From superhero mishaps to horror movie interruptions, these behind-the-scenes moments will have you laughing out loud! Our countdown includes epic fails from "Thor," "Kill Bill," "Breaking Bad," and more - proving that even the most serious actors can't always keep a straight face! Which of these caught your attention? Share in the comments.

Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the funniest outtakes from behind the scenes of serious moments.

#10: Hammer Time

“Thor: The Dark World” (2013)
Many epic moments in the “Thor” films rely on Mjolnir’s sheer power, but even the mightiest weapons have their limits. While filming a skirmish with the Dark Elves in “The Dark World,” Chris Hemsworth swung his hammer with all the force of a god – only for Mjolnir’s head to snap clean off mid-shot. The crew erupted into laughter as Hemsworth, fully suited in Thor’s mighty armor, leaned into the absurdity, twirling the broken handle like a baton in an impromptu dance routine. While Mjolnir is legendary in Norse mythology, this blooper demonstrated that it’s not quite as indestructible as mythology would have us believe.

#9: Eyeball Fun

“Kill Bill: Volume 1” (2003)
The first installment in Tarantino's acclaimed two-parter is packed with brutal, high-intensity action, but even the bloodiest scenes aren’t immune to bloopers. One of the film’s most infamous moments comes when The Bride (Uma Thurman) takes on the Crazy 88, a league of elite yakuza killers. Amid the chaotic battle, she plucks out an enemy’s eyeball with her bare hands, a moment so shocking it leaves audiences recoiling. But during the shoot, instead of being horrified, Thurman turned to the camera mid-scene and gleefully asked to do it again. It seems that while “Kill Bill” delivered buckets of blood, its star had a downright good time.

#8: Ian McShane Sings

“Deadwood” (2004-06)
Chock-full of drama, violence, and profanity, HBO’s multi-award-winning Western series is anything but lighthearted. However, behind the scenes, star Ian McShane showed he wasn’t above having a little fun. In what would ultimately serve as the show’s finale at the end of Season 3, McShane’s character, corrupt saloon owner Al Swearengen, coldly discusses a sinister plan to dispose of a sex worker. The script called for him to say a simple line: “Don’t get me started.” But when McShane bungled his delivery, he took the moment in stride by breaking into song. Needless to say, this unexpected musical number hardly fits the gritty tone of “Deadwood.”

#7: Peeing Horse

“The Witch” (2015)
Knock knock. Who’s there? Urinating horse. Robert Eggers’ 2015 directorial debut scared the ye olde bejesus out of audiences (including horror icon Stephen King). So the fact that such a gripping moment in the movie was interrupted by a peeing steed is pretty “delicious.” Anya Taylor-Joy, playing the family scapegoat Thomasin, angrily confronts her brother Caleb in the barn. But in the gag reel, as Thomasin threatens to wake their parents, she’s disrupted by a loud “whizzing.” The unexpected interruption breaks the tension, and Taylor-Joy can’t help but crack a playful grin. In a movie filled with dread, paranoia, and supernatural horror, this blooper provides some much-needed levity, courtesy of one very poorly timed horse.

#6: "I Didn't Do That!"

“Ready or Not” (2019)
In this successful horror-comedy, Andie MacDowell delivers a chilling performance as Becky Le Domas, the matriarch of a wealthy family with a gruesome secret. In one tense instance, she explains the brutal ritual her relatives must perform, her tone serious and foreboding. However, the moment takes an unexpected turn when MacDowell flubs her lines and swears in front of the young actors playing her grandsons. Realizing her mistake, she adorably proclaims her innocence as the kids burst into laughter. No worries, Andie; given the nature of this film, these children have witnessed far worse than a little cursing.

#5: Santa

“Sons of Anarchy” (2008-14)
Featuring high-stakes drama and Shakespearean tragedy, “Sons of Anarchy” isn’t exactly known for its laughs – but the gag reel certainly suggests otherwise. During an intense shootout in Season 4, Charlie Hunnam (Jax) and Ryan Hurst (Opie) take cover behind a pickup truck. But in one take, Hunnam misjudged his movement and toppled backward, landing squarely in Hurst’s lap. Without missing a beat, Hurst fully seized the moment and went full-on Santa Claus. It’s a level of wholesomeness we rarely, if ever, get to see in the actual show, making this blooper all the more hilarious.

#4: Regret

“Spider-Man 3” (2007)
By 2007, it was clear that the cast of Sam Raimi’s trilogy had established a close bond. Just watch the blooper reel and you’ll see how these actors cracked each other up. Surprisingly, Kirsten Dunst, who portrayed leading lady Mary Jane Watson, seems to have been one of the biggest goofballs on set. In one bleak moment wherein Peter Parker is hellbent on avenging his uncle, MJ pleads with her boyfriend not to act rashly. But Dunst tripped over her words, culminating in an awkward and super-redundant stumble-through followed by a break that totally disrupted the otherwise somber take.

#3: Matt Damon's "Wicked Smart" Moment

“The Martian” (2015)
Damon may be an award-winning actor and writer, but based on this mistake, it doesn’t look like math is among his talents. In his 2015 movie “The Martian,” Damon – as stranded astronaut Mark Watney – is seen writing down a sequence of numbers. But on the gag reel, we see him go straight to 184 rather than the correct 183. The mistake is instantly obvious, leading to laughter from the crew and Damon himself. Given that he once played a mathematical genius in “Good Will Hunting,” the irony makes this mix-up even funnier. Even the smartest astronaut on Mars can have a brain fart, proving that sometimes, space really does mess with your head!

#2: “I'm Not Really Dead”

“Inglourious Basterds” (2009)
Here's another classic Tarantino blooper! For a filmmaker known for his gruesome content, he certainly knows how to create a lively atmosphere on set – while also paying tribute to his late, great editor, Sally Menke. Few of his gag reels feature more “Hi Sallys” than that of 2009’s “Inglourious Basterds.” If you’ve seen the film, you know it’s anything but lighthearted, jam-packed with Tarantino’s signature gore. That’s what makes this moment so delightful: Til Schweiger, as Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz, breaks character during his own death scene just to reassure Sally he’ll be back in action soon.

#1: Baby Steals the Show

“Breaking Bad” (2008-13)
Digging deep into heavy themes like power and greed, this is not the kind of show where you expect a comedic blooper. Unless, of course, baby Holly is involved. In a particularly emotional scene, Skyler White breaks down, fearing for her family’s safety, as her sister Marie tries to comfort her. But the real scene-stealer? The baby, who decides to chime in at just the right moment. Her unexpected gurgle catches everyone off guard, turning the exchange into an unintentional laugh-fest. Anna Gunn and Betsy Brandt can’t help but break character, clearly enjoying their tiny co-star’s improvised contribution.
