Hades was not a villain. Despite his portrayal in most Myth movies, Hades, the god of the Underworld, is actually very rarely, a villain in the Greek myths (save for the whole, 'Abducting Persephone'

In the movie, Perseus befriends a Pegasus on his way to fight Medusa. In the myth, it wasn't till after Persus decapitated Medusa that the Pegasus sprang from the body of the Gorgon.

Perseus and Io were never a couple. Io was actually a distant ancestor of Perseus. After killing the sea-serpent and saving Andromeda, Perseus and Andromeda married nad had several children.
