Wales Millennium Centre


The Wales Millennium Centre is one example of modern architecture in the city. Located in the public plaza know as the Roald Dahl Plass, the arts centre is made with local Welsh materials and is noteworthy for its glass water tower.

Portmeirion


The Italian-style architecture of Portmeirion is a big attraction for tourists. The village has also earned a place in pop culture as a popular filming location.

Tredegar House in Newport is one of the UK’s best examples of a seventeenth century country mansion that was owned by Charles II.
