#20: Dawn O’Porter & Chris O’Dowd
British journalist O’Porter and Irish actor hubby O’Dowd made a big splash when it came time to announce their big news. In fact, you might say the “Bridesmaids” star and his wife made a chilling baby announcement during their ALS ice bucket challenge. Moments after O’Dowd’s dunked with ice water, he calls on “baby O’Porter” as his last nominee. The camera then pans to his wife, who’s dropping a mini cup of ice water over her adorable baby bump. She later confirmed the pregnancy on her Twitter account saying, “Thought we’d better mention it, before I got O’Busted!”
#19: Michael Bublé & Luisana Lopilato
Canadian crooner Bublé shared an intimate moment from home to announce that baby number two was on its way. The Grammy Award-winning artist posted a super sweet video starring his first born, Noah, and his actress wife Luisana Lopilato. In a tender moment, Bublé, asks his son, who’s dressed in Minion jammies, “Who’s that in there?” Noah walks over to his mom, who’s pulled her shirt up to reveal her tummy, points and says “baby!” The whole thing was captured by Bublé as Britney Spears’ “Oops I did It Again” played in the background. It’s no surprise that Instagram has seemingly become the go-to social media platform for celebrity pregnancy announcements. Everyone finds a different way to break the exciting news, from lavish parties to intimate bedroom selfies. Jessica Alba found a happy medium when she posted this adorable pregnancy announcement with her daughters Honor and Haven in July of 2017. Alba and husband Cash Warren were expecting their third child together; and that December they welcomed Hayes Alba into the world! As her boomerang caption rightfully exclaimed, the couple are now outnumbered by their children three to two!

Justin Timberlake took to Instagram in 2015 to inform the world that he and wife Jessica Biel were expecting their first child together. The couple, who married three years earlier, opted for a close up of Biel’s baby belly, with Timberlake planting a kiss on it for good measure. The Paper Crown princess made her exciting first announcement with a ‘grammed photo of her holding a sonogram with the caption, “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…” Conrad also shared a babymoon photo that got over 500,000 likes. In early 2015, the Seattle based rapper, announced via that he and wife Tricia Davis were expecting their first child. The soon-to-be parents posted a video of Tricia receiving an ultrasound, with Macklemore sitting close by and holding her hand. The look of pure joy on their faces as they find out that they’re going to be parents is incredibly touching. Tricia gave birth later that year, and the two would welcome a second daughter to the family in 2018.

The announcement debuting their third baby was a family affair that received tons of gushing comments on Instagram, but when it came time to announce baby number two, the Lachey clan kept it simple and sweet. When people think of the perfect Hollywood couple, they think of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The two married in 2012 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2014. The announcement, which was posted on Lively’s former lifestyle site Preserve, featured images of the actress holding her baby bump and smiling profusely. The photos, which saw Lively surrounded by friends and family in an outdoor setting, are beautiful; reflecting the autumn time period in which they were shot. I am going to be a mummy!” Though not as “punny” as her first, the former pop star’s second pregnancy announcement was just as cute. Wilde posted an adorable black and white photo to Instagram of her and son Otis sitting side by side, holding their exposed bellies. The caption simply reads, “Matching baby bumps.” Otis couldn’t look happier about having a new sibling as he looks up at his mom. With a big smile and effortless style, this mom-to-be makes being pregnant look like a breeze. This, of course, was Wilde’s second pregnancy with SNL alumni Jason Sudeikis.
#5: Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot enthralled viewers the world over with her star-making portrayal of Wonder Woman. So, it was only right that she slipped a “wonder” pun into her pregnancy announcement. The Israeli actress posted this sweet selfie in November of 2016 informing her followers that she and husband Yaron Varsano were expecting their second child; and captioned it, “So excited to share this wonder with you...” The photo features the two of them holding Gadot’s baby belly and sporting loving smiles. Our adoration for this picture is superseded only by our jealousy for the kid who gets to call Wonder Woman “mom”.

Colleen Ballinger is perhaps best known for her online alter ego, Miranda Sings, a character which has seen her build up a massive following over the years. However, there was nothing funny about her emotional pregnancy announcement. In true YouTuber fashion, Ballinger documented her discovery for the entire Internet to see. The video, plainly titled “I’m Pregnant”, sees the social media icon checking her pregnancy test before realizing she is in fact, pregnant. From there the video jumps to Ballinger emotionally informing her friends and family that she’s expecting; and the results will bring a tear to your eye!

Cardi B stunned everyone when she appeared on “Saturday Night Live” sporting a noticeable baby bump. The rapper, then surrounded by unconfirmed pregnancy gossip, kicked off her appearance on the show with a performance of “Bodak Yellow”. However, she hid her belly under an elaborate costume. But that was not the case when she came out later in the program to sing “Be Careful”. That time she trotted out on stage in a form fitting white dress; and as the camera panned down to reveal her stomach the crowd cheered their approval. Cardi B gave birth to a daughter in July of 2018.
#2: Jensen & Danneel Ackles
“Supernatural’s” Jensen Ackles married actress Danneel Harris in 2010 and the two have since expanded their family to five. They had a daughter in 2013 and welcomed twins a few years later. To announce the birth of these two new bundles of joy Danneel Ackles decided to post this cute photo to her Instagram account. The pic features a row of cowboy boots, one for each family member, and the caption, “Yep! Doublemint here we come!” It can be difficult to cut through the noise of so many celebrity pregnancy announcements, but we believe the Ackles did just that with this creative and totally adorable post!
