These moments prove that making RuPaul laugh is the ultimate seal of approval! Watch as queens like Jinkx Monsoon, Alaska, Katya, and Alyssa Edwards leave RuPaul in stitches with their quick wit, perfect timing, and sometimes unintentionally hilarious moments. Which queen do you think got the biggest laugh from Ru?

#20: The Only Thing Fake About Alaska

Reunited

RuPaul loves a pop culture reference. Alaska probably knew the host was going to ask her about her controversial elimination strategy at the All Stars 2 reunion. Her habit of saving her friend, Roxxxy Andrews, from being cut from the season earned her some criticism from the audience. But to those who called her fake, she had one thing to say. RuPaul, slowly realizing what was happening, just started convulsing with laughter in her chair. The callback to a classic The Real Housewives of New York City moment was exactly the drama the reunion needed.

#19: Monéts Fakeout Split

The Last Ball on Earth

If theres one way to win a lip sync, its to make RuPaul laugh. Facing elimination in week 4, season 10 Miss Congeniality Monét X Change knew she had to make an impression if she wanted to stay. Amid a Nicki Minaj lip sync, she pulled a legendary stunt. Positioning herself like a queen usually does before she does a split, Monét completely faked us all out. It was a genius ploy, and it was sure to make her hard to forget. RuPaul was beside herself with laughter. Even behind her facekini and sunglasses, a look were still scratching our heads about, it was clear Ru loved it.

#18: Henny

Family That Drags Together

Queens better show up and show out for a lip sync to one of the hosts own songs. Step It Up is a high-energy number, but its also hilarious. Rus own laugh is even featured on the track. As the top two of the week, Detox and Katya faced off against each other in week 7. Now, theres a section of the song where RuPaul just says the word henny over and over. In the funniest moment, Katya decided to look right into Rus eyes, count up all the hennies, and bend further over with each repetition. Its the kind of kooky performance style the host just cant get enough of.

#17: No As In Yes

Disco-mentary

In this clip from season 13, Ru was trying to test her queens knowledge of disco. Predictably, they were not as well-versed as they couldve been. But it was Kandy Muse who had to give an impromptu English lesson. When RuPaul asked her if she knew the difference between Diana Ross and Donna Summer, her answer was confusing. Her insistence that she meant no as in yes left the host gasping for air. Ru even had to look to the camera for help. You could tell Kandy didnt really know why this was so funny. It made perfect sense to her.

#16: Trinitys Roast

The Kennedy Davenport Center Honors Hall of Shade

Going into the all winners roast, people werent sure how Trinity the Tuck was going to do. But she not only proved everyone wrong, she got the biggest laughs out of RuPaul all night. Trinitys entire set was great, and she was clearly hitting all the right notes for Ru. But her best zinger was about her fellow castmate, Raja. Lets not forget her calling the season 3 winner a tall drink of water, and following it up with a quip about the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. It was incredibly dark and incredibly mean, and Rus delighted screams drowned everything else out.

#15: Jessicas Roast

Carson Kressley, This Is Your Gay Life!

All Stars 8 finalist Jessica Wilds return to the franchise had been a long time coming. The entire season saw RuPaul absolutely losing her mind over Jessicas bizarre, dramatic, and totally fabulous sense of humor. But it was at the Carson Kressley Roast where Jessica really shone. There were moments during her set where we actually had to turn the sound down because RuPauls characteristic screams of laughter were just so loud. Jimbo may have won the challenge, but Ru really loved this. It was a slam dunk for Jessica, demonstrating why she earned a spot as an all star.

#14: Theyre All Helping Me Out by Being Horrible

Drag Queens of Comedy

Bianca Del Rio won season 6 with the same silhouette, the same makeup, and a variety of nasty jokes and one-liners. And it was clear from the jump that RuPaul was living for her. It was also clear that she wasnt exactly as evil as she pretended to be. Throughout the competition, Bianca helped her fellow queens when they needed it. During a pre-challenge Werk Room chat, the host asked who assisted her, and she was hysterically blunt. They all were lending her a hand by being horrible at the challenges. The answer was quick, and Ru started cackling so hard it became wheezing.

#13: River Medways Hometown Runway

The Return of Royalty

The first runway of Drag Race UK season 3 saw the queens wearing looks that were an homage to their hometowns. River Medways look was a salute to an iconic statue of navy officer Thomas Fletcher Waghorn. As she walked the runway in the shimmering look, River kept stopping to point, imitating the Waghorn statues pose. Each time, Ru could be heard going crazy. It was as if this was the funniest thing shed ever seen. And honestly, we cant blame her. She didnt quite know the reference, but that made it even funnier to her.

#12: Please, Noelle!

Santas School for Girls

The late Vivienne won season 1 of Drag Race UK and made her stateside debut on the all winners season of All Stars. It was clear RuPaul really adored her. While performing, or at least trying to perform, a scene from a spoof horror movie, the Vivienne had to reference a beloved line from Mommie Dearest. But each time she tried to say Noelle, please! Please, Noelle! Ru couldnt keep it together. Eventually, Viv had to beg RuPaul to stop laughing long enough to get her line out. They sounded more like friends at this moment than a contestant and a host.

#11: Lazy Susan

Drag Race Vegas Live! Makeovers

In this makeover challenge, the queens of season 16 were tasked with transforming the masculine, muscular Pit Crew dancers from RuPauls Drag Race Live! into their drag daughters. Plane Jane named her daughter Lazi Susan. But until the Werk Room walkthrough with Ru, she had no idea just how much gold shed struck with that moniker. Then, all of a sudden, RuPaul was doubled over with laughter, practically having an attack. All the queens enviously watching this happen made it even funnier. The rest of the challenge was just a formality. Plane could have sent Lazi out there in a diaper, and Ru still would have given her the win.

#10: Scarlett Harlett as Macaulay Culkin

Snatch Game

Every Drag Race fan knows the number one rule of Snatch Game is to make Ru laugh. But Scarlett Harletts impression had the host busting a gut before the challenge even started. During Rus standard walkthrough before Snatch Game, the Drag Race UK Season 3 queen voiced her plan to impersonate Danny Dyer before reminiscing about her likeness to former child star Macaulay Culkin or legendary actress Tilda Swinton being pointed out. The decision became crystal clear when Ru absolutely lost it after asking to see her impression of Caulkin. Ru is usually so composed on the show, which is why her wheezing, floor-stomping reaction to Scarletts impersonation is such a joyous moment.

#9: Jinkx Monsoon as Judy Garland

Snatch Game

Going into the All Winners Snatch Game, expectations were high for Season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon. After all, her portrayal of Little Edie Beale on her original season left RuPaul in stitches. Everyone knows Ru gets a kick out of her queens teaching the children about the legendary divas. And with her performance as the biggest diva of them all, Jinkx Monsoon definitely delivered. Employing her quirky and bawdy sense of humor, Jinkx brought the iconic Judy Garland back to life, leaving Ru on the verge of tears with her impromptu mini concerts and filthy stories about Frank Sinatra.

#8: Alyssa Edwards as Joan Crawford

All Stars Snatch Game

Unsurprisingly, our next entry is yet another Snatch Game clip. This one is courtesy of the kooky Texas dancing diva herself, Alyssa Edwards. Judging by RuPauls many, many, many references to the 1981 cult classic Mommie Dearest, its safe to say that the campy Joan Crawford biopic is one of her favorites. So, the All Stars 2 contestant borrowed heavily from Faye Dunaways infamous performance as the screen goddess for her Snatch Game impression. If RuPauls delight at Alyssas clever references to the movies dialogue are any indication, then this was a very wise choice. Even when it didnt make a lick of sense, the host couldnt help but admit it was fun to watch.

#7: Red for Filth

Scent of a Drag Queen

Across her two appearances on the show, Alaska was one queen who never failed to make Ru scream with laughter. This was especially true during the eighth week of her original run, when the queens were tasked with creating hilariously sexy perfume ads. Alaskas commercial, Red for Filth, would ultimately win the challenge. As the queen demonstrated the many uses of her perfume, some of them not safe for work, parts of the commercial were literally drowned out by the hosts howls of laughter. All these years later, its still impossible to think of Alyssas perfume without being reminded of RuPauls delighted cackle.

#6: Miss Vanjie

10s Across the Board

After losing her lipsync in the first episode, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo had a pretty standard exit, until she uttered the now famous catchphrase - her own name. Soon to become the meme of the year, the moment had RuPaul doubling over with laughter throughout the season. It got to a point that fellow judge Michelle Visage would repeat the phrase just to make Ru crack up at the most inopportune times. Ru even did her own version of it later on in the season, long after Vanjie was eliminated. Its probably the biggest shadow a first-out has left over a season of Drag Race, so its no wonder Ru wanted Miss Vanjie back for Season 11.

#5: A Sensible 74

Snatch Game of Love

Jujubee is another queen who RuPaul cant help but love. Whether shes reading her competitors for filth or cutting up in the werkroom, Ru is constantly delighted at every single thing she says. Perhaps the most unforgettable moment came during Snatch Game on All Stars 5 when Jujubee decided to impersonate singer and actress Eartha Kitt. The performance was a hit, but what really sent Ru, as well as the audience, over the edge was one specific moment. When asked how she would keep her prospective partner warm, Jujubee, in a smoldering voice, described sensually walking to the thermostat and simply turning it up. Her response proved too much for Ru, who fell out before Jujubee could even finish the joke.

#4: Type 2 Diabooties

Whats the Tee

Drag Race is not the only place you can find Rus unmistakable cackle. On a 2016 episode of RuPaul and Michelle Visages podcast, Whats the Tee, Season 7 queen Katya tickled the hosts funny bone in a major way. The topic of discussion on this particular episode was the male anatomy. Katya, who is a fan, described her intense love of mens rear ends as a condition called Type 2 Diabooties. RuPaul lost it at the mic, nearly shattering our eardrums in the process. Katyas offbeat sense of humor and casual vulgarity won plenty of fans on both of her seasons of Drag Race and clearly, RuPaul was one of them.

#3: Freakin Chorizo!

Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Style

Season 3 finalist Alexis Mateo had a barnburner of an episode during the patriotic PSA challenge. The queens were tasked with creating a public service announcement in support of American troops overseas, and Alexis took the opportunity and ran with it. As she hurled catchphrase after catchphrase his way, RuPaul nearly fell over in his directors chair. By the time she brought out her chorizo, no one in the room could catch their breath. Its proof that there are few things Ru likes her queens to do than just be stupid, silly and sickening, no?

#2: Cocos Roast

RuPaul Roast

Realizing she wasnt exactly known for her comedy skills, Season 5 queen Coco Montrese decided to go the unconventional route for the first ever Drag Race roast. She performed her set in character as RuPauls cousin from the Brewster Projects. The character allowed Coco to shine, and Ru wasnt even able to recover from one joke before being hit with the next, leaving her in stitches. Clearly, the host wasnt prepared to come face to face with her long lost cousin. Rus explosive laughter was particularly satisfying, given that Coco had been underestimated going into the challenge.

#1: Uticas Expression

RuPaulmark Channel

It started innocently enough. Ru was doing the standard walkthrough in the werkroom with his Season 13 queens. Then, Ru asked Utica Queen if she ever indulged in a certain illicit substance. Utica, seemingly unsure how to answer, responded with a variety of inexplicable facial expressions that got wilder as they went on. As unhinged as it is funny, Uticas reaction to a fairly simple question is one of the wildest things weve seen on Drag Race in a long time. Even wilder was RuPauls symphony of laughter in response. Utica had Ru gagging for what seemed like forever while she kept on pantomiming.
