personal Rant About "Doom's" (2016) Loading Times, Favorce Flipping the Table over "Minecraft" (2011), and more!

#10: Snoop’s Out

Snoop Doggy Dog is a man of many talents, whether it’s spitting bars, smoking up a storm or bringing his signature slickness to the gaming scene. Aside from lending his voice to a few video games here and there, he also tried a hand at streaming…which resulted in a clip that went viral. While not as verbose or animated as other ragequits, the rapper was clearly pushed to his limit after getting soundly beaten in Madden, leading to him quitting then and there. Guess even Snoop Dog suffers from gamer grumps like the rest of us.

#9: Broken by Malenia

We have nothing but sympathy for streamer Lacari here. Beating Malenia is a trial by fire for all but the most experienced of Soulsborne lovers, and even then, she makes you put in the work. After struggling against the infamous Elden Ring boss for several hours straight, he’s greeted to the unwelcome sight of her shifting into her ascended form for phase two. The entire ordeal sends the poor man into a tailspin, to the extent that even after finally succeeding in besting her, he’s left broken inside. Yep, that’s the typical response alright.

#8: Flipping the Desk

Destruction of one’s own property when in the midst of crashing out is not uncommon, though few pull it off quite like Favorce. The most iconic of the bunch is likely when he went full caveman and flipped his table, but just a casual glance through any compilation video will show that he’s got plenty of other tricks to his name. Smashing his mouse, crushing his headphones, the list of destroyed appliances just keeps on piling up. You have to wonder if its part performance or that Minecraft generally brings out that level of animosity out of him. Either way, it looks like he won’t be stopping his domestic demolition derby any time soon.

#7: NEIN!

When it comes to gamer rage, Minecraft and flipping tables, there is one that bests Favorce in that department. And that honor goes to Estenfurz1. While one would think the beloved sandbox game would inspire a zen-like state, even with its combat, there are times when things can become…frustrating. Like when the Creepers get to creeping and detonate themselves next to your avatar, or when you accidentally dig too deep and fall into magma. But in the case of Estenfurz1, he chose to tango with the Goatman – a horror mod that ended in his demise. He didn’t take the results too kindly.

#6: E1ite Meltdown

We can understand that losing in competitive games such as Destiny 2 can be a tad trying at times, but when it comes to EliteDeath, every match is just a precursor to a nuclear explosion. It's hard to pick which crash out takes the cake, considering some of his gamer rampages lead to his entire set up getting either flung across the room or pounded into the ground. You’d think after the time he declared he was having a breakdown he would have called it quits – but thanks to the allure of Twitch – we know that’s never going to happen.

#5: Door Dash

Nothing inspires rage quite like Call of Duty, almost as much as non-functioning controls. Grizzy experienced both at once, hence this now infamous yet hilarious moment where the streamer not only punched practically all of the keys out of his keyboard, but left his room in such a furious state that he ended up taking the door off of its hinges in the process. See what Warzone did to this man? Went from Grizzy to grizzly because his parachute failed to open up twice.

#4: A Long Way Down

Few indies have inspired the same kind of tension and vitriol quite like Jump King. One wrong move, and it's all over. Mizkif experienced this the hard way when, on the edge of victory, he mistimed a jump that led to his character cascading way, way down. We can imagine losing so much progress is painful, but even then, we didn’t expect him to unleash such a guttural reaction. Seriously, that scream of his was next level. While he would eventually go on to jump his way to completion, there’s no forgetting the time he nearly went Super Saiyan out of sheer anguish.

#3: Up Close and Personal

What can be said about Tyler1? He’s built like a brick shithouse, became a god at chess, and isn’t afraid to be vocal when it comes to video game content that gets under his skin. Case and point, Doom 2016. While widely considered a beloved title, Tyler didn’t take too kindly to how, despite owning a physical copy of the game, he was left waiting as the game required additional downlight time after already booting it up. Hence why he decides to get up close to the camera to voice his displeasure, channeling his best Doom Slayer while he’s at it.

#2: A Warcraft Revelation

To say that Blizzard had fumbled the ball would be putting it lightly. Whether it's their workplace culture or their own IPs, scandal after scandal has slowly soiled their legacy, to the point where even some of their most ardent fans had to call them out on their crap. This led to this clip of Pyromancer slowly and systematically dismantling the current state of World of Warcraft. From the price gouging to the community to the developers, this is a bitter takedown from someone who used to adore the WoW universe, but now laments at its dismal spiral into a shadow of its former splendour.

#1: Hiring a Therapist

Shadow the Erdtree was an exquisite example of a Soulsborne DLC. It also featured one of the hardest final bosses in gaming. Consort Radahn proved to be a seemingly insurmountable wall for any and all gamers to overcome, including Kai Cenat. Needless to say, he had a rough time of it. It took him nearly fifty hours of gametime to finally vanquish his foe, with many a crash out along the way. Things got so bad at one point he hired and brought in a therapist to coach him through the worst of it! That’s certainly a first.

Which of these examples of gamer rage resonate with you the most? Let us know in the comments!
