You can vote on future episode topics here: http://WatchMojo.comtopx Today we'll be getting amped up for silliness as we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Youtube Prank Videos.

#10: Stealing Peoples Gas Prank
youtube.com/RomanAtwood

-Any prank with not one but TWO exclamation points in the title has gotta be legit. Ever been in the mood to prank someone by pretending to siphon gas from their car? No? Well, regardless here’s user RomanAtwood to show you the do’s and don’ts. Mostly don’ts.
-It’s a simple concept: Roman fills up a detached gas station hose with water, and sticks it in people’s cars. Then it’s just a matter of waiting until the car owner shows up... which – in the “wtf did you think would happen” department – ends up turning frightening bordering on violent. People really aren’t keen on losing gas, let’s put it that way.
-After filming the prank, Roman stated that he doesn’t intend to do a similar prank in the future. Considering how scary some of those car owners could be, we get the reluctance... though this was still hilarious – if only to see this career prankster get his comeuppance.

#9: Mario Kart
youtube.com/nqtv

-Video games are wondrous things, and the Mario Kart series is a proud part of that tradition. So naturally, someone had to take their love for these kart racing games and translate it into the real world.
-Thus we have this prank by French prankster Rémi Gaillard, who appears to be driving an actual go-kart... dressed as the famed plumber Mario himself. As the video progresses, Gaillard acts out several of Mario Kart’s iconic tropes: he throws banana peels, activates a speed boost, gets super-charged by a star power-up. And all the while Gaillard is driving down busy busy streets.
-It’s a fun little tribute and one heck of an eye-catching prank. I do have to ask, though: who was in charge of picking up those banana peels?

#8: Zombie Drive-Thru Prank
youtube.com/edbassmaster

-We know that when people say “Trick or Treat” on Halloween, they usually expect a treat. Well this video goes the other way – to the extreme.
-The video shows actor and YouTube personality Ed Bassmaster dressed up as a zombie and scaring the living daylights out of people. Specifically, Ed drives up to drive-thru restaurant windows and shows off his undead appearance. Some people gasp, some people chuckle, and some people – well, they react how I imagine most would when faced with a zombie. That is, with terror and disbelief. It’s good.
-Bassmaster’s character acting and love of pranks are well known, to such a degree that TV channel CMT is producing a show based around his antics. Going by this video, it’s easy to see why he’s making the leap from YouTube to TV, as I genuinely LOL’d at this video.

#7: Mistletoe Kissing Prank
youtube.com/stuartedge

-Aww, something cute and funny all at once. But that comes with the territory when your prank is based on the question, “Do you kiss under the mistletoe?”
-Using his friends Nate and Kaitlin as “bait,” YouTube user Stuart Edge commences his simple-but-effective prank: getting people to kiss upon seeing mistletoe. Stuart has Nate and Kaitlin draw people in with a fake survey about Christmas, before dropping down mistletoe and leaving the rest to fate. What’s surprising is how many people actually obey the will of the mistletoe, though not everyone is that kind. My personal favorites were the old ladies…
-Apparently Stuart was inspired for this prank by an awkward party, because he found it odd that people specifically avoided the mistletoe. Well, now you know: most people seem cool with it. As long as you’re cute.

#6: Drive Thru Invisible Driver Prank
youtube.com/MagicofRahat

-What’s scarier than zombies? Nothing. No, like, literally nothing. As we’ve seen, zombie scares are all well and good, but the real trick is convincing people that you’re an invisible person just driving along. Fortunately, we have MagicofRahat’s magnificent efforts to showcase such a trick.
-Using a homemade costume to disguise himself as a car seat, prankster Rahat Hossain proceeds to drive from drive-thru to drive-thru. The concept of a guy pretending to be invisible is amusing on its own, but what seals the deal are everyone’s reactions; one glance at the car, and it’s either confusion, shock, or spontaneous fear. At the end of the video, Rahat even acknowledges himself as a ghost... and the drive-thru girl just accepts it!
-Serving as Rahat’s breakout video, this prank was featured on various talk shows like “Good Morning America” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”*** All we’ll say is well played, sir – well played.

#5: Mortal Kombat Elevator Prank
youtube.com/fouseyTUBE

-Get over here – and be prepared for a fight. This prank falls into the territory of “video game reference,” but don’t worry: it’s still about scaring the pants off people.
-Meet Yousef Erakat AKA Fousey, another charming entertainer who opts for a disguise-based prank. Fousey dons the costume of Sub-Zero, a character from “Mortal Kombat,” and lurks in an elevator waiting for poor souls to spook. The video shows him making air punches, lunging at people, and just glowering in general – which apparently turns out to be enough to frighten anyone within close proximity. And frankly, as a girl, getting into an elevator alone with a ripped dude wearing a mask is not my idea of a good time… Or is it?
-Anyway, we at WatchMojo are certainly not shy about our love for gaming-themed videos – well, maybe not me specifically but wtv – and this one is definitely a highlight.

#4: Killer Clown Scare Prank
youtube.com/DmPranksProductions

-DmPranksProductions is no stranger to terrifying an audience – look at their Devil’s Daughter Scare Prank, But with their clown-focused prank, the terror grows.
-The video shows a man dressed as a stereotypical clown catching people off-guard by... well, wielding a giant hammer and smashing a fake person’s head in. With each attempt, we get a look at the person witnessing the act who then flees, before it cuts to a close-up of the fake blood splatter. Let’s put it this way: being in that situation, we might be inclined to believe a clown really was going psycho. Especially cause it’s set in a parking garage. Parking garages are CREEPY.
-This morbid yet effective prank was apparently difficult to stage, according to the video’s co-creator Matteo. The first hammer Matteo and his crew intended to use, for example, weighed almost 130 pounds and couldn’t be used. Still, they soldiered on and turned out an entertaining video.

#3: Girlfriend Caught Cheating Prank
youtube.com/PrankvsPrank

-If you’re going for shock and awe, there’s nothing quite like an infidelity prank. Just be warned: things can get out of hand, if you’re not careful.
-Jeana (gina), part of the YouTube channel PrankvsPrank, sets about messing with her boyfriend Jesse Wellens’ head. The preparations she undertakes for her “Caught Cheating” prank are pretty impressive: like, she starts by being all shady in text messages, but the best is she actually buys an entire outfit of men’s clothes, sprays it with cologne(!) and lays it out strategically around the house. Finally, when Jesse gets home from a trip, the prank commences in an intense and amusing fashion as Jesse reacts the way most people would when faced with a cheating partner.
-Of course, that’s par for the course on PrankvsPrank, which has been operating since November 2009. We considered the couple’s Hot Pepper Extract Prank, but this one really caught our eye.

#2: Chainsaw Massacre Prank
youtube.com/VitalyzdTv

-What’s more terrifying and surprising than a big man with a chainsaw? Well, that would be a big man with a big ass chainsaw who also appears to be killing someone, as part of a carefully constructed prank. Again, in a parking garage. See? I told you: CREEPY.
-Inspired by the film “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” this video puts Internet comedian Vitaly Zdorovetskiy in the role of the murderous Leatherface, and his associate Nick Santonastasso – who was born with no legs and one arm, btw – as his victim. From start to finish, it’s an effective homage to gory horror films, from Vitaly’s fierce use of a chainsaw to the practical effects used to simulate Nick’s organs spilling out. The duo really goes for broke, leading a lot of passers-by to shriek and flee for their lives.
-To say this prank went viral is an understatement; in the three weeks after it went up on YouTube, it accrued more than 30 million views. Now that’s an impressive feat. Honestly, we’ll just let this one speak for itself.

Before we get to the #1 YouTube Prank Video, here are a few honorable mentions:

#1: Mutant Giant Spider Dog
youtube.com/wardegasa

-Spider-dog, spider-dog, does whatever a spider-dog does... and we’re not precisely sure what that is. But this is still an amazing setup for comedy.
-Sylwester Wardega, better known by his username SA Wardega, came up with a simple idea: dress his dog Chica in a large spider costume, and let events take their course. What follows is a series of escalating scares, as ordinary people just going about their business balk at the sight of this “mutant spider”. Whether on an elevator or along a sidewalk, Chica’s get-up never ceases to freak people out.
-According to the YouTube blog, this was the number one top trending video of 2014. If that is indeed true, then congratulations Wardega. Also, please keep Spider-Dog away from us; it makes me feel like I’m in a Stephen King novel.
