Top 10 Best Movie After Credits Bloopers

Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the most entertaining end-credit bloopers.

#10: “Central Intelligence” (2016)

The film that kickstarted the Dwayne Johnson/Kevin Hart bromance, “Central Intelligence” banks heavily on the stars’ chemistry. As the bloopers reveal, their dynamic is entirely authentic. The rest of the cast also get in on the fun, with Amy Ryan tickling the Rock. Melissa McCarthy gets some nervous giggles at his impressive physique - and we can’t blame her!

#9: “We're the Millers” (2013)

Even with an R-rating, the humor in “We’re the Millers” is mostly pretty clean. The gag reel on the other hand is something else! The cast clearly thrives on improv, coming up with the wildest jokes on the fly. Of course, there’s no way Jennifer Aniston was getting through the shoot without a “Friends” reference. It goes to show that a cast full of celebrated comedic actors gets you the most hilarious results!

#8: “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” (2006)

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly's collaborations are comedy gold. The bloopers from “Talladega Nights”’ highlight the duo’s talents as they ad-lib lines. Watching the actors break each other, and themselves, is especially endearing. The leads aren’t the only ones cracking up the cast, either; one moment has Ferrell failing to keep his composure under the late Michael Clarke Duncan’s perfect comedic timing.

#7: “The Cannonball Run” (1981)

Featuring an assortment of wacky characters, this action comedy is proud of its own kookiness. If the gag reel is anything to go by, the actors embraced their sillier side and then some. There’s something wholesome about watching well-known action stars like Burt Reynolds and Roger Moore shed their tough guy images. Although the film was a critical flop, it’s clear that the cast had the time of their lives making this cult classic.

#6: “Date Night” (2010)

Pairing comedy geniuses Steve Carell and Tina Fey in this movie about a married couple in way over their heads was a brilliant move. The film’s outtakes showcase their knack for improv, with Carell and Fey surprising their scene partners at every turn. We’re also treated to an extended take on the couple’s botched attempts to pass off as a European couple. As expected, it’s an absolute riot.

#5: “Horrible Bosses” (2011)

Apparently, this film was as fun to make as it was to watch. The cast put the “slap” in slapstick – literally! The bloopers also help make up for Colin Farrell’s relatively small screen time in the film, with an extended outtake of the actor displaying his improv skills. Meanwhile, Jason Sudeikis closes things out with the perfect wink to the audience.

#4: “The Nutty Professor” (1996)

It’s not often that most of the cast is just one person. But that was the case with “The Nutty Professor,” where Eddie Murphy plays as many as seven characters onscreen. Keeping a straight face around Murphy is quite a task, and turns out nobody on set was up to the challenge! Even Murphy himself struggles to maintain his composure. Then again, we would, too!

#3: “Liar Liar” (1997)

Few can compete with Jim Carrey when it comes to physical comedy, and “Liar Liar” provided Carrey with the perfect platform. Carrey cooks up jokes within seconds, with his scene partners having no choice but to roll with them. Of course, his boundless enthusiasm pretty much makes him a one-man show. Still, actress Swoosie Kurtz arguably owns this reel’s best moment, putting even Carrey at a loss for words …

#2: “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” (2004)

There was so much footage shot for “Anchorman” that a whole other film, “Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie,” was released as a companion piece. And yet, it still wasn’t enough to include all the hilarity on set, as this gag reel reveals! The movie doesn’t let go of its surreal elements, adding a blooper from 1980’s “Smokey and the Bandit II” - one of the first movies to include outtakes in the credits.

#1: “Rush Hour 2” (2001)

Can you even call it a Jackie Chan movie if it doesn’t come with a blooper reel? The reel for “Rush Hour 2” shows off not only his dedication to his craft, but also his chemistry with co-star Chris Tucker. Tucker’s tendency to forget the name of his castmate’s character is a recurring factor. With all the fun the cast and crew had, it’s no wonder they returned for “Rush Hour 3” – well, except for that one guy ...
