#10: Scheming Against Her Boss
“Magic Xylophone”
Bluey and Bingo have been playing with the “Magic Xylophone” – a musical toy that allows them to freeze people in place. Naturally, they’re using it to mess with Bandit, and Chilli directs a few snarky quips his way, too. It’s all in good fun, of course. But when Chilli prepares to leave for work, she gives the girls a warning – if they can’t share the xylophone properly, she’ll take it with her to work. Of course, she dryly jokes about using it on her boss. Even when she’s teaching her daughters an important lesson, Chilli’s sarcasm shines through… and makes us wonder what it’s like at her workplace.
#9: Puppet Patience

You know there’s trouble when Mum is reluctant to read the episode’s title. It’s past Bluey’s bedtime, so Chilli agrees to a bedtime story… while Bandit has a terrible idea up his sleeve. And thus, Chilli is forced to deal with the only thing worse than an insomniac child – Unicorse. Bandit’s rowdy, obnoxious puppet persona constantly gets on her nerves – he interrupts the story, mixes up her name, and even spoils the plot. Fortunately, Chilli and Bluey find the perfect technique to fight back – ignoring the pest. It may have been a chore for her, but seeing Chilli’s banter with Unicorse — and by extension, her husband — leaves us in stitches.
#8: Swatting Justice

Bluey and Bingo think up a game where Bandit pretends to be pregnant. On instinct, Chilli prepares a rolled-up magazine. Bandit mockingly whines and moans, basically imitating Chilli when SHE was pregnant. She is having NONE of that, though, and playfully swats her husband with the magazine, chewing him out for his cheekiness and making us giggle. For the rest of the day, Chilli revels in watching her husband discover the realities of pregnancy. It’s always a hilarious treat watching Chilli set Bandit straight; even though he was mostly teasing, she definitely gave him what he deserved – in the most hilarious way possible.
#7: Silly SatNav
“Taxi”
Today, the Heelers are playing Taxi. Bandit is in a big hurry to get to the airport, and is only getting dropped off after Bingo. Fortunately, Bluey has the SatNav to help guide the way. But Chilli is that Sat-Nav, and you she won’t make it easy for Bandit – where would the fun in that be? She gives bad directions, accidentally, we’re sure, and has some epic commentary as she gets them to their first stop – which is the wrong stop. It’s comedy gold that gets even funnier when she joins Bingo as a granny crossing the road, holding Bandit up further. Miraculously, he makes his flight, but it just goes to show that Chilli can teach him a thing or two about being cheeky.
#6: Hysterical Word Choice
“Hammerbarn”
While at Hammerbarn, Bluey and Bingo argue over who has better things on their respective sides of the cart – all while Chilli is trying to shop in peace. The girls’ squabbling comes to a head when they accidentally smash a garden gnome acting as Bingo’s husband. Chilli’s exact words to Bluey about what happens when you don’t value what you have are priceless. We know she’s imparting some important words of wisdom here, but it’s hard not to snicker at how she phrases the moral. Everything from her delivery to her angry tone just takes it over the top, creating a hysterical moment. It certainly makes us glad Chilli appreciates what she has or Bandit would’ve gotten it a long time ago.
#5: “Shake it, Chilli!”

Shake It Up Cast: Where Are They Now?
Bingo has been given three chances to put Chilli and Bandit in “dance mode” – meaning she can make them groove by touching their tails when music plays. At the crosswalk, the kids use the first one on Chilli… and she busts a move in front of the waiting cars. She gracefully prances and shimmies while the drivers cheer her on – though Wendy is horrified – to priceless effect. Chilli could technically stop the game at any time in the middle of the road in a bid to save face, but she stays committed to the bit no matter how embarrassing it is. The result is gut-bustingly funny. Naturally, Bandit teases her about it. But of course, she gives him a taste of his own medicine.
#4: Teasing Bandit

It’s clear for all to see that Bandit is the master teaser in the Heeler household. But occasionally, Chilli manages to masterfully outdo him – usually at his expense. There are, of course, the usual flawlessly sassy remarks. But that’s not all. She’ll do things like point out the flaws in his hair-brained schemes. She’s also known to encourage the girls to fight back to get their way in play. Poor Bandit just can’t seem to win, and it’s endlessly entertaining. It’s not serious, of course, as the pair maintain a loving, supportive relationship. But watching Chilli mess with her hubby is too amusing not to chuckle at.
#3: Hungover Whale

Chilli and Bandit are exhausted after a New Year’s Eve party, feeling too tired even to lift a muscle. Unfortunately, Bluey and Bingo want to play whale watching with Dad as the boat and Mum as the whale. Bandit unwillingly commits to the role, but Chilli barely does anything. She’s content to lie on her back, make things harder for Bandit, let out pitiful whale noises, and munch on chips. Her complete lack of energy is as relatable as it is hilarious — seriously, how many of us just want a day to veg out after overindulging the night before? As you probably guessed, she gives a whale of a performance in the end, delivering on the comedy once more.

Parents, how many times has this happened to you? You make plans to take your kids on an outing, but you must face one last stressful obstacle – getting them out the door. Indeed, that’s exactly what Chilli must endure when trying to take Bluey and Bingo on a playdate. It should be an easy exit, but the kids keep getting distracted by every little thing. We probably should feel bad for Chilli, but watching the normally calm matriarch lose it is too real and amusing – she even says that the door is RIGHT HERE! We’re practically crying from laughing so hard. Thankfully, it’s nothing a heart-to-heart with her kids can’t solve.

Chilli Heeler may be one of the kindest, most understanding people ever, but you’d do well to stay on her good side. Now and then, if it looks like someone is about to step out of line or get on her nerves, Chilli shoots them a cold, silent stare. It doesn’t matter if it’s Bluey, Bingo, or Bandit – anyone caught in Chilli’s line of sight knows that she means business… try to guess which of these three learns that lesson the hard way the most. Seeing it happen once is funny enough, but the fact that it’s become a running gag is even more of a treat, and further cements what we love about Chilli.
