#10: “Warcraft”
Release Date: June 10, 2016 [U.S.]

“Warcraft” is one of June’s biggest question marks. On the one hand, it’s a major motion picture based on a popular video game franchise. On the other hand… it’s a major motion picture based on a popular video game franchise. Skepticism aside, the “Warcraft” trailers have been pretty darn epic, and director Duncan Jones is no noob. Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment just might pwn the video game movie curse. As long as Uwe Boll’s not involved, there’s always a chance.

#9: “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping”
Release Date: June 3, 2016 [U.S.]

From “Dick in a Box” to “Motherlover,” The Lonely Island has given us some ofmodern comedy’s funniest satirical songs. In March, it was revealed that the trio’s top secret movie would be titled, “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.” Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone get behind the camera while Andy Samberg takes center stage in this mockumentary about a dope pop star’s fall from grace. Throw in producer Judd Apatow and we’re prepared to jizz our pants with laughter. Will JT pop up, though?

#8: “The Conjuring 2”
Release Date: June 10, 2016 [U.S.]

We’re willing to pretend “Annabelle” never happened as long as “The Conjuring 2” delivers the scares. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return along with director James Wan in this follow-up to the 2013 supernatural thriller. Sequels rarely live up to their predecessors, especially when it comes to horror. Nevertheless, the trailer for “The Conjuring 2” had us all jumping out of our seats with its slick editing and haunting imagery. The film additionally received applause at its CinemaCon preview last April, which is certainly a good omen.

#7: “Kirby: Planet Robobot”
Release Date: June 10, 2016

Just when you thought Kirby couldn’t be any more awesome, HAL Laboratory decided to give him a friggin’ robot suit in this 3DS title! While this might sound like a change of pace, Kirby will still be able to swallow up enemies and copy their abilities. Amiibo will also be compatible with the game, allowing Kirby to mimic Mario’s firepower, Link’s swordplay, and more. Additionally featuring a multiplayer mode with RPG mechanics, “Kirby: Planet Robobot” should have more than enough content to absorb.

#6: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Release Date: June 10, 2016
It was only a matter of time until “Voltron” got rebooted. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, this Netflix series promises to be a darker take on the franchise while also remaining true to the original product. If that’s not enough to peak your interest, keep in mind that the showrunners are Lauren Montgomery and Joaquim Dos Santos, who previously worked on “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra.” With Studio Mir also doing the animation, we’re ready to form Voltron!

#5: “The Getaway” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Release Date: June 17, 2016

A raven, raccoon, bear, and little girl casually stroll down a sidewalk. That might sound like a setup to a joke, but it’s actually the album cover for “The Getaway.” Red Hot Chili Peppers’ eleventh studio album was delayed for eight months after bassist Flea broke his arm while snowboarding. This influenced the band to rethink the album and team up with producer Danger Mouse. Until the album finally drops, at least we have the single, “Dark Necessities,” to hold us over.

#4: "Independence Day: Resurgence"
Release Date: June 24, 2016 [U.S.]

Wanna hear something that’ll make you feel old? “Independence Day” hit theaters almost two decades ago! Mankind had 20 years to prepare for another invasion, but the aliens also had more than enough time to up their game. That’s the basic premise of “Independence Day: Resurgence,” which will see the return of Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, and Judd Hirsch. Sadly, Will Smith is sitting this one out. As long as Liam Hemsworth’s on humanity’s side, though, we will not go quietly into the night.

#3: "Orange Is the New Black" – Season 4
Release Date: June 17, 2016

Counting down the days until “Orange Is the New Black” comes back almost feels like doing time in prison– well, kind of. Little is currently known about the fourth season of this hugely successful Netflix original series, but based on the trailer, however, this could end up being the darkest chapter in Piper Chapman’s story yet. Whether the season leans more towards drama or comedy, our return to Litchfield Penitentiary can’t come soon enough. When you’re behind bars with these ladies, your sentence flies by too fast.

#2: “Finding Dory”
Release Date: June 17, 2016 [U.S.]

Ever since Ellen DeGeneres announced “Finding Dory” on her talk show, we’ve been eager to reunite with Nemo, Marlin, and of course, our favorite blue tang. This long-awaited follow-up will focus on the forgetful, yet lovable fish as she sets out to find her family. Best-case scenario, this will be Pixar’s funniest, smartest, and most heartfelt sequel since “Toy Story 3.” Worst-case scenario, it’ll be “Cars 2” all over again. Either way, this animation studio just needs to keep swimming.

#1: No Man’s Sky
Release Date: June 21, 2016

We’ve played open universe games before, but none of them had over 18 quintillion planets! Through a mathematical computation, gamers will be able to explore the uncharted universe of “No Man’s Sky” for a lifetime and still not see everything. In addition to winning multiple accolades at E3 2014, “No Man’s Sky” has also received praise from Stephen Colbert, who compared Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray to God. If the game can live up to such high expectations, the sky will truly be the limit.
